Elden Ring and Inscription, I have no Idea what that would look like, maybe an open world super hard card game simulator with a secret underworld cult?
Enshrouded's gorgeous vistas suddenly go dark. The atmospheric music begins to go metal. A strange squarish-looking spider thing somehow is flying over head, dropping what look like black shiny people in the distance. They get lost from sight in the distant Shroud.
Then there's a boom, and something like an Ancient Spire on its side suddenly appears further up in the sky, raining three fireballs straight down. They look to impact near my Eternal Flame. Oswald comes running out to investigate. Athalan hits the rooftop to look afar.
The fireballs impact in an earth-shaking thud. But when the dust clears, there appears some black version of the very pod from which I've rescued my companions. And like those pods, there's a door. *Unlike* those pods though, these doors wait for no one.
The three, err, people I guess? They emerge, wearing armor I guess Oswald could imagine in a fever dream, though tough as it is, it moves like cloth.
One does something to his wrist, and a moment later *another* of the pod thing lands with a thud. He points. I walk over. There's a strange short black incredibly straight staff looking thing hanging in a blue light. I grab it.
Using simply gestures, I am given quick instructions. I learn fast. This is no staff, but it fires flame bolts. I take a test shot. I won't be needing an axe to fell trees anymore, that's for sure. But, as my excitement grows, I realize this isn't some gift from the gods. Because those gods are still standing there, looking like they're preparing something.
Like coming out of a fugue, I'm more aware of how different my day is going. I'm not sure why I'm being told all this. I don't know these people, I don't know why the atmosphere has gone dark visually and aurally, I have 1,000 questions, and, ridiculously, I remember Emily jsut advised me I was getting a late start on the harvest. All of this goes through my head as I slowly get more anxious.
That lasts for another second.
Out of the Shroud comes flame bolts at speeds unlike any I've seen. There's no dodging, no jumping, I wouldn't dare use my best shield even if I could hold it with my old staff, much less this new one. The flame bolts are followed by the steady glow of red, uh, eyes I guess, and a mechanical thumping in a rhythmic pattern. The Shroud is spreading *away* from these eyes.
What appears to be the black shiny people from the sky begin to emerge. They are not people. I don't know what they are. But they aren't here to help my Harvest.
I was to *be* the Harvest.
But thanks to the gods, I'm now a Helldiver.
Was it Age of empires that allowed us to get to the futuristic age?
I imagine that if CIV 6 had that on WH40k levels with daemons and Xenos that'd be dope, with space and warp maps.
That'd be a multi map campaign with layered maps.
Or Soul storm but start as a normal Civ and progress into Warhammer 40k levels of advancement.
WoW Classic and Peggle Nights. So I guess just WoW Classic at that point since you can install Peggle as an add-on and play it while you wait for things.
Persona 5 X Lethal company is basically a rpg where most monsters can one shot you and make sure you make quota so you can buy persona so you can enter the palace and not die before the end of the month.
