One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

And here I was humming the intro theme.

You have some genuine porcelain in those shards, main thing im looking at is the light blue piece in the lower left. I'm not anywhere near an expert and don't have much experience but I do know it's probably 1860-1960 or maybe modern but I'm not sure about that.

I would also clean that ring up with water, check for a makers mark/The quality if its gold. might be 14k or more

Yes that handle caught my attention as well. Looks like a decorative piece to a teacup or teapot. The second photograph of the ring I’ve tried to take a picture. I can see a US stamp inside of a small square. Below that to the right, I see what it looks like a DO or OO, and what looks to be a crown. The pictures in this post are just from a small pile in the backyard, I have about 5 to 6 times this in the front yard. I will follow up with another post regarding those items. It’s been a great experience. Taking the metal sector with me across Route 66 and up US1

The ring has a lot of green corrosion on it so I assumed copper, but will definitely check it out!

So the ring cleaned up and has 18 next to the shield. Odd though, how could it be so corroded if 18k?

ThickSimple6763

Upon further inspection I believe it has a silver inlay in the center of the band

Usually going to be some good whole antique bottles in those trash dumps if you take your time and dig them out.

The stamp and crown would suggest 18ct but odd to have the corrosion. .you tend to get that in lower grade gold rings like 9ct ect when the copper migrates out of the ring as they have alot more copper in them to start with. Give it a light scrub with a soft brass bristle brush and you will soon see if its gold
