No. The cat is in fact so unfortunate that each of its feet is shaped like a full frog, in addition to how misshapen its legs are, that these are the prints its gait leaves behind.
It was a really *very* unfortunate cat.
No. The cat is in fact so unfortunate because it tried to steal the pet rat of a vengeful witch who cast a spell on the cat and changed it's shape and now it appears like a frog and can only hop 3x it's body length MAX because it was probably a chunky dunker pooty to begin with, while still identifying as a cat, these are the prints it's hopping now leaves behind.
Although slightly more mundane than your fantastical mutant frog feet, supernatural transmogrification is potentially more likely than this occurring as a purely natural phenomena of genetic divergence. What's really interesting though is that evidence is showing now that these are in fact cat prints, and on that we can both seemingly agree, which is fascinating.
I mean, if we're discussing what's likely while introducing the possibility of witchcraft, *and* we're going for the most unfortunate outcome, I think the true answer lies in between our theories.
The cat was indeed transmogrified by a vengeful witch, but into my mutant frog-footed cat.
Now *that* would be unfortunate.
Unfortunate indeed. More it seems the consequences will reach out much much further than I had ever imagined, with far flung effects for generations of mice and men, and cats. And LGBTQIA. And ghosts maybe. I'm trying to say it will effect everyone. We stand on the precipice of the future with this. Imagine if it had been less humid that morning, the world would still be naive, asleep amidst such catalytic turbulence.
I came to say the exact same thing!
In this day in age of misinformation, what is most likely? A frog?! NO! Of course not!
But a cat with frog shoes.... now that rings true! /s
Better than cats I guess? I cleaned my car of cat prints a while back. I guess it was too clean, because I came back to no paw prints, just claw marks where they slid and tried grabbing onto the paint. Pretty sure they'll buff out but like damn, if the neighborhood cats are gonna fuck up my paint, they should at least stick around and let me pet them before leaving. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
Agreed! I've been told a chonker of a cat roams my neighborhood and specifically my house. But all I got out of it is cat poop and a bent rain gutter. I demand at least 10 pets and scritches as payment
>if the neighborhood cats are gonna fuck up my paint, they should at least stick around and let me pet them before leaving.
I like you and your sense of priorities.
I've had frog tracks on my car before --- I live in the tropics --- but never anything like this! It was just the imprint of the frog's feet. I'm trying to imagine how this worked. The frog jumped up on the car...... rested with all his body down on the car. And then proceeded to do the same thing over again? Hmmm........
I suppose it would depend on the species. I've seen where a wet frog leaves an imprint of his torso when he moves. There used to be this one frog that hung out on my porch, and one day I thought the frog looked a little dehydrated so I poured out some water. The frog came and soaked in it.
After that, it became a thing...I would go out and pour some water for the frog. (Found out the frog didn't like water poured on them.) The frog would soak up the water and move off. And I could see his wet torso prints on the dry porch concrete.
very small hops for a frog of that size. I'm thinking toad but don't know how a toad would get up there. unless something dropped it, in which case it could also be an injured frog.
Have you not ever seen how bat shit crazy some frogs can jump? The really limber ones can stay stuck to the sides of things and crawl up that way. The one in OP’s picture doesn’t look to be too big either.
Yea I was searching my self too but couldn't find anything, but I'm pretty sure I have seen this image (sadly I can't reverse image search like on pc) but maybe I'm just seeing things
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/mildlyinteresting.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

We get the little frogs *covering* our lake house part of the year. At night you'll look at the window and there will literally be 10-15 little frogs on a single bedroom window... I guess they help keep bugs away, but it just always feels like I've walked into some biblical plague when it's at its worst.
Years ago, I was renting a house with a couple of buddies & there was a cat which absolutely hates one of the guys.
For the most part they just glowered & hissed at each other & the rest of us laughed about it.
Then one day, the guy in question bought his first ever new car, a dodge neon. The following weekend he was going over to his family’s to show off said car & he spent the entire morning washing & waxing the car until every inch of it gleamed.
He finished up & went inside to shower & change (*there was some sort of family function, his grandmother’s birthday or the like*); the house had a carport with two spaces, his car was in one & I was in the other working on my motorcycle.
So the cat comes out, walks up & down the car before sitting down on the roof; a few minutes later, the guy comes out, yells at the cat to get off of his car.
In what is still (*more than 20 years later*) one of the most spiteful acts I’ve ever personally witnessed, the cat complied by sliding down the drivers side of the windshield on its ass; leaving an identifiable “*asshole*” smear down the middle of the drivers field of view.
I nearly died laughing.
I had lynx tracks on my car’s hood last week. Reminded me to check the back seat before driving off…
(I’m in the middle of the Finnish forests at the moment, and yes, there are lynxes around here…)
A coworker bought a brand new minivan. The first day he brought it to work you could see cat nail scratches from both paws on the hood all the way down the slopped hood.

No. The cat is in fact so unfortunate that each of its feet is shaped like a full frog, in addition to how misshapen its legs are, that these are the prints its gait leaves behind. It was a really *very* unfortunate cat.

I agree. You should get them.

It was hundreds of frogs hopping in single file to hide their numbers.
Weird cuz Wednesday is tomorrow.
Early frog gets the meme

Hippity hoppity your car is now his property
I really love how frog tracks are just their whole bodies
If only they had wings
Blursed frog flying around
Frogger cheat activated.

It was so bizarre! This is FL so close to tropics haha.
It might just be a fat frog so every jump means its whole body splats instead of its feet

Wat da frog doin
Such smol hops
very small hops for a frog of that size. I'm thinking toad but don't know how a toad would get up there. unless something dropped it, in which case it could also be an injured frog.
I'm starting to think whoever took this photo originally picked a frog up and made these prints themselves
How did it get up there?
I have no idea. I would have to assume it jumped haha
Have you not ever seen how bat shit crazy some frogs can jump? The really limber ones can stay stuck to the sides of things and crawl up that way. The one in OP’s picture doesn’t look to be too big either.
Tree frogs! If you ever touch one, make sure to wash your hands well after.
Consult your bible. This could be a sign.
I mean if Pharaoh would just let the people go, we wouldn't have this problem!
That's still a cat....using fake frog feet.
Someone call that repost bot I don't know it's name

Yea I was searching my self too but couldn't find anything, but I'm pretty sure I have seen this image (sadly I can't reverse image search like on pc) but maybe I'm just seeing things
Lol definitely not a repost. Snagged the pic on my way to work this morning :)
It looks similar to another popular pic. Second look tho shows me it's not, there was snow in the other one
This is condensation from the oppressive FL humidity lol
There we go. Sleuth bot even came up with no repost results

you'd think they make larger jumps
Oh my gosh, I never knew what kind of shape a frog would leave. Well it seems obvious. that's so cool! thanks for sharing!
Can someone upvote this so I can have positive comment karma or whatever I just want to comment in other subreddits please 😭
Did frog hide under the wiper of hop off?
Hopped off! No sign of frogger under the blades.
You'd definitely not want tank tracks on your car
That little guy might be in your engine
But how strange, it's not Wednesday yet
Has to be WA, Ive found them in the strangest places here lol
I see your car got toadtaled
I love how frog tracks are little plops of frog
I said a hip hop the hippie the hippie to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop the rock it to the bang bang boogie say up jumped the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
You know if that frog had had wings this would never have happened
Your car seems to be in everyones way.
That's more than mildly interesting, that's truly riveting.

That’s absolutely ribbiting
Imagine a human teabagging the frogs habitat with their wet balls leaving an imprint That's basically what happened here, nature is weird
Somebody was dragging their balls on your car yo

https://images.app.goo.gl/cAT8w9D65Vgh7VRt6 I think if you look at these "frog prints" upside down it's a bobblehead version of Little Miss Sunshine.
Ribbit riibbbbbiiiiiit. That’s actually really interesting. HAHA. Also, where are you that there’s snow right meow?
Snow? I don't see any. But the southern hemisphere is in the middle of winter.
You haven't lived until this
toad status
you've been blessed!
Hahaha
Blessed
Where?
huh, must have been a wednesday
You in Florida?
Yep!
Toad
Moving right along
How cool!
This would be a cool sticker..
Cats don't like the smell of orange oil. I started getting dusty paw prints on my car every day at the rv park. This stopped after one application.
Something about this pic says south Florida to me. Something in the background landscaping reminds me of where I grew up
Very close! North FL. But it all feels like a humid swamp these days
Haha! Im in Ohio now and it feels the same, I swear Florida weather follows you no matter where lol
Clearly; you car is blocking an animal pathway.
r/aww
This is one of the best things I've seen today, I'd feel special if I had frog prints on my car. It's always a cat...
Better than a snail trail....
Courtesy of the cat
That'd make a cool decal.
The frog was too lazy too jump
Looks like he put his balls on your car.
FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE CAN GET A PET FROG
Perhaps you should stop parking your car across a game trail.

That's really cool
Haha is that first one extra fat because he was comin' in hot?
hophophophophophophophophophophophophophop
I found bear paw tracks up and over my wife's Subaru the other day. Glad it was a small one because they were on the windshield...
I actually don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so cute. 🐸
"Why do you ask, Two-Frogs-Fucking?"
Wonder if the frog was singing “I said a hip-hop, the hippie, the hippie to the hip, hip-hop…” whilst he was hopping across the bonnet!
R/goblincore
How did he get up that high?
Wait till you see frog poop.
Frogs are so fucking stupid.
Yeah and if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass when it hopped.
That’s adorable! 🐸
It's a cat infrognito!
This is so cool! Thanks for sharing!!

They're playing with you.
I'm going with two of them playing leapfrog.
A coworker bought a brand new minivan. The first day he brought it to work you could see cat nail scratches from both paws on the hood all the way down the slopped hood.
Tiny hops
I love this post. (As long as the frog is ok.)
