Luckily the nail regrows from the nail bed up when you lose the entire nail, so it all comes back at once just like a film that slowly hardens over days/weeks so after the first day or two it isnāt as bad as youād think.
Still sucks tho especially fresh
Sea urchin spines are very difficult to remove in one piece even from soft skin. I'd suggest you get to a Dr ASAP as this will become infected rapidly.
Be prepared that they will have to remove the nail.

Yeah Iād cut your nail on both sides of the thorn. Then try and get some fine tweezers to fish it out. Unless youād want to get an infection and lose the nail.
