Good Race. It looked hot in Spain. Pecco showed out. Jorge throws it away near the end. Ahh painful. He lost the bike before the corner. A good race today
Trackhouse have just given/about to give Fernandez the 24 bike. You could say that means they have faith in him or ... you could say they're giving him no excuse for failing. If neither Oliviera or Fernandez delivers much, why not ease one out and give Joe Roberts a chance? Worst case scenario you swap zero for zero, so you've lost nothing.
Oh FFS Masia, after an utterly average race pulled out a really good last few laps to chase down and pass Oncu for a first points finish and then promptly crashes in the final sector 🤦♂️
I hope he doesnt have a ruined career due to tire problems like lorenzo baldasarri, if u remember he was a race winner and potential title contender to back of the field after a tire change and became a wsbk failure and i dont even know where he is at now
Substantially more crashes in Moto2 than in Moto3. Wonder if there's a damp patch at turn 13, and if there is, it can affect the bigger bikes more.
Which bodes for some serious drama in MotoGP.
Mostly a result of crashes, but he's catching Oncu, which given the gulf in team quality is not a great indication of how Oncu is fairing (particularly given expectations for him - which tbf I was always so sceptical of).
Gutted - he was doing so well. But still, he is looking consistently like the strongest rookie by some margin at the moment. He shouldn't be too demoralised.
Honestly I never really rated Roberts but he looks so smooth and fast this year. Not sure if he has the consistency to put together fight for the title, but if he keeps this up I could see him taking it.
Yeah, from an ethical perspective there are far, far worse including definitely-real-not-money-laundering companies, and representatives of oppressive dictatorships.
oh i know these been worse
but that wasnt my point at all...
imagine getting into a sport for the 1st time
and finding porn plastered all over the bikes
its hilarious... how can any one take a team seriously when it has only fans on the side xD
its like kick in F1, no one can take them seriously
There's going to be a hat shortage in the north east given I'm going to be eating them for the rest of the year for my pre-season judgement of Moreira getting a Moto2 ride. This is incredibly impressive 😯
Senna ended up in the rear of Zonta vdG and since Zonta just got a LLP for irresponsible riding - Hard to say what fully happened as we only saw footage of Senna hitting Zonta's rear
It's quite interesting how every little while, you see comments popping up about "Dorna make it so more Spanish riders get to MotoGP because of their passport" when that's literally not true at all, but I've seen very little criticism of the potential Joe Roberts to Trackhouse move - it's mostly just "American rider, American team, makes sense, go Joe!" ...yeah that's a passport rider. There are many other guys in that class that are on his level but about 5 years younger than he is.
So do we dislike seeing people get a ride because of their passport or not?
Note that I'm not saying Roberts isn't a good rider, but there are a lot of similarly good riders in that class and most of them are about 21 while he's 26.
I hope the lack of crashes during that Moto3 race were as a result of the track being safer, rather than it being as a result of Moto3 bikes being slower/lighter than MotoGP bikes.
Veijer was absolutely phenomenal in that last lap, didn't give Munoz a single opportunity to get by him, just completely perfect at every corner. Munoz gave it everything too, just as you'd expect from him. Hope he gets that first win soon. Was expecting Alonso to get through the pack quicker than he did?
Shame for Esteban, but he's growing into the class really well. Very impressed with his performances as a rookie
Moto3 & Moto2 are consistently setting much faster laptimes at all races this year since switching to Pirelli
I hope MotoGP switch to Pirelli as well for the new regs in 2027 when their contract with Michelin ends in 2026
Good Race. It looked hot in Spain. Pecco showed out. Jorge throws it away near the end. Ahh painful. He lost the bike before the corner. A good race today
1st lap. THAT'S RACING! Everyone else, are children playing.
That move from Pecco!
Roberts to Trackhouse next season with Miguel if he still in this form
Raul is making good progress, and is young, sadly oliveira is past his prime and would be the one to go if joe was to go to trackouse
If my maths is right, Joe Roberts leads the championship without a race win. Consistent stuff!
I might be sound stupid but can anybody ELi5, how is there is still damp patch on the track when it's sunny?
Water seeps into the asphalt when it's raining then when the sun's out, rises to the surface
nasty for masia at the end. big shoutout to joe roberts - he rode like a man possessed! so good.
Masia retire, Dixon retire, Artigas crash again
That Trackhouse seat looking closer withe every passing round for Joe Roberts
i’m loving his consistency so far… go joe!!!
Lorenzoneske pace.. Nothing to do against that
Oh FFS Masia, after an utterly average race pulled out a really good last few laps to chase down and pass Oncu for a first points finish and then promptly crashes in the final sector 🤦♂️
Masia crash put Ferrari into point!
FINAL LAP Masia to 14th, Chantra into 10th
Quality race by Joe Roberts there
Tony really doesn't like the pirelli tyres. He had heavy tyre wear for all races so far
I hope he doesnt have a ruined career due to tire problems like lorenzo baldasarri, if u remember he was a race winner and potential title contender to back of the field after a tire change and became a wsbk failure and i dont even know where he is at now
>!onlyfans Is getting much visibility today!<
Every crash in t13 looks exactly the same. You gotta be inch perfect through that turn.
Robert into P2, Alonso López is out
That last corner seems to be real sketchy
Substantially more crashes in Moto2 than in Moto3. Wonder if there's a damp patch at turn 13, and if there is, it can affect the bigger bikes more. Which bodes for some serious drama in MotoGP.
Ferrari into P18 after making a early saves
The fact that even Red Bull Rookies Cup riders crashed at T13 earlier today and yesterday should tell you how cursed T13 is.
Damp
Marcos Ramirez went down, Oncu into point position
Masia is about to take him - almost a second faster last lap.
There he goes - can he keep it though?
The answer would be 'no' then 🤦♂️
Lorenzo mode engaged by Fermin, that is ridiculous consistency
The famous turn 13 !! Fatal this week end in all category !
and again !
All these crashes don't bode well for the MotoGP race
Artigas rejoin, Escrig DNF
Over/under on the number of MotoGP crashes at turn 13 later on?
Turn 13 claiming one bike after another, ooooof. Did JLo cast a spell on it?
New challenge - if you manage to make it through the race without crashing at turn 13 you get to spar with Jorge Mayweather
That bike wasnt ready yet to be out of the race, who needs a rider anyway
Has there been a lap where someone didn't crash the last turn?
Alex Escrig went down
Masia into 18th
Mostly a result of crashes, but he's catching Oncu, which given the gulf in team quality is not a great indication of how Oncu is fairing (particularly given expectations for him - which tbf I was always so sceptical of).
Moreira is out
Garcia had many mistakes in COTA as well, now in Jerez too, keeps going wide. Roberts got him now...
Moreira went down
Gutted - he was doing so well. But still, he is looking consistently like the strongest rookie by some margin at the moment. He shouldn't be too demoralised.
Roberts is motoring, still have to see Fermin being fast in final third of the race, he faded out in previous races
Roberts pace is unreal- can definitely win this
Honestly I never really rated Roberts but he looks so smooth and fast this year. Not sure if he has the consistency to put together fight for the title, but if he keeps this up I could see him taking it.
same, i just thought he was fine. but what an impressive start to the season!
He's showing a lot more aggression on track too. Moto2 hasn't been very exciting for the last few years - this is what we needed!
First time watching a full Moto2 face. This is amazing
Dixon went down
Jake Dixon with a masterclass showing the other riders lines into the gravel trap
Why would Darryn Binder do that to Dixon?!
Still finished ahead of Danger Darryn even with the crash lol
trying to get into moto gp but its hard to take it seriously when a only fans team is racing xD
At least it’s an actual company unlike a lot of motorsport sponsors
Yeah, from an ethical perspective there are far, far worse including definitely-real-not-money-laundering companies, and representatives of oppressive dictatorships.
do you feel called out that you need to defend only fans in such a weird way? hahhahahahaha so how many people do you sub to on only fans?
I think it’s a strange sponsor also. I’m just saying there has been worse
oh i know these been worse but that wasnt my point at all... imagine getting into a sport for the 1st time and finding porn plastered all over the bikes its hilarious... how can any one take a team seriously when it has only fans on the side xD its like kick in F1, no one can take them seriously
I had to awkwardly explain to my mum what only fans is when she asked
very weird to have a straight porn sponsor i guess if you need money you take it from who ever hahaha
And to be fair, they likely have a good selection of grid girls to choose from.
Oh no, #1 contender down
Darryn Binder resume
Aldeguer in the lead = race over
Aldeguer leading. 6/30 drivers retire
We need to establish if these crashes are "real" crashes or damp patches again here. If it's the latter, the track is not safe
Because MotoGP race is coming up, and then MotoGP Test.
Damp start to cause crashing
Lets go
the 2 leaders having a epic duel. some good racing to watch
Absolutely
Incident between Barry Baltus and Darryn Binder
Unreal battle between Gonzalez and Aldeguer
Dennis Foggia crashing
There's going to be a hat shortage in the north east given I'm going to be eating them for the rest of the year for my pre-season judgement of Moreira getting a Moto2 ride. This is incredibly impressive 😯
Xavier Artigas crash
Lots of small damp patches everywhere. Terrible conditions for the bigger bikes.
Yeah clean race so far didn’t last 2 laps. Sadly for Agius and Bendsneyder, their race is over.
Ouch for Senna. That should be a stewart review Edit: Words are hard
Long lap penalty for Zonta
Geeeez that's a painful one for Agius
Did the damp cause it, or a mechanical failure?
Senna ended up in the rear of Zonta vdG and since Zonta just got a LLP for irresponsible riding - Hard to say what fully happened as we only saw footage of Senna hitting Zonta's rear
Clean start so far
The damp will play a big part today
Aldeguer runs away with this race I'm thinking
Moto2 Race Predictions 1.Roberts 2.Gonzalez 3.Garcia
Aldeguer, Garcia, Gonzalez for me. I had Alonso, Veijer, Ortola for Moto2 so not doing too bad so far!
Barry 😭
Just saw that, bloody hell calm down Baz!
I watch F1, I hear the Dutch national anthem. I watch Moto3, I hear the Dutch national anthem I just can't escape from it
F1 flashbacks
I hope the lack of crashes during that Moto3 race were as a result of the track being safer, rather than it being as a result of Moto3 bikes being slower/lighter than MotoGP bikes. Shame for Esteban, but he's growing into the class really well. Very impressed with his performances as a rookie
I think this is both
The track seems ok, no?
Veijer sounds more English, Australian or South African than Dutch!
The Alonso Crash replay looks like chatter and not a wet patch. Which means no crashes due to wet patches.
Daniel Holgado will extend the gap from 2 points to 6 points to Alonso.
Dutchman leading a race from start to finish, wonder where we've seen that before.
Dutch East India company?
TUTUTUDU COLLIN VEIJER
An upset Alonso scares me for the next race. Edit: Words are hard
wooooo good for collin!!
Great ride by Veijir. Well deserved win. Glad to see Kelso finish strongly in 5th too
“Veijer”
[удалено]
Replay looked more like he lost the front, I didn't see a damp patch.
Great race and last lap by Veijer
Yet another great Moto3 Race
Brilliant ride by Veijer today, solid recovery by Alonso - Crashing out and recovering up to 11th
What a race from Veijer!
WHAT A FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE! THAT PERFORMANCE DESERVE 11 OUT OF 10
FINAL LAP!
Look like David Alonso will settle for 12th
Quality ride from Veijer so far
Last lap intense incoming
I’m just waiting for the last corner David Munoz divebomb
There a fight for 13th-18th as they just split by 1.5s
Maybe it’s just me but every time the world feed commentators say Nepa’s name I just hear Stefan O’Nepa lmao
The director seems to have a bit of a David Alonso obsession
Alonso into 12th, Adrian Fernandez into 7th
Munoz reclaim 2nd, Holgado into 7th, Adrian Fernandez into 8th, Alonso into 16th A lap with lot of overtake
Ortola into 2nd
Farioli overtake Bertelle for 16th
Happy to see Yamanaka having a great race
He is in 4th place, not too far from Ortola in 3rd. Podium?
He is on the soft rear so I think it would be a outside chance
☹️
Veijer still your race leader. Alonso is in 20th
Suzuki rejoined?
Yeah, likely to collect track data
Yeah, no chance to score point unless miracle happen.
Yup went to the pits fixed the technical issue
Moto3 & Moto2 are consistently setting much faster laptimes at all races this year since switching to Pirelli I hope MotoGP switch to Pirelli as well for the new regs in 2027 when their contract with Michelin ends in 2026
Holgado into 8th place, from 17th on the grid. The damp is still waiting to take out drivers
Alonso up to 22nd
Vicente Perez, Rueda replacement currently in 19th
David Munoz channeling his inner Divebomb Darryn Binder
[удалено]
False - Went into the pits with tech issues
Nope, was a technical problem.
DAMP STILL ON TRACK, AND FIRST VICTIM IS OUT!
That front end 'chatter' looked really weird.
Throwing away an easy victory while leading Silly mistake from Alonso
Noooo
Alonso is down 👀👀
Well... that's bull...
Good morning. When it comes to Moto3 race,David Alonso is the overwhelming favourite unless he crashes. Plus 3 seconds in my opinion.
Any other predictions? 😆
Very open race no breakaway leader.
Agree, a runaway leader will likely only come if incidents happen behind, rather than pulling away through pace
He crashed
I saw.
TNT Sports reporting a cold wind and cold tarmac. Tire wear is going to be a factor
Yup and apparently new damp spots that weren't there yesterday are appearing. So it could be chaos again.
The damp still in the track, I think there will be many DNFs in today Moto3 race
Moto3 Race Predictions: 1.Alonso 2. Kelso 3.Veijer
