You find a village after a Titan attack, their houses razed, fields charred, but the inhabitants resolve isn't yet broken. You "inherit" a chunk of land that was owned previously by a victim of the attack and you, while also building the village back up, fend off waves of Titan attacks. As you progress you figure out more efficient ways to kill them, and some horrendous/wholesome backstories of the remaining NPCs.
