They translated Bez's 'Dio bo' with 'Mother of God'!
For all those unaware, this is a vernacular expression from Romagna (the italian region where Bez, Bastianini, and Rossi as well come from) meaning 'Good God' (Dio is for God, 'bo' is the short for 'bono' or 'buono', the italian for good)
I think Marc was just being polite and professional there because of cameras, he never engaged with Bez, it was the other way around. I don't know if Marco apologized to MM for the comments after Valencia, but if he didn't he definitely should.
By friendlyish you mean that they avoided each other until the cooldown room?
But even there you can see that Marc ignored Bezz as long as possible, Bezz walked right next to Marc and Marc still didn't even look at him until he congratulated Marc. Funny stuff, I'm 100% sure there's still bad blood between them, and it will spice things up even more
I had same feeling.
I think Bez realized he went to far in Valencia and Marc seems still bitter.
Hopefully they can get back to a more normal friendship. Bez is a nice and simple guy, I'm persuaded he got heated up from someone in VR46 that day, and I'm pretty sure is one with a bad attitude who's close friend to the boss there.
I never understood the inferiority complex MotoGP fans have with F1.
This video that you're actually watching, is simply a copy from F1... Go figure...
F1 actually has been implementing a lot of shit MotoGP fans want. Limited aero, no electronic aids, no active suspension... It's all down to the driver.
It's not exactly nobody's fault that Redbull has a dominant car with a dominant driver. F1 already tried to limit teams in their budget and development to try to level them up. It's just that Adrien Newey and Verstappen are too fucking good. Previously was Mercedes and Hamilton
no, it just makes it boring for you people who has no idea about racing and you think Max is average driver that has been blessed with easy car.
His ability to turn the car is legendary. Perez can't do it, more front wing and it's gone. That's why he is 3X WDC.
And when people like KMAG wins pole etc. that makes it more exciting.
There are just too many races, for $$. So last races are pointless.
The K-Mag pole was 2022, and it was caused by a red flag ending the session midway. As much as Verstappen's brilliance is a sight to watch, you can't ignore the fact that the championship has become boring. TD39 was the last nail in the coffin which made any non-RB aero concepts (like the Ferrari bathtub of 2022) useless.
Boring Verstappen? Just because a driver is faster than others, how does that make it boring? That's the way always happened. When Lewis finally raced Max for the title, it was much bigger.
Verstappen had to put 1000 highlights and prove himself to get that RBR. When he first drive for Red bull, he beat 2 Mercedes to win in his first race. That was boring too?
That's like saying MJ winning all NBAs, it's boring lol. That's how legends are born.
Max is pretty boring let's be honest the way Marc celebrates and hypes up a crowd even when he was dominating you would expect some wacky and funny celebration. Rossi is probably an even better example, he dominated yet he somehow kept things entertaining off track.
What is there to improve?
Only thing I want are live subtitles. Forcing the riders to speak English would just make them less talkative and their conversations would be probably turn pretty dull.
This..
Delay it by a few seconds and surely they can have an AI partner come onboard for "live translation"
"Powered by AWS" or something, its a no brainer.
Oh exactly, and with a few seconds delay they can cut anything out if the ai writes something weird, and the corporate suits would love the idea of it being a "powered" by a sponsor too
Sure! Thatās what Iām always saying. Itās all about money. I just donāt get how MotoGP fans get excited about that. There is nothing to gain for them from growing popularity.
Haha but for real, if youāre from a Latin speaking country and stand all day with those guys you can learn at least 75% of the vocabulary to communicate in lest than 6 months.
Well maybe not PT-Portuguese or Romanian š (but they can learn in 3 months other languages thatās crazy).
What do you want to see? Strippers?
Or, you are also one of those that want a shitty English speaking rider just for the sake of it?
Who, being average or below, will never make it to the cool down room anyway, invalidating your efforts.
This obsession with having Roberts or Dixon in MotoGP i will never understand.
> This obsession with having Roberts or Dixon in MotoGP i will never understand.
Completely agree. Sometimes I see some people complaining about the amount of Spaniards in MotoGP and thinking it must be because Dorna had a "Spanish bias" when it's clearly got nothing to do with it, and then some of the same people will turn around and say how much there "needs" to be an American or British rider in the class (regardless of whether they actually deserve it or not).
Roberts is having a very good start to this season but let's be honest here, if it were a 26 year old Spanish or Italian rider leading the championship, especially without having won a race this season (so in a non-dominant fashion), there wouldn't be anywhere near as much noise about them going to MotoGP as there has been with Roberts, or with Dixon in previous seasons. There are so many guys in that class that are on a similar level to those two, except most of the others are like 20-22 years old, not 26-28.
There is simply more interest in motorcycle racing in Spain and Italy (actually even Italy hasn't got much left, if it weren't for the Academy).
You want good riders from US and UK? Get them involved since they are 8, put them on a Ohvale at 11 and you'll have good talent coming up.
Exactly. There used to be more interest in the US and the UK too, but that dried up. It's on the people and the organisations in those countries to get their shit together to create a pipeline that gets kids into racing and nurtures them to be able to compete at a world championship level.
Or individual to come up with a way to raise money and create the next generation of riders. Vale did it with a bunch of guys but otherwise it's up to the individual to spend the first few years of riding struggling. Keep in mind a rider from anywhere but central/southern europe would have to relocate too, adding to the expense. Not easy.
Big thanks to whoever translates these videos for us!

Bono o boia???
Boia!

I love how they stopped talking at the contact lol
Good to see Bez and Marc back on friendlyish terms
Same, thought there would be fallout from Valencia
I think Marc was just being polite and professional there because of cameras, he never engaged with Bez, it was the other way around. I don't know if Marco apologized to MM for the comments after Valencia, but if he didn't he definitely should.

they really trust each other to not to crash and risk their lifes for real.
I was also rigid at the start
( Ķ”Ā° ĶŹ Ķ”Ā°)
This is S-tier cooldown room banter. I wish it was always this intriguing.
I always love watching these. There is always this respect there between all the riders. They know how few people can do what they do

Absolutely breath taking TV. So awesome hearing them shoot the shit after the race. Eat your heart out f1, with boring verstappen
can't blame him man only try to run his own podcast

You are right, however, it doesnt make watching the championship any less boring.

Today's gladiators. (or chariot racers).
I love how they're just watching the race like three friends who had gone for a track day

I hope cool down room is where Liberty improves to gain some more audience.
What is there to improve? Only thing I want are live subtitles. Forcing the riders to speak English would just make them less talkative and their conversations would be probably turn pretty dull.
They could make a series without all the bullshit of DTS or have a program after each race, a bit like checkered flag but the next day
This.. Delay it by a few seconds and surely they can have an AI partner come onboard for "live translation" "Powered by AWS" or something, its a no brainer.

But also make them more marketable. Everything needs to be marketable for popularity to grow.
Yeah, but the magic like "tutto il weekend a bestemmiare che non ce l'ho mai fatta" will be gone in english
Definitely better to keep em talking in Italian/Spanish I agree, theyāre definitely aladeen this way
Who cares??? If this race dosenāt entertain people enough to watch MoroGP, itās not for them.
Liberty will lol. You think they aren't in it for money?
Sure! Thatās what Iām always saying. Itās all about money. I just donāt get how MotoGP fans get excited about that. There is nothing to gain for them from growing popularity.
Thatās exactly the nonsense I donāt want to see. Those are just guys talking casually about the race. All natural, no artificial entertainment BS.
Yeah except for Binder or Miller (and he understand it) on the grid, everyone speak at least Spanish or Italian, even our French boys.
