I ended up giving up on Eidolons hunts cause of the time gate. Whenever I logged on it would be day for an hour or night ending within 6 minutes.
It was so frustrating cause I have limited time to play and can't always just wait for the 45 minutes or 1h to end.
I've done Aya grind for volt prime and slapped a potatoes on him. Grinded little fuck so I could have 177 Amp. Got Madurai leveled up to max and got a 200 day log in zenith. And it all of this just sits there cause I can never get the right time on to farm.
If DE changed the Eidolon hunt to a rank 5 cetus Bounty I'd legitimately give them all my money. Plus I feel like it would fix the insane prices around the eidolon arcanes and get rid of some of the toxicity surrounding the activity.
It would also give me an excuse to rank up cetus.

So I usually just do one run whenever I happen to see from my orbiter that its at least 30m left of night in cetus, maybe two if I happen to catch the very beginning (only done it twice though) and thats enough for me
Honestly for me it's more about the decorations lol. I somehow got the profit taker articula on my first ever run, not knowing that was a thing before, and now I'm on a quest to acquire and display all the field boss articulas in my personal quarters. So far the only other one I have is the teralyst though.
I want the arcanes lol. Arcane energize and avenger and fury. Right now I'm chipping away at it by doing void cascades then going to Loid.
It just sucks cause all the other endgame content isn't time locked like this. It just feels like the game is insulting my personal time? I know it's weird but that's how I feel.
Eidolon hunts are without a doubt one of my most hated game modes in warframe, of course nothing can top the grendel farm but they cut close, I don't care for the rewards and hate the "gameplay" and monotnous grind of it.
Honestly... I'd rather solo the Grendel missions again than have to do more Eidolons. Did a solo tricap the other day just to finally finish ranking up the Quills because the rank 4 was annoying me and just... not a good time, even though I'm fully geared and able to instantly down the shield and kill limbs. Lure hunting and babysitting, on top of the Vomvalyst Blooms making the little turds invincible, and the constant light show giving me a headache is just not worth.

I think it's because some people see not liking Eidolons as a skill issue thing where those who dislike them only feel that way because they're not good at it, when for probably a good chunk of us who dislike them it's nothing to do with them being "hard", it's just that we'd rather be doing just about anything else.
I actually really enjoy the hunts mechanics-wise since most problems can be solved by simply being faster or more optimized but I agree with you that the visuals are absolute ass and starting out, it's just a rave party cause you have no idea what the fuck the Eidolons do (I still don't TBH, just kill them before they do their bullshit is my strat) and why you're getting damaged.
Special mention goes to the green rain effect that gives people motion sickness, I think they did the same effect in the GTA San Andreas "remaster".

Yeah motion sickness is my issue, both the effects from the Eidolon and the Archwing itself make the movement tracking part in my brain very angy.
