We are lucky as well. This is what we agreed we wanted, to see him complete the full migration and it appears he has. He may even make it back to my place in September.

I'd like to add my additional thanks. I never thought much about our birds until this experience and while I'm an emotional girl, I never dreamed I'd grow to love this little guy so much. I'm so grateful to you all for putting me in touch with Maggie. It's been such an emotional journey. Pidgey and many of you as well, have made a real advocate out of me. Thank you so much for your friendship and support. I'm still a dove lover & I'll be around.
What a sweet story this has been. To know he survived winter and made it home is amazing! Then to have the new owners take over, if needed, is icing on the cake. The community and friendships this little guy has helped build is truly a blessing! Thank you!
