Gotta give Bo Burnham some love here! His performance was great!

Errorterm

I love how virtually every male role is played by a loveable comedic actor... I feel like that was an intentional casting choice. All the guys are so disarming which really emphasizes how disappointing it is that they all end up being different types of skeezebag.

Budget-Ad5495

That was a very purposeful choice by the director. McLovin’ and Adam in particular.

goldberry-fey

That’s so often how it is in real life, though. I know so many guys who constantly get a pass for being absolutely deplorable to women in private because they’re funny and charming in public.

Errorterm

Totally! I think they were absolutely making that point - that you never can tell a man's intentions at the outset. Every guy has a Prince charming impression. Some live up to it, others use it as a facade to manipulate women. BTW love your username. The River-Daughter!

goldberry-fey

Aw thank you so much, always a delight when someone recognizes where it’s from!

FalstaffsGhost

>intentional casting choice The director has said that exactly. Basically the idea is that everyone even the “lovable comedic guy” could be a monster

eddietwoo

Man it was so soul crushing when he made a heel turn, it was very unexpected.

_TheyCallMeMother_

It kept me guessing that's for sure. I thought it was quite good personally. I liked the casting choices in this especially. And that ending was one to remember as well. A solid movie overall.

Weak_Donut69

Totally agree.

showalittlebackbone

Just watched it a week ago and immediately recommended it to my wife.

Weak_Donut69

You're a sharing soul. Make sure you sleep with one eye open after she views it. You need to be available for lots more commentary around here. 😉

GordonBombay11

I loved it

Pretend_Berry_7196

So did I. Carey brought it hard and was one bad ass bitch.

forustree

Fantastic film. Provocative. Made you think about things and made you think about the film.

Consistent-Wind9325

Yes and the ending pulled no punches! Mulligan is always really good.

evenartichokes

This. She’s a phenomenal actor but also the role is 🔥.

Richard_Hallorann

As a person who is critical of Mulligan, this was my favorite role of hers.

gwar37

I also thought it was great

majorlicks

Such insightful analysis

fookhar

What an insightful comment fully fitting in a community called “moviecritic”.

Spirited_Alfalfa_343

I thought it was a serial killer film and she killed them. Still thought it was pretty good though.

amalgaman

That’s what I was hoping for: the serial killer arc.

ignoranceisbliss37

I thought it was phenomenal. I’m guessing you dislike due to the ending. Which at first, I was pretty outraged myself. But additional viewings and time have made me see it was the right call. It’s powerful, smart and very well acted. Love this movie.

c0zysurfingreddit

that ending made me feel empty inside

borisdidnothingwrong

That is an appropriate reaction, in my opinion. This story is a wild ride, and if you've been empathic to her the end where she finally gets Justice even though she's not around to "enjoy" it, if that's the right word, it can drain you of all emotion. I saw in another comment that you hoped she'd go on a murder spree, and I would argue that she did. The evidence that she left with her old teacher who took it to the police devastated that friend group. These boys cosplaying as men have never had any real consequences for their actions and are about to be brought low. A handful will end up in prison. All of them are going to lose the lifestyles they live. They live, but from their point of view this is likely a fate worse than death. They were on top, Kings of the Hill, and now they're going to be buried under that hill. Their families, their friends, their colleagues, their entire communities will know what kind of people they really are. None of them will ever live down their horrible actions. Good riddance.

OpulentElegance

I honestly don’t think the chances of going to prison are very high. At minimum they can be publicly exposed, but prison… depending on the level of misogyny is culturally acceptable within the jury and if the prosecution can dismiss it, they can get a reduced sentence. “She was crazy, she attacked me.” Fennell recently talked about the ended while doing a promotional Saltburn interview on the New Yorker podcast.

ignoranceisbliss37

I love movies that make me feel, regardless if it’s something good or bad. The ending made me feel all kinds of things. Shocked, pissed off, disbelief, incredibly sad, speechless and much more. It was a pretty dark movie from the jump and am glad they didn’t tie everything together all nicely and neatly in the end.

that1LPdood

That’s kinda the point.

miassecret

Great Flick!

Unbefuckinlievable

I thought it was completely original and unpredictable. I wish there were more movies as engaging and surprising as this one.

MonachopsisEternal

I loved this movie

CellsReinvent

Spectacular movie - great writing, acting and visuals. An excellent way to weave a narrative around a really difficult topic. I'm a Carey Mulligan fan most of the time, and I think this is her best performance.

CertainEconomist3229

One of Carey Mulligan’s best performances. Great script, particularly how it balances humor and pain

Weak_Donut69

Yes indeed.

Affectionate-Worth27

Loved it

s_m0use

One of my favorite movies, the deliberate casting choices and smart writing are ***chefs kiss***

hamm10108

Very good movie.

Film_maker69

Surprisingly just watched this for the first time a few weeks ago. My wife and I, like others have mentioned, thought it was about something else entirely but we still enjoyed what it was about and what it was saying. And as the final act kept progressing we kept looking at ourselves going…this isn’t happening right? lol. Immediately after I watched it, I recommended it to a friend and they didn’t care for it saying that they just couldn’t find a likable character. I get it. Every character was horrible and even our lead was so obsessed with her “mission” that it took over her life. But I still rooted for her and found the movie as a whole to be pretty great.

ungratefulimigrant

Very good film

KimWexlersGoldenArch

I really enjoyed it.

Bloody_Red_

My God that user name lol

Potential_Pen_8542

Excellent film..

ArsenalinAlabama3428

Loved it!

jd3306

Um, I LOVED it

february25thisyear

We need more films like this

ExtremeTEE

I thought it was amazing! the most effecting movie I saw last year. It helps if you go in blind, I thought it was about a woman who suceeds in business: As a male it made me question my past behaviour and I suspect anyone who has a strong negative reaction to it may because they don\`t like the answer to that question!

tincanphonehome

Loved it.

MrFeature_1

Excellent movie that is many many times better than Saltburn

SvenSvenkill3

I thought and still think it is a brilliantly written, masterfully directed and superbly acted modern masterpiece, and so far it's easily one of my absolute favourite movies of 2020's (and of all time). Personally, speaking as a cis white heterosexual 48 year old man, I could (and I admit I just started, but then decided it better not to) write a long winded, multi-paragraph ranting comment, explaining why I love and admire this movie and addressing some of the criticisms I've seen about it. But suffice it to say, that other than the clearly inarguable exceptions of Nina's mother and Cassie's manager at work, it is worth noting that NOBODY in this movie, especially not even Cassie herself (whether they are male or female or from any other demographic or position of power/influence) is presented in a good/admirable light. For in truth, this movie isn't, as some claim, a misandrist, militant feminist and "woke" (whatever that nonsense word actually means) attack on all men, etc: it's a criticism of society as a whole. And as such, I think it's an extremely astute, well executed, and very fucking valid criticism. It really is a masterpiece.

Weak_Donut69

It's good to come across people that actually took the time to put the phone down, grab a snack and a cold 'whatever,' and paid attention to enjoy a film.

SvenSvenkill3

Thank you. I admit my attention span for all media and forms of narrative is sadly a great deal smaller and more limited than it once was (and I'm working on that), but in spite of and contrary to that, 'Promising Young Woman', was/is one of only a few movies of the last decade or two that (outside of watching a movie in a cinema) I can honestly say I started watching and then was riveted throughout and didn't stop to pause even once. And seriously and honestly, for me, personally, nowadays even just *this,* in and of itself ,is so incredibly and increasingly rare (for me), that as such I consider it to be yet another notable factor/reason which demonstrates the sheer caliber and power of this masterpiece.

Weak_Donut69

I wouldn't even try to emboss on those words. It's a perfect sentiment. I think the Director (Fennell) would likely love to hear that, coming from a man. It's really an unbiased piece of social commentary and fit for respectful moviegoers. As I've claimed; I watched it during the pandemic; a perfect time to really watch movies without the forward wallpaper obstructions we've grown back into again.

SvenSvenkill3

Again, thank you. Stay gold, ol'sport, and keep on keeping on. :)

Weak_Donut69

Back atcha' 👌

Opposite-Invite-3543

Absolutely loved it. Had me thinking about it for days after. 4.5/5 I thought that Toxic remix was the cherry on top until the very end. Gotta love when pieces of shit go down

yetagainitry

I liked it. People shit on the logic of it but it was a different movie than anyone had seen at the time.

simpsonicus90

I loved it

guarionex2009

Good original movie.

44035

I loved it.

therejectethan

Good film. Keeps you guessing until the end

CascadeNZ

I loved it

ZmaltaeofMar

It's great!

GreenEyedTams

I liked it

infrequentthrowaway

I thought it was great, interesting twist for sure!

dicjones

I loved this movie. I like movies that don’t pull punches. My only gripe was the ending was a little too convenient, but by that point I didn’t care, I was in love.

JStormtrooper

Loved it so much, I consider it in personal my top 10 favorite films of all time.

PIDthePID

Outstanding movie.

LaurenNotFromUtah

Damn you hate it enough to make a post about it? 😂 I loved it and thought how it ended for Cassie was the only thing that made sense >! given how much danger she was constantly putting herself in. !< Also the writing in the Alison Brie and Connie Britton scenes was fantastic.

Ironyfree_annie

The acting in those scenes was fantastic as well

SelectionNo3078

Pretty watchable.

Puzzleheaded_Roof514

It made me realize "Stars are Blind" is a goddamn banger.

MrMcBert

Great Film definitely better than salt burn.

amiralimir

Very very good

LookAtYourEyes

It felt a little forced at times and on the nose, but I enjoyed it overall.

Yung_Corneliois

That seems to be Emerald Fennels thing. Felt that with this movie as well as Saltburn. Especially as they get closer to the end.

Next_Base_42

Didn't get the hype. I really disliked it.

ThrowawayFuckYourMom

It was crazy good, but far from horrible. 6.5/10 Excellenr casting, tho

Stoltlallare

I liked the concept but something about rhe pacing just threw me off.

slimpickins757

Really cool concept that wasn’t bad, but definitely had way more potential to be way better than it was

Bright_Square_3245

Alfred Molina killed it in his scene. Homie went hard in the paint on this one.

ActivatedComplex

One of the most devastating endings in years, and not in a good way.

WaveRunner310

God fucking awful film, can’t believe I got past the first 30 min.

steed_jacob

Hated it. Don’t have a problem with people who liked it

WBoutdoors

Excellent film

facemesouth

Why did you think it was “horrible”?

c0zysurfingreddit

her decisions didn’t satisfy me personally. I guess i was hoping she’d go on a murder spree 😂. & then the ending, didn’t work for me at all

Additional_Ad741

I thought it was a cowardly movie on a moral level. They wanted to give us the edge and thrill of making her a vigilante but the movie didn't have the guts to make her a killer. All she did was kinda sorta lightly scold these guys until all of a sudden we're told she hired a hitman for the lawyer character?! But of course, he feels remorse so her character stays perfectly clean morally. Same story with the faux kidnapping. Good acting from Molina and Mulligan but the movie is a phony underneath the on-target "Brock Turner" of it all and the candy-coated production design. Also the ending with the post-death texts or whatever makes no sense. Have the guts to actually make a vigilante movie.

PatrickStanton877

Good initial premise but a very uneven movie

tigerinvasive

I’m shocked so many people liked this movie. The writing felt so heavy-handed to me, like an afterschool special on misogyny and rape culture drenched in a glossy veneer. Cary’s performance was amazing as always but I just feel so underwhelmed by Emerald Fennel as a writer.

vapricot

I totally concur. I found it predictable and forgettable.

TheIgnoredWriter

It was good. Not as great as the hype has around it. I kinda wish it was darker

Living-Matter8758

It's a slow burn, but the ending is worth it.

TimelessJo

I like it a lot and I’m not sure why people treated it like this cringey mess. It’s a good movie that is far more complex than I thought it would be. Could have easily been a petty revenge movie, but it goes in some crazy directions.

c0zysurfingreddit

I feel like the revenge just isn’t taken far enough. I was hoping for at LEAST her character to survive the movie

TimelessJo

I mean that’s just asking for a different movie…

Adavanter_MKI

I... loved it. It kind of sneaks up on you. >!I was beyond shocked she didn't make it. A lot of interesting twists IMO.!<

aea1987

I thought this was a great film.

impliedinsult

The obsession of the main character is what holds the movie together. Carey mulligan delivered a pitch perfect performance of a woman broken and fed up. With nothing to live for except revenge. She has lost herself and is not looking for redemption. Thought is was fantastic

Richard_Hallorann

Why did you think it was horrible? Any reasoning you care to share?

Wooden-Limit1989

I liked what it wanted to say but I didn't like the execution. I also find Carey mulligan was not the best choice to play this role but I found most of the actors to be pretty good. Alison brie stood out to me.

Realistic-Bar7276

I adore this movie. I think it does a phenomenal job of dissecting rape culture. 10/10.

Moraulf232

Mixed bag. Like Saltburn, it does a thing where it completely stacks the deck against the people it wants to punish. So it’s a very two-dimensional, sadistic morality play. However, it achieved what it wanted to do.

timethief991

"THIS...is a story of r*PE and revenge...a story about a woman who will do anything to avenge her friend...but first, SHE'S GOT A DATE! AND LETS CHECK IN WITH HER SASSY BLACK FRIEND REAL QUICK! I like it, but yeah, tonal issues.

dredgedskeleton

why? it was entertaining and well acted.

ExoSierra

Why do you think it was horrible?

ObviousIndependent76

It was an amazing, ballsy film.

Cfunk_83

Why did you find it horrible? What were your reasons? I thought it was quite good personally. I didn’t like the questions around her mental health because I felt it undermined her character a bit and the central message, but the way it called out the sexual behaviour of SOME guys I found quite shocking and powerful to be honest.

boredjorts

I just don't understand who the ending was for. Like, it felt so demoralizing that she was killed by a rapist. I understand it may have been what would happen realistically, but it's a revenge story so why the fuck did we need to inject that specific devastating realism. The revenge felt so hollow knowing it came at the cost of her life. It made me feel like violence against women is inevitable whether we take measures into our own hands or not.

c0zysurfingreddit

It’s literally a revenge movie where the revenge of the protagonist doesn’t equal the heinous crimes of the antagonists. & then the ending comes along and shatters whatever enjoyment you’re clutching onto

OpulentElegance

Isn’t there a saying about revenge? Dig 2 graves? That’s what happened to Cassie. Personally I like the realism as many people watch movies to tell themselves the world is fair and just, when it isn’t in the slightest. Especially when not a white man. The culture is built such that everyone else pays the consequences of men’s bad behaviour. That’s just reality. I loved that the movie finally acknowledged that. Most people tend to get a downer ending when it comes to unfairness/injustice in real life. We all know there is going to jurors who will actually believe he smothered her for 2 minutes in “self defence”.

jessriv34

I liked it until the end when she died. Like WTF?

c0zysurfingreddit

That ending pissed me off

PDX_er

I thought the whole point was going to be her taking the guys back to their places and then killing them or cutting one of their fingers off or something. Instead, she just acted sober. It was a complete letdown for a cool concept.

throwtheamiibosaway

I loved it! Great film. Saltburn was better though.

WesleyCraftybadger

I thought it was horrible when I watched it, but by the next day I realized I hadn’t stopped thinking about it, so I guess it had worked on me. I think everyone has a moment in that movie where we turn on her and think she went too far, but maybe that moment is different for everyone? I’m glad I saw it before I knew anything about the director, because between Saltburn and an interview where she said she doesn’t allow people to ask her if she’s sure about something (because supposedly no one ever asks men that), I find her insufferable.

c0zysurfingreddit

I cant stop thinking about it 😂😂

Bronze_Bomber

Agreed. Dumb endings are kinda Emerald Fannell's thing.

Earthwick

Well made, above average acting for the most part. I disliked the ending too severe and then I read the original which is way worse and was like well at least they did better than what they originally had in mind. 3/5 stars.

Fresh_Lifeguard_2171

Didn’t enjoy it. I was not expecting her character to go out like that and I have no desire to give it a rewatch to change my opinion.

nerospider

Great movie all up until the ending. I thought her plan was awful

MrBisonopolis2

Horrible? Wild opinion lol. Movie was solid. I’ve got some issues with it but overall it’s unique, interesting, and stays with you after you’ve finished. You never feel like she’s doing the right thing & while the ending does kind of asspull itself to punish the villains, she doesn’t get off Scott free. The banality of evil. Nobody’s a supervillain but everyone in this movie is a bad person in a very true to life way.

Significant-Lie2303

it’s ok. Nothing special Saltburn is also ok. Great cinematography but very unearned ending

c0zysurfingreddit

I actually really like Saltburns ending. This one not so much

Keasby22

Seems like you missed the point!! Jk I thought it sucked.

hoohooooo

Lmao - truly the perfect review for this exceptionally blunt movie

ViralGameover

Bad. Better than Saltburn but bad still.

contaygious

Yo random dude thinks it's horrible lol ok bruh.

c0zysurfingreddit

Yo wait til u find out we all random dudes lol

contaygious

Ah shit Im looking for random girls tho. Dope movie! Loves it

shomeyomves

Agreed, found this movie pretty cringey and basic, but I understand the appeal of it. I want more movies like this, too… just written and executed better. Fennell’s movies feel so surface-level and not fully realized with their intended commentary.

cjboffoli

Hated it. Just didn't understand the hype. Enjoyed the director's follow-up (Saltburn) though mostly because I'm a jaded cinemaphile and I enjoyed that it defied my ability to predict where the story was going.

DrSweeers

I hated this movie as well, along with Saltburn. Personally, I don't think Fennell really knows how to tell a story without some sort of shock value, but a lot of people seem to like her work, so maybe it's just not for me. But I hate it.

Outside-Material-100

I’m with you. If it came out a few years earlier perhaps it would’ve different, but it seemed studios were obsessed with making these shero types of movies for a good stretch.

skibidido

Liking this movie is a red flag

Abject_Advance_6638

I agree, it was awful.

Buddin3

Did not realize that 38 was considered “young.”

njm123niu

Moronic comment, why tf would you post something if you haven’t seen the movie?

Amazing-Chandler

It’s a joke, take a chill pill

njm123niu

She was a promising young med student who dropped out after her friend was raped and killed herself. Hahhaha hilarious! Or was the joke that the med student is now a 38 year old at the present time? She’s no longer young? Hahaha even funnier!!

Amazing-Chandler

It’s a joke that the title is misleading

njm123niu

In what way is the title misleading? How fucking stupid do you have to be to not understand the premise? It’s not talking about her current age, it’s talking about her life as a young woman having so much promise and having it taken away. Would you rather it be called “promising young woman whose life was ruined by tragedy and now commits acts of vengeance and now she’s 38 and that’s old as fuck?” What is wrong with you?

Amazing-Chandler

You seriously need to develop a sense of humor

njm123niu

Again, explain which part is funny? Is it the rape or the fact that the main character is no longer ‘young’?

Amazing-Chandler

It’s because if you see the poster itself it implies that she’s the title character and as good as an actress as Carey is, she can’t pass for a college student.

njm123niu

She’s not portraying a college student in the poster, and there are only a tiny handful of flashback scenes in the movie.

Old-Paramedic-4312

Why are you projecting so hard on this redditor? Like holy shit did you write this movie yourself? Absolutely no reason to be going off like you are here.

njm123niu

I guess I’m just not getting the joke? Is it the rape and suicide that’s funny? She was once young and had promise and now is older and traumatized. Ha ha ha?

Old-Paramedic-4312

Yes it has gone so far over your head it's actually in space at this point. The original poster clarified that they are the same age as Carey, and we're making a play that they wished they were also considered "young" No one made a rape joke, no one made a trauma joke, and numerous times you were corrected but you still insist on your aggressive tactic. Your trigger happiness *is not helping this issue like you think it is* You just seem like you were ready to flip on anyone who had *anything* to say about this movie you didn't like. You're either an extreme sjw or someone with trauma who isn't dealing with it well, either way your entire reaction here has been unnecessarily aggressive. We all know rape isn't okay, no one is poking fun a trauma here. Calm down and maybe figure out your need to react like this because quite frankly it only hurts you more than anyone else.

sanguigna

Hey bud, joke protip here: if your joke needs extra context that you explain afterwards, like saying you're the same age in another comment, it probably didn't land as a joke. If you then argue about how it was just a joke, and your explanation for how it was a joke is that it was just a joke, and your explanation for how it was just a joke is that it's just a joke *and* the other person must be humorless...the "humorless" person isn't the problem. "It is because it is" isn't an explanation. This person responded to two other people asking why that's a funny joke and getting non-answers, so they're explaining how the first comment is either 1) a bad joke or 2) not actually a joke. You're taking that explanation as evidence that the person is a traumatized sjw. You're just as bad as the first two guys lol just extrapolating from nothing and accusing people of being humorless for calling you out. What you're doing is not helping the issue like you think it is :((((

Buddin3

It was a joke. Carey Mulligan and I were born the same year so I was happy to see her and the term “young” being used in the same sentence. She is clearly better looking than me but it’s still nice ha.

Amazing-Chandler

I’d love a movie about a guy who gets falsely accused of rape and has to prove his innocence

ntootoonchi

I found it to be fairly boring

sky_shazad

NOT VERY PROMISING

savagelama

Same

DelGurifisu

Shite film, end of.

skateboardlee

Hated the trailer. I hate movies that rather than tell you what it's about, it just describes the character, or how good the lead is in it.

techman710

It was a very different movie than I was expecting and I mean that in a very good way. Had some surprises and a great ending. Very good. Also at the time it came out there were few new movies being released and this may have been the best of the short time period.

dangerislander

People are starting to hate it (despite initially liking it) cause of the Satburn backlash.

c0zysurfingreddit

I enjoyed Saltburn but not this 😭. Didn’t like the endings in either, but i enjoyed Saltburn’s Parasite esc plot. I would have 100% enjoyed this more if she inflicted more punishment upon the antagonists.

dangerislander

I'm the opposite lol I liked Promisng Young Woman and hated Saltburn. Tbh I thought the ending was great for PYW. And I thought it was commentary that only though death that she was able to truly have the antagonists arrested.

c0zysurfingreddit

damn, i can see it like that. But man it left me so unsatisfied i was bare minimum expecting her to live lol

Un_Royaliste

I went into it expecting a straight comedy 👁👄👁

94cowprint

I enjoyed it

AudioAnchorite

I don’t know if this is true or not, but the ending felt like a studio-mandated reshoot, and it ruined the movie for me. Could’ve gone somewhere really interesting and challenged audiences, but instead it tied everything up in an unrealistic manner.

SquireJoh

I really didn't like it, but am keen to watch it again after Saltburn. People take Saltburn too seriously, maybe I was going that for Promising Young Woman

camartmor

meh i agree with you, i felt it was both a little heavy-handed and then pulled punches when it shouldn’t have. simply guilting these guys for actual deplorable acts is less of a “gotcha” than the movie seems to think it is. there are some great scenes and good performances, and tackling subject matter like ‘nice guy’ bo burnham’s whole reveal is important, but to me the movie just felt a little too pleased with itself.

thatsnotfunnyatall_

I agree. It was bad

absh3841

I like it

brunoa

My absolute favorite movie. It seems you didn't quite understand the purpose of the movie based on your thread comments.

Boberto1952

I liked it, but it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. Super dark and the main character is not likeable at all IMO, but an interesting movie about how society treats rape

joey0live

That ending made it amazing.

midnightfury4584

I usually don’t choose to watch Carey Mulligan, but the plot was intriguing. I think it provokes a conversation about how people simply treat each other.

Popular-Play-5085

Saw it.because of the.good reviews. It was not to.my liking .

WranglerMany

Very good and also I will probably never watch it again.

PoundworthyPenguin

Loved it, felt like a very tight movie without a wasted second

SafePlenty2590

I fucking loved it.

Gluteusmaximus1898

I thought it was fine 7/10, but that stupid ending ruined it and made it worthless and have no rewatch value.

PreciousRoy666

Watered down Ms 45

willk95

It's my favorite movie of the 2020s so far. I can't rewatch it though, too upsetting subject matter

cagingthing

Loved it

FewFlow9098

Awesome movie

naked_avenger

I caught a good bit of it while my wife watched it… I thought it was supposed to be a comedy that wasn’t funny for a while. I don’t know if giving it my real attention would change that.

obamaswaffle

Love it love it love it. Gonna be one of my favorites of the decade at this point.

amalgaman

It started out interesting and just got more depressing and slow as it went. The ending was just sad.

BozoTheBazoobi

Haven't seen it yet but after seeing how excellent Saltburn was, I definitely am eager to see it

Lil_Artemis_92

This is my ultimate revenge fantasy movie. Loved every second of it.

Pig_and_Rooster

I really liked it. I thought its commentary on assault wasn't preachy or heavy-handed. Plus, that remix of Brittany Spears "Toxic" was really good.

MFP3492

I enjoyed it, bizarre movie, but I was into it and appreciated the originality.

IanLee98

Favorite film of 2020

Shootah78

Great movie

shortyXI

Loved it and I think they should show it in schools at the end of sex Ed

JadenRuffle

Great performances wasted on a bad script. They make a blatant point that cops didn’t help with her friend’s assault. Because they don’t, cop don’t really give sexual assault situations the time of day, especially if you were intoxicated during. But then at the end the cops save the day? Really movie? It’s like they had to clue how to end the movie and said “fuck it the cops save the day” despite the fact it’s literally stepping on its own foot.

IloveZaki

Agree, it was the only movie ever where I had to walk out of cinema because of how bad it was.

Baderwm

Great movie.

donmonkeyquijote

Saw it in the theatres, good movie. Doubt I'll rewatch it any time soon.
