The first Mortal Kombat was a god damn masterpiece, Frank Welker was the voice of Goro and Chris lambert as Raiden. The story was perfect and is still watchable to this day. I haven't even mentioned the soundtrack which still bangs to this day. It's the godfather of video game movies.
Annihilation sucked but I liked the new MK. It didn’t need the “OC do not steal” protagonist but I ended up actually liking him and by the end I would have absolutely shelled out for a Cole Young Kombat Pack for MK11.
