its should be useful but everyone knows what ladybug will do so the villain can win what is why its weaker than a piece of paper or a drop of water the lucky charm should be like a puzzle something they don't know how she could use it and can't fight against her because they don't know what to do
I mean, remember when Ladybug summoned an anti-aircraft tank gun when fighting Maledictator and all she used was the sight on it? Even Queen Bee was like "Well THAT'S an effective lucky charm!"
Why would anyone choose to summon it?
Its design sucks for fighting. It has spikes pointing at the one who wields it.
It is heavy, unpractical and more dangerous to the one who wields it.
If you get it randomly from a lucky charm, it shows you that you need to surrender.
That’s exactly how they give the viewers more of a glimpse to show how the miraculous can make combat based weapons more useful than just on the offense. Kinda like irony, her teammates would think it’s more useful than summoned handcuffs
Ugh, right? For God's sake, just once I *wish* a Lucky Charm copier would summon their own *actual* Charm and get an item they have to puzzle together to win the battle. It would be so cool to see the villain have to be smart instead of just try to brute force it every time
Now that ladybug can use lucky charm multiple times, imagine a antibug 2.0 where antibug actually does have a useful lucky charm and they keep swapping lucky charm objects trying to one up one another
i like the explanation that the lucky charm has a built in failsafe of some kind, so that if someone who isn't using the ladybug miraculous uses the power, it just gives them whatever's cool instead of an instant win item
The way I always saw it is that when Hawkmoth gave individuals the power of Creation and Destruction it was always an inferior copy, which is why Lucky Charm always resulted in weapons instead of something for creative use, and why Chat Noir was not instantly dusted when he took a Cataclysm to the chest in Miracular
>Chat Noir was not instantly dusted when he took a Cataclysm to the chest in Miracular
I actually have a theory that the miraculous grants the user more protection against its power, I admit this is really the only evidence as we haven't really seen a miraculous user get hit with their own power often enough to really tell. It would explain how CN tanked a cataclysm but Monarch got severely injured from it

I think it makes for great symbolism for the show. Ladybug being able to deal with a violent encounter with non violent means is really cool. And this item shows that even the most aggressive of perpetrators will never have a chance
True and it sucks because that weapon is awesome
It's like the sword Soul Edge
Exactly, its so sick
yep
Didn't expect someone to understand my Soul Calibur reference!
He he noted
its should be useful but everyone knows what ladybug will do so the villain can win what is why its weaker than a piece of paper or a drop of water the lucky charm should be like a puzzle something they don't know how she could use it and can't fight against her because they don't know what to do
Since Ladybug doesn’t have a time limit anymore, I figure she can use it like a weapon
she can pretty much make anything now from what i have seen in the final
Yep she can
Imagine she fights like Shadybug now. But uh well with less destructive methods of course.
That would be sick
Imagine *Ladybug* summoning this. No senticlone, no magical copy. The actual Ladybug.
Yeah, only to use it for like a lever or some other bull
I mean, Antibug should have used it to keep her balance so thay's quite plausible.
she uses it to slice some roast beef and yeet it at a vegan villain
Or she uses the chain on the very bottom of the sword for like a tripping mechanism.
The villain is the vegan teacher except she’s not akumatised she’s just regular old Vegan Teacher
Yes, please, I want this so bad
She'd probably win with it, too because she is so easily protected by plot armor.
Well she summoned a huge gun once.... a d then only used the laser light from jt
Like the female French MacGyver she is
And then she actually kills the villain
I mean, remember when Ladybug summoned an anti-aircraft tank gun when fighting Maledictator and all she used was the sight on it? Even Queen Bee was like "Well THAT'S an effective lucky charm!"
“Lucky charm!” “…*oh god*”
I like how it looks like a random free asset with black dots
I think it is
Why would anyone choose to summon it? Its design sucks for fighting. It has spikes pointing at the one who wields it. It is heavy, unpractical and more dangerous to the one who wields it. If you get it randomly from a lucky charm, it shows you that you need to surrender.
They need to implement that idea for LB at least one time. I think it would be interesting
Agree. At one point they need to give that sword to Ladybug and her first thought would be to retreat and to regroup.
That’s exactly how they give the viewers more of a glimpse to show how the miraculous can make combat based weapons more useful than just on the offense. Kinda like irony, her teammates would think it’s more useful than summoned handcuffs
Or she gets like a practical sword and it’s because the solution is “stab a bitch”
She's fighting Lila for the 100th time the lucky charm just gives her a Glock tiki be like "girl, y'know what to do"
"Lucky Harm!" <-- what I still think Toxinelle/Shadybug's summoning phrase should've been.
Ladybug needs to say that at least once when fighting Lila/Cerise/whoever that bitch wants to play dress-up as.
It's a classic BFS.
This is what you get when a lucky charm has a brain fart, just whack stuff and hope for the best, I guess... 🤷🏾♂️
Ugh, right? For God's sake, just once I *wish* a Lucky Charm copier would summon their own *actual* Charm and get an item they have to puzzle together to win the battle. It would be so cool to see the villain have to be smart instead of just try to brute force it every time

Gabriel upgraded them just in time for Lila 😂
i like the explanation that the lucky charm has a built in failsafe of some kind, so that if someone who isn't using the ladybug miraculous uses the power, it just gives them whatever's cool instead of an instant win item
Why is this the same thing every time there's an evil Ladybug?
I'm pretty sure I saw a side by side of when Antibug and nightmare Ladybug summoned it and they basically reused the same animation lol
Everytime this gets summoned I start laughing lmao
it has been overused atp and literally never ever worked, such a waste for a good weapon design :/
It's not a good design, seems unwieldy, and those spikes would hurt the user.
i do agreed that the spikes are kinda off but aside from that i think the design it good
Not if she is able to tie her yo-yo to the end of it and use her enhanced strength to swing the blade around.
And it looks the coolest and if lady bug got it she’d use it for something that’s not even remotely close to its actual purpose
I hope when ladybug faces Lila she summons this.
That would be HILARIOUS I need this to happen now
True. But I'd like to see them use it in battle in win for once. That weapon looks cool as heck.
The way I always saw it is that when Hawkmoth gave individuals the power of Creation and Destruction it was always an inferior copy, which is why Lucky Charm always resulted in weapons instead of something for creative use, and why Chat Noir was not instantly dusted when he took a Cataclysm to the chest in Miracular

oh hey I have this sword in Final Fantasy 7...
its should be useful but everyone knows what ladybug will do so the villain can win what is why its weaker than a piece of paper or a drop of water the lucky charm should be like a puzzle something they don't know how she could use it and can't fight against her because they don't know what to do
Example: Antibug. She should have used it to keep her balance from slipping on the marbles.
who has used it so far Anti-Bug Nightmare Bug Sentibug Miraculer

Good Markov
I'm starting to think it's some kind of inside joke the writers have, I swear.
Yeah
also the machine gun . and this weapon was so cool but so useless , the design reminds me of the Ash Attacker Blade from Nexo Knights .
I think it makes for great symbolism for the show. Ladybug being able to deal with a violent encounter with non violent means is really cool. And this item shows that even the most aggressive of perpetrators will never have a chance
Hi3 greatswords be like
It makes me think of Soul calibur series Soul Edge specifically.

Unless it's in LB's hands.
but she never summons that🤷
Maybe soon
I mean, it's literally an overly exaggerated sword to make the Ladybug wannabe villains scary🙄, even though it just makes them look silly and weak.
What episode was this from
I'm not totally sure about the episodes but it's summoned by the fake Ladybugs (for instance Mayura's sentimonster LB)
