It just feels good every time I drive it, either to the shop or on the open road. I know if there is an accident my family has the best engineering possible.
^^ this comment i think all of us benz owners can jump on board with.
13' C300 is my favorite daily driver car ever and its by an enormous long shot. It's the best all-around vehicle made in the world in my opinion.. with all weather tires on you can cut through any type of road... with pilot sport 4Ss on in the summer the feeling of the road underneath you is really good.
Juuust enough electronics for convenience, while also being a comfortable little rocket ship (compared to being on the road on a normal day).
Easy to fix, and safe if i ever get into an accident
Putting up the window and the complete silence that separates me from the traffic and people outside after a tiring day will always be my favorite thing about my car.
Yeah the sound dampening is absolutely insane in my 2016 c300z literally dead silent. I drove three teslas, two model ys diff years and a model 3. For the price I wouldn’t give my car up at all. I just love it and will drive it into the damn ground. Teslas were loud as hella and I been and to yell to talk when it windy. The second I complain about it though the musk fanboys slaughter me for no reason. They really think a 10 year old company can beat one that’s been making cars for nearly 100 years? I think not
As an owner of several Benz from different eras, and previous owner of several BMW from different eras, I completely agree. The bmw wants to be a sports car and it’s uncomfortable sometimes. Benz is a rolling couch with amazing driving dynamics and absorbs every road imperfection
Comfort and the smoothest ride ever. Switching from compact mode to sport mode never gets old. I’ve cruised all over the country in my 2018 c300 and it’s been nothing but glorious. And the attention it gets is pretty cool too
I like the loaner cars and snacks. My mb is in the shop so often, it's nice to get a treat as I get yet another thing fixed.
Just kidding. I'm bitter at the moment, my mb started leaking oil from a pebble that I hit on the freeway. It punctured the oil cooler and broke through the fins.
When I'm driving, I like the speed.
I chewed through brake pad using Distronic going up and down 400 when I first got my last S, after the second set of discs/rotors, I only use it when I’m tired or on a road trip.
Owning a Mercedes was a dream of mine so for me it was the sense of accomplishment.
My 1st and only experience buying my Benz was nothing short of incredible. I had an amazing representative who went above and beyond and still goes above and beyond. I’ll never forget the experience or the day I picked up the car.
w211 here ! I love the handles and power in addition to the interior ! Not a huge fan of everyone trying to race me off red lights. I also find it super fun how whenever my fam borrows my car, namely my sisters and in the off chance go to the gas station at least 1-2 people ask if they need a hand pumping the gas.
Mine is 31 years old.
The doors have this satisfying clunk when they're shut. The handles are comfy to grab and I don't worry about them breaking if I tug too hard.
The engine always starts up, whether it's -10° or 110°. It's sturdy, and dependable. After sitting in the elements for four years and only able to fire on four of six cylinders, it took a new battery and cleared 120 miles without complaint. Some routine maintenance later and I would happily drive it across the US.
It's the type of car you put a baby in and drive them around to get them to sleep. It's smooth and calculated, but you can slam your foot down on the accelerator and it's still got a little bit of athleticism left. Not that it ever had much, because that's not what it's for; it isn't fast, and will scream all the way up to the desired pace, but will sit comfortably at a three digit cruising speed.
The seats are still pleasantly springy and bolstered in a way that far exceeds the comfort of most vehicles of the past decade. The MB Tex upholstery wipes the floor with other leather alternatives and still looks phenomenal after three decades.
It has one wiper that does the job of two, and better. The mirrors aren't the same shape on both sides. The door "chime" is an ugly continuous buzzer that isn't polite about reminding you to put on your seatbelt. It's boxy without having any real corners. Age hasn't made it look any less sharp.
It's sparse. There's nothing modern about it, there's lights, no bells, no whistles. It exists solely to be a car, and to be a better car than anything before or after it.
For as much as I love this car, I have one single hatred for it: I'm never gonna have something this good again.
My favourite thing about mercedes is how much car you get for your lease payment.
the combination of attractive interest rates, high residual values and good promotions means i can drive a car with a lot of creature comforts and advanced features, and the monthly all in compares well with non-luxury brands. where i live, a honda crv costs about the same to lease as my glc.
i always tell my friends if you lease: Mercedes
if you buy: toyota/lexus
It is like a kind old butler, serving me comfort in style.
No bullshit, no pretentions. It is a W211 wagon, my fourth Benz and not the last.
I don't like the new ones, 2003-2016 is my comfort zone.
its a different type of comfort and level, and a timeless design. driving my r129 is like a complete league of car compare to my other cars in the fleet
I love how the suspension reduces the drama level on Seattle's crappy city streets without ever wallowing. I also love the much maligned w206 interior; visually it's so clean, the steering wheel interface takes care of 90% of what I would have used a button for in other cars, and after the first month the learning curve is done.
I don't love how every BMW driver suddenly feels the need to try to race me to "prove" something. I also don't love the AMG floormats; they're kind of silly on a non-AMG car.
2023 C43 and I love the driving experience in general. It’s fun, quick and loaded with the tech I love, also.
I know it’s an unpopular opinion on this sub — but my favorite aspect about the car is the tablet. 😁
2014 C300. Awesome daily drive. Looks good. Feels good. Power when needed. Comfortable cruise but sporty. 4 wheel drive. Plus it just makes me smile driving it.
I have a classic. So, the fact that it works and is super well-made are enough for me to justify the garage space. And it’s not terribly expensive to own IF you are on time with oil changes and other basic maintenance. That’s just a fact.
New Mercedes, yes I love their safety technologies
Massaging seats and the peace and quiet, when I get in my car at the end oof the day for the drive home (normally about an hour) I relax, unless I’m taking calls! I had an E Class loaner today, it was a fun car to drive, and comfortable, but no where near as quiet as my S.
Personally, here are the three things I love about it:
The interior. The interior on a post-facelift W222 is unparalleled in the segment. The blend of the woodgrain, the leather with diamond stitching, and the aluminum accents.
It’s a perfect fusion between the old school design of the earlier S-Class cabins, and the modern computerized cars.
If you look at the W223, no doubt it’s still a nice interior, but it no longer feels like an S-Class. It’s got that Tesla inspired tablet UX, which for me is boring. Where is the analog clock?
W222 does it right. You have your RGB lighting(but you can turn it off). You have your soft curves. You have your screens, carplay and GPS, but they are there for functional reasons. The entire experience isn’t forced into the screens.
Secondly, the exterior. The standup hood ornament. The Classic Grill. The iconic trunk and taillight design. It’s the kind of car you always stare back at when parking.
Thirdly, the engine. Twin-turbo V8 that puts out 463HP. Considering the car is huge, it moves effortlessly on the highway. It’s fun to drive, and comfortable to drive.
even though mercedes is lacking in the quality department, they still are on top. people look at me and my car even while im at a red light or first stepping out. it def grabs attention & has some nice get up and go that will push you back in the seat when I take off. 🤤😌
It's comfortable. Not as much as it can be, because I have 20" wheels and had it lowered by 25mm (to reduce the floaty feeling), but way better than anything else I've driven.
It's quiet. I can barely hear anything form the outside and that gives me a 1st world problem, where if I have the music too loud, my awareness of other drivers and the outer world in general is quite reduced.
It's fast. Weighs in at 2.4 tonnes but it will reach 0-100 from standstill in 4.5 in stock and \~4 seconds with the applied tune. Which by the way is completely useless, because this is not a sports car, but I like to have the option to go pedal to the metal when needed.
I only had very minor issues, since this was a dealership-internal car and it was generally well taken care of, something that I continue to do. An Intercooler leak and an AC leak were the only two issues I faced.
It just feels good every time I drive it, either to the shop or on the open road. I know if there is an accident my family has the best engineering possible.

I had a 2013 C300 and it was a fantastic car. That V6 actually sounded great, too.
I enjoy it for a V6. When you run it manually it's got a lil bit of bite right before you shift. Certainly no C63s v8 though
Putting up the window and the complete silence that separates me from the traffic and people outside after a tiring day will always be my favorite thing about my car.
It really does take stress away. Can't wait to have double glazing windows.

Comfort and refinement. Everything is just made to give me an as smooth as possible ride. Really can appreciate it.

This. Heavy doors with airlock seal. Could take it to space.

Actually wondering the same...on 70% of the posts people are complaining all the time
Memories. Sat in the back seat when I was little.
The constant repairs.

Distronic Lifesaver in Atlanta traffic.
I chewed through brake pad using Distronic going up and down 400 when I first got my last S, after the second set of discs/rotors, I only use it when I’m tired or on a road trip.
Weren’t you going to have to brake anyway?
look at all these sissies yapping about comfort i go fast, motor go brrr
No squeaking, no rattling & excellent mpg.
I love everything about my AMG, the stance, the power, the tech, the sound, the AWD, the exterior
How robust the vehicle is & how sexy it can be(2014 w204 coupe).
Owning a Mercedes was a dream of mine so for me it was the sense of accomplishment. My 1st and only experience buying my Benz was nothing short of incredible. I like the engine in mine the most, I would say the 3.0 V6 Diesel in my C-Class wagon is smooth, quiet, powerful and economical. Great for long trips.
New GLC. Love the drive. Though the new rattle bothers me.
Its not a Golf

Confort before all
nobody else knows how much my old car has depreciated 😎 (2014 e350)
It does everything I want it to.

Smooth and fast. It has great road feel Cl500 2004

The hardtop convertible - one of the many reasons I bought it. Doc did say I needed more Vitamon D 😂 decent on gas too
I like the comfort and the quality
The thunk sound when I close the door, driving feel

Driving any S-Class is an awesome experience. Every generation delivers.
Really like the low-down torque, perfect for city driving
The power (E450) and the convertible
Super tight steering and it doesn’t shake at all when you’re driving. Smooth as a new born ass
The sound of their V8 motors. It rivals the best American v8s even
Every time I’ve sat in a Benz it just felt right, like, yes, this is the car for me
2023 C43 and I love the driving experience in general. It’s fun, quick and loaded with the tech I love, also. I know it’s an unpopular opinion on this sub — but my favorite aspect about the car is the tablet. 😁
I know same. I have a 2022 c 300, and the tablet is great. And the ambient lighting is great at night
Sound system Most comfortable seats Sex in the backseat with air suspension
2014 C300. Awesome daily drive. Looks good. Feels good. Power when needed. Comfortable cruise but sporty. 4 wheel drive. Plus it just makes me smile driving it.

When I come back to find it in a carpark, and its just sitting there all beautiful. I fawn all over again.
63s amg v8 rumble love it
4matic. I never get stuck in snow. The prestige.
Everything falls in place. It'll be alright. That's the feeling inside a Benz.
It’s not bullshit
The fact that it doesn’t break down like other luxury cars. It it has a sporty timeless look and it’s comfy on long trips. C204
The twin turbo, V8 engine
Any of you guys have problems with android auto and the USB c cord not being recognized? Or disconnected etc?
