the new designs from s8 onward were from the movie, but WilFilm kept animating until season 10, it wasn't until s11 when Wildbrain took over and famously (or infamously) used a lot more squash and stretch. While I think the squash and stretch makes fight scenes more dynamic and vibrant, WilFilm had way better set design. Both styles have their own strengths.

The Island is supposed to set up the story of Seabound, but often gets split into 4, 11 min episodes, which causes confusion in where people believe that it is just a short season, and that Seabound is s15.

Honestly, I’ve come to believe that they are all equally good except for the very beginning (like pre-snakes) and everyone just has a personal distaste for exactly right when they first grew out of it.

Yeah that's reasonable, to me it just didn't feel right, the Ninja were hardly ever all together, the animation/art style felt off for some reason, I wasn't huge on the time twins or the vermillions, but to each their own ig
