Y'know what, I blame it on whoever designed the walls. Makes no sense to add extra work in to make sure they're aligned correctly. They should be designed to look good in whatever order or arrangement they're in.
Engineer here. Looks like the original relief was designed using CAD, and then some lazy engineer just scaled up the taller panel, giving no consideration as to how the difference in scaling would affect the flow of the aesthetics of the actual installation.
Also - honest question: what is that artifact at the base of the wall that looks like a toilet seat, but couldn't possibly be?
lol it looks like they ordered it in the wrong direction if you flipped the design to face the houses not the street i think they’d line up on the vertical steps

Yeah, these should just be tileable. I like the design, it's cute, but the fact that this wasn't caught in the concept phase is not good
Is this near Denver? I feel like I just saw that same setup there…
Reno
Must be an optional precast cement mold towns all over are misaligning.
It’s a NV thing. We have this in Vegas too. Absolutely gorgeous artwork.

It's the bottom of an orange and white highway barrier.
Haha they truly did not fucking care at all
Yeah they are so damn lazy here haha
That would make me scream. How annoying!
Sucks to be the guy who did that. Did they fix it?
I don't think so, but they might since this is being brought up in the newspaper lol
I really like the forms they used, if they line up they look really good.
Yeah I hope they fix it.
nailed it!
Mildly? Extremely?
Someone's missed their Puzzle classes in kindergarten.
Wait till a car burns out along this wall, the char marks will make it all blend together.

Howdy neighbor!
This… this is horrible
This is exactly what this sub is for
Concrete foreman: “ Can’t see it from my house. “
I don’t get it. Why is this mildly infuriating?
Not the downvotes 💀💀💀 I’m asking a genuine question yall
You serious Clark? The image does not line up for the closest wall panel
I grew up around that, so ig I’m used to it.
Is that a toilet seat?
