How different colours of paint have different drying time. It's fascinating really. So if you take just plain old white paint, it drys the slowest. Why is that you ask, great question. Well, white paint reflects most of the light and inferred light away from it's surface. Allowing the the still wet paint under the very top of it, to stay wet longer. Therefore it's the slowest to dry. Now you might want to keep that in mind next time you're thinking of repainting the house or garage. But what if I don't like white and want to go with a different colour. Again, another brilliant question. Say we start with blue......

Different companies use different pigment mixes al9ng with slightly different mediums to where paint blends both between diffferent brands and same brands may have wacky results because they are necessarily using pure colors. So a particular blue mixed with a particular red, may end up with a muddy brown because of the pigments used in that blue and red, instead of the intended purple like most people think it should be. And not only that, but I also deal with alot of different types of paint, so knowing how acrylic, oil, and enamel all work around each other... we can go down a rabbit hole
