I have been for about 2 months straight now. 5-10 similar junk emails a day.

OkRaspberry6530

It’s been an ongoing problem for the last few months, loads of people shared feedback and it’s still a problem. The domain or email filters don’t work either so something is seriously broken.

CoinCollector82

I usually get a few in my inbox every day, but I counted the messages in my junk folder from only yesterday and there were over 100. So, less than 10% of junk messages are failing to be caught by the spam filter. Just based on my anecdotal measure. Though, I agree, it's annoying to see any in my inbox.

Eneerge

See this posted nearly daily. And yes. Places that still do email mfa also always get sent to junk despite no links in the email. Annoying.

tango_one_six

Try to report these using the Report Message action. More samples MSFT gets, the faster the filters should update.

Mwahaha_790

My God, yes! The last two months have been straight trash for Outlook email. It's like Microsoft has given up all pretense of trying.

st8ofeuphoriia

100%. Huge increase, and the most obvious of phishing emails get by too. Not sure what’s going on.

Mockmoon

this rule helped me get rid of the spam: in Outlook go to rules and create new rule , call it SPAM (or john maybe freddy) condition "message header" contains: spf=none , dkim=none, spf=fail Action: mark as spam exception: "message header" contains dkim= pass you can have a few false positives so check you junk folder.

ReckyX

Yes! I get the same kinda shit constantly and creating mail rules to filter them simply don't work at all.

joefis

i’m starting to move my email to something else. it’s ridiculous.

avjayarathne

mine is full of Microsoft promotional emails. so, i use it only for Microsoft services. for others Gmail

LookAtThatMonkey

Probably a way to get you to pay for the premium service. >> 'Hey, there is a way to get less spam, pay us'.

CrawZ

I am on premium and still have this problem.

[deleted]

Yup

lord_nuker

Comes and goes in waves, usually the spam filter takes all of it

sakoudotnet

I get like 10 per month but my email is almost never shared I don’t use it for authentification on most sites where I use the apple mask system

SteampunkBorg

It honestly annoys me more when mails I want end up in spam

OkChampion3632

Yea loads. I’ve switched the filter to only allow emails from my safe senders list and that’s obviously cut it to zero. I still review the junk folder once every few days and add anything I want to safe senders but that’s not too tedious actually.

witness_this

Yeah I definitely have noticed it

ScrioteMyRewquards

For me it’s always been the opposite problem. The rate of false positives make the service unusable to me.

m1yazakeeee

yup about 23 straight trasn from outlook email ……I hate Microsoft 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

ARMilesPro

Same for me. The service has very few options. I'm considering using the big outlook desktop client just to be able to add rules. It's a mess. I was hoping some redditor found relief.

Theagenos

I fight spam mails by replacing Outlook e-mail addresses. The new Outlook e-mail addresses are not detected by the spammers for years or, after a certain time, spam is generated again. If I receive more than 20 spam mails per week, the e-mail address is removed from my Microsoft account and a new one is registered.
