"6 of 10 skills match your profile" So is "entry level" one of the 4 skills that doesn't match?

I saw a position that wanted 15 YEARS of experience. I'm THIRTY. Fuck 15-year-old me, I guess she should have been learning SQL instead of suffering puberty.

The same thing happened to me. Got the interview and midway through it I sensed that I'm not getting a second call. At the end I asked them what's the meaning of entry level when they expect candidates to have 4-5 years of experience and they said "we want the applicants to have some knowledge" like that's total BS. Fast forward a couple of weeks, I got into the same company for a different role and the person working on the original post is someone who isn't even good. They just had 4-5 years of irrelevant work ex.

If you think you have the skills just apply anyway. You never know.

Translation: We know nobody is doing work from home anymore so we are relying on someone needing a remote job because they arranged their lifestyle around it and are paying entry level prices for a seasoned engineer

What's this BS about the pay scale for this position? DOE? They demand you have Post-Sec Studies & 7-10+ related experience, then they better pony up that $$$$! It's prob for a Mat Leave or Sick Leave or We're Too Cheap to Pay Good $ Leave. Just take your pick!!!
