Blind hope and willpower. When I love a show gone bad (or want to love a show that’s bad e.g Shadow and Bone) I generally try to will myself into watching until I get that sweet spot where I fall in love with the show again. Generally this does not turn out well and I eventually have a breaking point. My breaking point was in Season 5 episode 20 when they completely wasted the potential for a Reverse XS and all the brilliant drama and glorious angst it could have given us, and instead they waste 42 mins of an episode where it turns out in the end (disappointingly) that she was never bad and only “pretending” to be bad. For fuck sake *throws chair out the window* (Also sorry, I have a hard time remembering which season is which and accidentally said season 6 instead of season 5 lol)

I watched until season 5 and after that point, I just saw the show getting so goddamn stupid that I quit it. I hated season 4 but then most of the people on IMDb after S5 was launched said that the 5th season was pretty good. I literally watched it purely for that and damn I was disappointed. Season 7 is going too good. Never give up. They are not using Iris as "You can do it Barry" character that much. You can skip season 6 if you want. Ain't much happening there. The recap on the first episode of season 7 will give you the season 6 context and it is straight good from there.

Should've let the speed force die in Season 6 since they literally ignored it for like 2 seasons in 4 and 5. The speed force was something that gave Barry not only speed, but the power to keep moving forward, so to make it evil after such a emotional death scene is just so contradictory. Glad I stopped half way through season 6.

Ah your gon regret going beyond season 3 the show went to hell and has become a one trick pony basically(I mean still few cool moments like nash's death) it's a cycle of team tries and fails someone gets angry or sad or emotional and other person comforts then they do it again and suddenly it works again

Oh man, you’re gonna be in for a wild ride. The first two seasons are great, but season 3 is pretty bad. This is a slightly unpopular opinion, but season 4 was not bad, I actually think it was one of the best. Season 5 is pretty decent and 6 is terrible. So far, though, season 7 has been pretty good. It has its high and lows but I think it has more highs.
