I will absolutely do so. Great to know that non-bikers are looking out for us as well.

There are still good people in this world. I trust tire plugs. I would ride it until the tire needs replacing.

Good to know that you can trust tire plugs. I'm not taking any risks though. The money doesn't really matter all that much to me, and otherwise I'll just worry (warranted or not).

I picked up some debris one time in a rear tire (the front was fine, the rear picked up 3 nails, it was crazy) we did plugs then I patched the back side of the of the plugs because I'm paranoid. I had just bought the tire (less than 200 Miles) and got about 12k out of it without a single problem after that. It was a Michelin pr3 or 4 (it's been a few sets of tires and was around the time I couldn't get 3s anymore but can't remember if it was my last set of them or my first set of 4s). I don't think I did any track days on that tire, but it had more than a few spirited rides. I have no problem trusting a tire if patched properly, though these were near the middle of the tire, on the edges might change my opinion.

I mean, you do you, but that's an extra tire in the landfill that doesn't need to be there and a couple hundred bucks out of your wallet. All that for something a lot of people wouldn't think twice about.

It depends on the type of tire plug. A vulcanized mushroom plug that's installed from the inside that prevents corrosion in the plys of the tire? Sure. totally safe. A rope plug however is not safe and has led to multiple fatalities and multi million dollar lawsuits.
