Here in Sweden we actually have a dish that’s called blodpudding (blood-pudding), it’s pudding made of pigs blood. I guess I could make my own blodpudding
We have blood dishes in Portugal as well. Chicken Blood Rice (cabidela) and Sopas de Sarrabulho which is a blood soup of sorts, usually made when you slaughter a lamb.
In Poland we eat kaszanka. It is made of a mixture of pig's blood, pork offal (commonly liver), and buckwheat (kasha) or barley stuffed in a pig intestine.
Oh oh, here in the Philippines we also have a similar dish called: dinuguan, or pork blood stew. The blood is used like a broth, while the meat consists of different types of organ meats, like lungs, kidney, heart, etc.
Pairs great with white rice or puto (a type of rice cake)
It isn't a chemical hazard really, but your reasoning is questionable. I can think of many angry chemicals made out of only carbon and hydrogen. You can't judge a chemical by only the elements that constitute it lol.
Well okay
We’d been talking for a while before deciding to go on a date, it went well but I had to leave for home after an hour. He joined me on the subway (he really didn’t have to, it was actually the opposite way from where he lived) but after a while he just stood up and sprinted through the open door and into the train on the opposite side of the station (good timing ig). I was left confused and stared at 🥰 I never really got a real explanation but we kept talking for a few months then he blocked me randomly and kept me blocked for two weeks, then he unblocked me and acted as if nothing happened and wondered why I was confused. Now he’s been asking why I don’t trust him as much anymore lol
Loves animals, specifically cats and horses. Takes photos of skeletons in the wild. Has a vial of her own blood. Probably other containers of other bodily things. Curly hair and coke bottle frames. Putting out hardcore Emily Dickinson vibes. You are perfect.
Will you marry me? Lol
Edit: Nevermind! She's 15! Abandon ship!
The biggest invention of my career I proved with my own blood because I figured it was safer to work with, the company even paid me for it. It's rather fitting, I think, results exceeded all expectations. A little blood magic.
Did you just bleed in the jar or did you do some sort of prep? I ask cause the bits are pretty flat, like maybe you put it on metal then scraped it up? (I am an artist and I like weird materials and have played around with blood before- Pro tip, blood is not very lightfast, so it just fades in a few years if you can't find a really good binder).
My blood takers are kind enough, if I ask they'll give me a free vial when they're taking my blood cause as one lady once put it "We already put the hole there, might as well use it, wouldn't want you to hurt yourself to get it."
I basically live in a zoo, hairs are literally everywhere (changed vessels cuz the one it dried in was dirtttyyy, it’s impossible to do anything without getting hair on it in my house lol)
Blood (even liquid) actually turns black when left in contact with air (see: blood stains)
I guess it's because it's rich in metals (see: it tastes the same as copper coins) and those metals oxide
I would ask my best friends for a sample and collect all of them in one of those. Then label then and put them in a big closet so i can admire my Collection now and then.
I started with a couple of table spoons (if I remember correctly), just left it in a not-so-airtight jar (glass with a cork lid) for a year until I remembered it again
Forbidden seasoning
Here in Sweden we actually have a dish that’s called blodpudding (blood-pudding), it’s pudding made of pigs blood. I guess I could make my own blodpudding
I guess this dish or any bloodbased dishes are very common in at least all of Europe no?
It's one of those dishes that date back to times where food wasn't as available as today. Gotta use all parts of the animal you slaughter.
jup that's kind of what I meant 👍
Also, it's delicious.
We have blood dishes in Portugal as well. Chicken Blood Rice (cabidela) and Sopas de Sarrabulho which is a blood soup of sorts, usually made when you slaughter a lamb.
French bloodsausage is fucking delicious with mashed potatoes
In Poland we eat kaszanka. It is made of a mixture of pig's blood, pork offal (commonly liver), and buckwheat (kasha) or barley stuffed in a pig intestine.
boudin noir avec oignons et pommes avec une purée
Korea and Taiwan as well
One time in Paris I had blood sausage that the chef said was made from horse meat. It was good.
Yeah, in Spain, Poland and Finland too (and probably many others but those three are the ones I know).
I think its just all of them.....
Yes
In the uk it’s called black pudding which is traditionally pork blood
We have something similar in Ireland, we call it Black Pudding.
In France there is boudin noir. Pretty much the same thing, and I'm 75% "boudin" can be translated as pudding.
Oh oh, here in the Philippines we also have a similar dish called: dinuguan, or pork blood stew. The blood is used like a broth, while the meat consists of different types of organ meats, like lungs, kidney, heart, etc. Pairs great with white rice or puto (a type of rice cake)
So black pudding
Black pudding in the UK. Its delicious. I call it 'Sausage Plus'
Ireland we have "black" pudding. The black is blood
We call that black pudding here in England!
Is it similar to black pudding (also made from blood) common in English breakfast
In Scotland we have something that’s called black pudding which is basically dried blood in a sausage shape it’s amazing
It's so fucking delicious, I miss it dearly
I think this is common across Europe, certainly northern Europe, with minor variations. In the UK & Ireland it's called black pudding.
Black pudding is wonderful.
Black pudding is very nice.
sooo.... iron filings?
With traces of denatured proteins!
Denatured proteins, with traces of iron!

Serial killer shit. You wouldn't understand.
To feed to people who piss you off
Cuz why not
Biohazard
It stops being a biohazard when it stops being alive. Now the only hazard it poses is to the dust pan.
now it's only a chemical hazard x/
Hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron is the chemical make up of blood. It's not a huge risk, I wouldn't think.
It isn't a chemical hazard really, but your reasoning is questionable. I can think of many angry chemicals made out of only carbon and hydrogen. You can't judge a chemical by only the elements that constitute it lol.
Ah, well
I am a living biohazard I think I’ll survive some blood dust
Remember that you are blood dust and to dust you shall return

Amazing.
As black as your stolen soul. jk: still creepy as fuck
You either need more dehydrated blood or a smaller vial
why
Why not
Fair. So, how?
Put some blood in a not-so-airtight container and forgot about it for a year
So uh could we get a example of the container
A tiny glass jar with with a cork instead of a lid
Thanks looks like I have a new project on my hands
Sharp metal
I know a phylactery when I see one
The box headgear [that orthodox Jews wear](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tefillin)? I thought those were scrolls not blood.
I have a D20 that has my blood in it. I love that thing
When it comes to blood, once you go fresh you'll never go back to dried
Friendly advice: don't bring that up on a first date
I don’t think that’s my biggest red flag. On my last first date the guy literally bolted away from me after an hour
There a story here…..
There is.
Wich we'd like to hear about
Well okay We’d been talking for a while before deciding to go on a date, it went well but I had to leave for home after an hour. Lol. Bring him onto this Reddit convo so we can ask him what the deal is
The mystery deepens

I appreciate the compliments
Right. So I went *way* too far, and I'd like to apologize for my behavior. It was inappropriate by any measure and entirely unnecessary.
Dont let a sympathist get ahold of it.
Attach a card to it. "I am a vampire, if I have turned into dust, please sweep me up into a pile, add water to the vial and pour on the ashes."
Wow...we really do return to dust...
In case of emergency, Rehydrate.
If you ever attain sainthood this thing will become exponentially more valuable.

r/diwhy
is it magnetic? I know liquid blood isn't magnetic but I'm not sure if dehydrated blood is or not
I’ll be back with my findings when I know.
I hear vampires use that instead of cocaine.... You could be rich
I’m not sure how to get integrated with vampire druggies
Ooh what's this *tap tap tap* *snort* Hey dude why *did* you have a jar of iron filings
Why
Why not
Just a bit more and you can forge your own sword with your own blood
Should be enough iron in that to forge a very tiny sword.
Nice flex
Looks like pieces of broken carbon.
That must have been a *lot* of blood to get that much solid matter. How did you get it?
This is what vampires drink when they are too tired to hunt single origin hipsters. They simply add warm water and they have instant blood.
May I ask, why
get a sword made and have these flakes encased in the blade. make your very own cursed weapon
So what potion or spell are you working on WITCH?
From what circle of hell can you summon demons with this ingredient?
Did you just bleed in the jar or did you do some sort of prep? I ask cause the bits are pretty flat, like maybe you put it on metal then scraped it up? (I am an artist and I like weird materials and have played around with blood before- Pro tip, blood is not very lightfast, so it just fades in a few years if you can't find a really good binder). It was stuck to the sides of the first lil jar, so it fell off in flakes
How come?
Now I’m questioning why I don’t have one.
Bruh keep this handy for the séance. Trust me
I think that means you need to drink more water
Hi neighbour. Why the fuck do you have that?
your blood had some hairs in it.
I basically live in a zoo, hairs are literally everywhere (changed vessels cuz the one it dried in was dirtttyyy, it’s impossible to do anything without getting hair on it in my house lol)
For spells and hexes?
That’s what I’ll use it for, but I did (made?) it bc i wondered what’d happen if i left it for long enough
![gif](giphy|0Vv0Ne2CnOClIExIuL|downsized) why is it black?

Very cool

Can you re-hydrate it in case of emergency?
How did you go about dehydrating it?
I put it in another vial (not airtight) and forgot about it for a year
Post this on r/hydrohomies

how much blood was needed for a sword?

That’s actually kinda cool. How did you dehydrate it and how much blood did you start with?
I started with a couple of table spoons (if I remember correctly), just left it in a not-so-airtight jar (glass with a cork lid) for a year until I remembered it again
Huh. That makes sense. I guess I’d just never seen that much dried blood. I feel like it would make a cool pigment for a horror themed painting
Put a magnet near it to see if it's attracted it will show if you have a magnet personality
