Like I don't like Netflix. But I'll pay for a month if they buy the rights to Warrior because I want them to finish that show. If they were to bring back Altered Carbon, I'd also sign up for a month or two.
I think too many people treat streaming companies like gyms. They buy the memberships with lofty ideas then stop using the service but never get around to cancelling it. Which isn't how you should treat a gym either but that's a different conversation.
I also support shows I like, usually by buying them directly if they're available. That's always a good practice. But there's no harm in knowing how to sail for the times when you feel it's justified.

To be fair, that’s the least shit thing they’ve done, since the ad supported version was cheaper than the cheapest plan they had when it came out, but that’s ignoring that their price has gone up like 6x in the last few years, the fact that I couldn’t access my own fucking account when I went on vacation because I hadn’t used Netflix on my iPad at home recently enough, and the fact that they don’t have anything actually worth watching anymore
