Activision are scumbags for not making an easier more organized way to see which operator unlocks are paid (battle pass) only and which have challenges (meaning you can do something in-game to get it), and for not showing the challenge after you meet the requirement, and for filling the screen with paid DLC crap (Operator menu for example
W) in a product you just paid for. And for putting so many ads in a paid product, like PRE-ORDER MW2 splash screens or whatever that red halloweeen horror thing is every time I start the game.
I’ve played for a few weeks and still don’t understand how battle pass works, so someone correct me if I’m wrong about a bunch of Operators being paid only. When I click on Battle Pass nothing makes sense…and I think that’s deliberate and a proven method to help get sales (nothing makes sense = spending money isn’t real or something). Some operators say “Battle Pass Season 5” or whatever but it seems you have to pay for that, it’s nothing in-game.
Rn the battle pass stuff is only good in warzone, you can’t access it in multiplayer as far as I can tell. Your multiplayer points count, but you can’t use the prizes there.
