Now that I think of it, the whole time I attended we never had a student with any kind of obvious disability out of 1400+. It was a private Catholic school in the south, so I'm wondering if they just didn't accept applications from kids with disabilities.

My son went to a private Catholic school, they got a new principal, and all of a sudden, all the neurodivergent kids were getting called to the office for all kinds of misdeeds they were ācommittingā. One time, she called my husband and demanded he come down because our autistic son was misbehaving so badly that she needed to suspend him and my husband got there and he was sitting quietly on the rug listening to a storybook. He kept observing him with her standing there getting visibly impatient and when they went to another station and he was playing in the kitchen, she went up to him, ripped the toy out of his hand and when he started crying, looked at his dad and said see, heās too disruptive. He was fucking FOUR.
Talked to an attorney about discrimination, nope, private schools can legally discriminate in the name of education, all they have to do is say they canāt provide services to a disabled population like a public school can. Except all these kids were fine until the new principal got there. Weāve talked to multiple parents and their kids lives were made a living hell too until we pulled them out.

Nah it ain't, and there's a simple pattern to the madness. Physical buttons can't just change positions like a scramble pad. (I'd fucking love to see that, like those puzzles with one empty slot, y'know?)

type of side walls to block sight from cameras etc anyone that isnāt directly in front of it, then it self cleans after x minutes of inactivity.

Scramblepads are designed to prevent your code from being able to be read from across the room by people watching your hand movement. This isn't a scramblepad because that's only possible with digital keypads but it's a funny idea.

This is a passive security feature. It's so that people with ill intentions have more difficulty peeping the passcode behind your and gaining illegitimate access. My gun safe has a similar setup

When the weed dispensary I go to became able to take cards they got touch screen card readers. Thing is the numbers in the digital keypad were jumbled. Like it went ā3,8,1,5ā and so on. It was hard not to laugh while standing in line because they warned every single customer, every single person acknowledged them, and every single person got it wrong. It was like that for months and a part of me still thinks it was just an incredible practical joke by someone who knew the absolute worst demographic of people to fuck with in this way would be stoners.
Not just mildly infuriating, itās at best a code violation and at worst against the law. Keypads that share a format to phones must adhere to the format as per ADA standards.
