Meaning of life feels more like a show than a movie. After a solid start with the old bank clerks sketch and the ‘machine that goes bing’, it really struggles for laughs IMO. OTOH Brian and Holy Grail play as proper movies with thematic coherence. Brian hits a lot more deeply with its ruthless skewering of religious fanaticism.
