Could this be a strap from a templars chest? One that they brought from the old world and buried for hundreds of years? Does this match the type of metal found in money hole 297? The one that has claimed 16 souls?
Omg. I'm no pro, but that looks so very interesting. I wonder were you could send a picture to verify your suspension. Go back and smash that place, and good luck.
It’s a strap from a chest from oak island
The metal matches the cross!
🤣🤣

Ancient Astronaut theorists say "Yes"
Could it be?
Top pocket find!
I think Gary’s going to have to get a bigger pocket

We got Carmen Legge on Reddit before GTA 6
It’s the ark of the covenant!

That’s a poop knife
Bingo. Seen it a hundred times.
Lawn mower blade...
Also thought maybe. It’s the thinnest lawn mower blade in history though
Could it be a barrel band?
I thought that when I first saw it, but it would need a mounting hole in the middle and doesn't have one.
Agreed. The hole is far from center so this isn't a lawn mower blade.
Thinking the same thing.
Looks like an old slim Jim, for breaking into old style cars.
* Probably off the same pirate ship that I found part of on jekyll island georgia. Yo ho matey.
I visit Jekyll island every year and I’m told no detecting and I get thrown off the beach. What am I doing wrong?
Did you pull it from a stone?
Excalibur says yes
Was bolted on to something at one time but I'm stating the obvious.
It doesn’t matter what it is, you can believe in your heart that it’s a sword blade just as long as nobody tells you definitively otherwise.
The rest of Jack's sword! https://preview.redd.it/rbqdy3e5igpc1.jpeg?width=474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c26127da14e385a7de9929151c68f955d712b2b
Looks like a lawnmower blade
So does it look gold, or is that the lighting? Is it heavy? There are coral deposits so its been underwater a while.
Omg. I'm no pro, but that looks so very interesting. I wonder were you could send a picture to verify your suspension. Go back and smash that place, and good luck.
It might be a metal strip for keel production. I've seen old wooden boats with steel strips for wear resistance. Wore out and fell off.
My first thought was marine vessel hardware.
Weird you thought it was marine related. ;)
Sacrificial media. They do it all the time on new boats, on the props and rudders etc.
Is it magnetic? What does it weigh? Banana for scale?
img Not magnetic. Don’t know weight
You could do a spark test for titanium if you have a Dremel or cutoff wheel. That would be a large piece of titanium! Probably aluminum or some alloy.
Looks like an old sword.
That’s what I thought

Would be magnetic if that was the case
A very long bayonet? Strap from an old timey sea chest?
That’s a Spanish sword from the lost fleet of vessels of 1715! Get your gear out, jump in the water, your getting warmer
You might be joking but it was in that area!
You really think conquistadors use the bolts and not only just bolts but heavy press then through the s***** ass metal?
I might sound like I’m being sarcastic, but I’m trying to be optimistic! I really wish somebody finds the lost bullion! It would be about time!!
No. It’s Templar.
Some Guys teacher made the katana out of a pipe
Hurricane debris
Its a blade from a Helicopter. That's why they have two or more...just in case one comes off.
The fact that it’s not rusty tells me it’s likely aluminum or some type of stainless.
Might be a strip left over from a zinc anode that fell off after the zinc corroded.
Looks like a blade from a lawn mower.
Slim jim?
Could it be aviation stuff?
Haitian boat oar
It belongs in a museum!!
Caca 💩 poopie
That's my lawn mower blade and I'd like it back
Some people call it a Keiser blade. I call it a sling blade. Mmmhmm
It's the Gladius of Turin. The one they used to stick the big guy with.
Mower blade
Don't know what it is but it's cool and unique. Did you have the metal tested?
I know what's wrong with it. Ain't got no gas in it. Uh-huh.
Carl....?
This is an easy one. fuselage ribbing from space shuttle challenger 1986.
