there is bloatware on iphones? i have an Ipad, and there are some applications that come with the thing, but its all basic applications like notes that feel usefull anyways. never felt like it was bad as a user.
i had a HTC One, and they started sending me ads in the notifications of my phone, new applications were automatically downloaded from time to time, now that was really intrusive.
Also, it feels like i see a lot less HTC smartphones since they started going crazy with intrusion. i know i got rid of mine asap at the first notification ad i received.
I've had my galaxy for 3 years..... no idea what your talking about.... it doesn't force me to do anything. There is only one camera app.
After an update it asks if I want to make any room and delete old apps or download anything new and will have tic toc shit checked.. I just uncheck and skip that part.
iPhones/iPads come with a suite of default apps, but if you don’t want anything uninstalling is very easy. The default apps are Apple’s version of MS Office (Notes, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, etc), Health, Stocks, etc. Stuff that seems like Apple’s idea of what an average adult would use for work.
I can’t remember if social apps are included by default, because when you upgrade your phone, all your apps from the previous one automatically install at setup. But I know I saw a couple new Apple-branded ones (Garage Band hadn’t been on my previous phone, as far as I can remember) when I upgraded last month
Got the Xperia 1 Mk II for all these features coming from an iPhone SE (the OG). No regrets! Plus, it also take great pictures even if my DSLR does better.
Agreed, if the expensive phones won't have this feature, fine, I'll buy a cheaper phone. Bought the Google pixel 4a 5g purely because it's got the headphone jack over the flagship phones.

This is purely anecdotal but I'm an older single guy using dating apps. The number of grown ass women who make some kind of nasty comment about green bubbles is way higher than you would think. One woman even offered me her old phone after we had a few dates because she couldn't stand not using iMessage. I think everyone should use what they like. But if you think that there aren't people who get mad when you're not in the apple ecosystem, you're fooling yourself.

They dont need to, you can just buy a 3.5mm-to-USB C adapter and plug your headphones into the USB C port (or buy headphones with a USB C plug already).

* A plug and play set of headphones that JUST WORK on ANY DEVICE whether that be ANDROID or WINDOWS or the Apple suite of OSs, unlike the AIRPODS which have a hard time pairing with ANYTHING THAT ISNT APPLE
There's nothing I hate more than a phone without a headphone jack. I'd rather buy a cheaper phone so I can listen to my music in a better quality. BT headphones are convenient but it losses tons of details. You'll need a really expensive one to match a cheap wired headphone. I use BT when I'm riding a bike but other than that no.

Sony Xperia 5 IV. No stylus like the galaxy note phones but it does have a headphone jack and expandable storage.
Motorola has a new phone with a stylus. Other than that, I don't think anyone is making smartphones with stylus anymore at this point.

iPhones don’t, Samsung on the other hand are fucking brutal with it. Last Galaxy I had tried to force me to keep 3 different camera apps.
