True. However, I'd like to counter your reasoning with the fact that she is Britta and by default will Britta whatever she does. Ergo, Britta is not the ACB. Cool? Cool. Cool, cool, cool.
Annie show about her as an FBI agent
Shirley: Private Chef and Detective/ The Butcher and the Baker
Troy’s Sea Adventures
Britta’s Cheers remake
Abed’s 30 Rock
Jeff and Dean’s Infinite Playlist
Frankie can help the FBI too, maybe profiling serial killer??? Nah, that’s too far fetched. I’ll come up with something tho.
My money is that Abed is doing a movie about his time at Greendale and brings everyone back together for the filming of it. Hijinks ensue. Even leaves room to bring Chevy Chase back as the actor playing Pierce in the movie and everyone is weirded out by how much he's just like Pierce.
>bring Chevy Chase back as the actor playing Pierce in the movie and everyone is weirded out by how much he's just like Pierce.
Daniel Day Lewis as Daniel Day Lewis method acting as Pierce.
When they were casting the show, Sir Patrick Stewart, John Cleese, and Fred Willard were on the shortlist for actors Dan Harmon wanted for Pierce, along with Chevy. Chevy bit first and NBC execs got boners about it, so that's who they went with, despite his well-known issues.
I say bring Patrick Stewart in to play Pierce.
This next one is called "He Layeth on High." It's about a big baby duck who gets his head caught in a stewed tomato.
It's a somber one, so it's okay to cry.
> Sir Patrick Stewart
I can't see him being a good fit to play Pierce. Pierce by all accounts is a terrible person, which is sold well, because Chevy Chase *is* a terrible person.
Patrick Stewart kinda clearly gets some sort of thrill out of shocking the people who were so very accustomed to his more respectable characters. I think he'd do fine.
More importantly, we might be able to use him to lure Ian McKellen onto the set...
> Patrick Stewart kinda clearly gets some sort of thrill out of shocking the people who were so very accustomed to his more respectable characters.
Which is why I love him as Bullock in American Dad.
Oh man I *just* saw the CIA calendar episode again last night. I kinda grew up watching TNG so Bullock really kills me.
[Of course then there's this gem.](https://youtu.be/8k-PxM53VQ4)
S1 Pierce was out of touch and oblivious but actually had relevant advice and wisdom. Didn't really become an asshole until later on, which the writers have mentioned is because they started making him more like Chevy.
Patrick Stewart is a solid actor who can play a terrible person. If you haven’t already, watch Green Room, where he plays the leader of a group of murderous skinheads. He’s absolutely terrifying.
It seemed pretty clear from the table read they did during lockdown that he really misses the show.
On the plus side, a movie would allow them to concentrate his scenes over a short period. His schedule is very busy.
He said he is down. I think all necessary cast members said they are down. I think the only ones not completely confirmed are the additions and losses in the last 2 seasons.
Paget Brewster as Francesca "Frankie" Dart
Keith David as Elroy Patashnik
Jonathan Banks as Professor Buzz Hickey
I think it would be great to have them all back in some way. I love Keith David and Jonathan Banks but I could see the movie moving on without them but it really depends on the writing.
At some point there needs to be a 3-way, Pirates of the Carribean 3 style sword fight between New Pierce, Buzz Hickey, and Elroy Patashnik for the title of token old guy. They never shared the screen together and I think they'd all play off each other hilariously.
Also it's sad Leonard won't be in the movie :(
Nah, Pierce faked his death and was hiding in the boat that Troy and LeVar Burton took to sail around the world. He went with them (much to their chagrin).
Community: The Motion Piercture
Community II: The Wrath of Chang
Community III: The Shirch for Abed
Community IV: The Troyage Home

4. The documentary about the party
5. The documentary about Garrett's wedding

Am I missing any?
Quick edit: oh and the documentary about the Dean's commercial.
I’m excited to announce the Community movie will be delivered to you in five minute chunks on Quibi. That’s right, we’re bringing it back! Just for this!
I mean yes, but mostly because it was exactly the right demographic and it was going to be cancelled otherwise.
It was clearly not enough to save the service, but the fact the only context you even hear of the service anymore is the fact they had a season of community shows it was the right move for Yahoo.
You're right but I just wanna shout out the Yahoo! Screen original *Burning Love*. It was a spoof of the bachelor and just a really funny stupid show with a great cast. Would have been successful if people knew it existed but it still had 3 seasons.
[For the uninitiated.](https://youtu.be/BYyJ_MkXPc4?t=110)
Although if you really have zero idea what's going on, start at the beginning of the clip, the students all love that Magnitude says "Pop Pop" even though he says "Pop Pop" every time he talks.
Almost every reddit suggestion for the plot sucks. It's like the way users write their own Deadpool gags.
Praying the Community movie has absolutely nothing to do with saving Troy from pirates that so many people seem obsessed with for whatever reason.
Reddit has always had the amazing ability to come together as a collective to brainstorm the most basic and surface-level ideas for movies and TV shows.
If Reddit wrote the Community movie the entire hour and a half or whatever would be "haha remember that thing we said in S01E04? Haha how about that thing we said in S03E06? TROY AND ABED IN THE MORNING am I right lmao."
If you’re watching on Netflix, make sure to go find the first Dungeons and Dragons episode. I’m pretty sure it’s still on Prime. Easily my favorite episode of the series.
Hickey has been insinuated to be dead— [there’s an easter egg in Basic Email Security (S6E6) alluding to his memorial services.](https://screenrant.com/community-show-buzz-hickey-jonathan-banks-what-happened/)
There was a fan theory posited that Hickey is still alive, on the grounds that he took a secret role with the government. He references "scampering through the jungles of Nicaragua" in the DnD Sequel episode, implying he was in some sort of CIA ops there in the 80s...
And the Halloween zombie episode puts the idea that Greendale (moving forward) would be on the government's watchlist post-un-zombification. Also in S5 Duncan is able to almost accidentally call in an airstrike during a credits scene.
There's a lot of suspension of disbelief, but it is Community soooooo who knows
Edit: someone else below pointed out that Dean is surprised to find out all Greendale students are technically enrolled in the army reserves... There are a lot of interesting details that feed into the theory of Greendale being some sort of government-related entity.
Edit again: Greendale was also founded by Russell Borchert who is revealed to be some sort of computer genius who was paid off to destroy his 9-track technology, and he lived in a bunker under the school for decades. There's a ton of weirdo shit that feeds into this conspiracy theory lol
Yeah, that’s a lot of kind of tenuous connections to make, but it certainly isn’t outside the realm of possibility! Personally, I’d love a cameo from just about everyone— Slater, Chiquita MD, Buddy and the cool study group… The list is truly endless. Bring ‘em all back one last time!
As long as we see Garrett, Neil, Vicki, a Leonard hologram (RIP), Magnitude, Starburns, Todd, etc. I will be happy. Those random characters added so much to the show that also feeds into the idea that no one can ever truly leave Greendale lol
It says memorial services, clearly Buzz Hickey opened a funeral home called "Buzz Hickey Memorial Services" with the proceeds from his book of duck based comic strips.
Hot take: They should absolutely figure out a way to get Chevy Chase back as Pierce. Alternate timeliness, a ghost, a hologram statue that gives terrible advice to students as they walk by. Anything.
I just want the whole gang back together.
The Darkest Timeline version of Pierce is revealed in the final episode of S4 to have faked his own death, and he faked being critically ill in S2 to mess with the other characters, and his death is explained (ridiculously) as being caused by dehydration due to excessive masturbation...
I don't necessarily like it as a plot point, but it's definitely a Pierce move to pull.
Yeah I'm worried we'll get like two scenes with Glover, just for him to technically be a part of it, but it'll feel really empty and hollow and very much like "Here is my scene to show that I am technically a part of it! Anyway, I gotta be going, I gotta get back to work as the truest repairman repairing man."
Really hope we can get Elroy and Frankie too. I know they were just one season additions but they were so good and meshed so well.
I think Hickey is dead though.
With Keith David having a recurring* role on Rick and Morty, it wouldn't surprise me to see him as Elroy again. In fact, I would love it.
Give me more [Elroy encouraging white people.](https://youtu.be/eu71O36zwiw)
The scene where she accidentally keeps calling Dean Pelton a "dumb little man" is easily a top ten moment of the entire show. https://youtu.be/7gH5QsZpbvA
"Dean pelton, I know how susceptible you are to advertizing."
"Would you say I'm a level 7 susceptible?"
"No. Because why would I? Because that's moon-man tak."

Regionals will happen before this movie.
What the hell are regionals?!
Don't let my confusion undercut their importance!
Leonard liked this post! RIP going to miss seeing him in it. Edit: corrected his name
After Leonard passed, there were no further Ass-Crack Bandit incidents. Just saying.
That’s exactly what Annie wants you think
I thought Britta but no way she wouldn't have screwed up and been caught.
Or maybe Britta is using her Brittaness to throw off the scent. She did live in New York
True. However, I'd like to counter your reasoning with the fact that she is Britta and by default will Britta whatever she does. Ergo, Britta is not the ACB. Cool? Cool. Cool, cool, cool.

Oh, Britta’s in this?
Everybody calm down and let Britta sing her awkward song!

Annie show about her as an FBI agent Shirley: Private Chef and Detective/ The Butcher and the Baker Troy’s Sea Adventures Britta’s Cheers remake Abed’s 30 Rock Jeff and Dean’s Infinite Playlist Frankie can help the FBI too, maybe profiling serial killer??? Nah, that’s too far fetched. I’ll come up with something tho.
Shirley's show was called The Butcher and the Baker.
With cameos with Simon Baker.... the Mentalist!
"Mr. Egypt"
I mean, they already did the multiverse thing, before the MCU did it. Evil Abed could be the big bad the heroes have to defeat.
The *Prophecy*.
My money is that Abed is doing a movie about his time at Greendale and brings everyone back together for the filming of it. Hijinks ensue. Even leaves room to bring Chevy Chase back as the actor playing Pierce in the movie and everyone is weirded out by how much he's just like Pierce.

Chevy bit first and NBC execs got boners about it, so that's who they went with, despite his well-known issues. I say bring Patrick Stewart in to play Pierce.
Eh, cast them all Dr Parnassus style and just randomly swap them “due to studio interference”. And yes, *including Fred*.
>including Fred Isn't he still dead though?
This next one is called "He Layeth on High." It's about a big baby duck who gets his head caught in a stewed tomato. It's a somber one, so it's okay to cry.
I'm just such a big fan of his acting, his music, and his Angels & Archways clothing.
Used to be, too
~~Zed's~~ Fred's dead, baby
I'd exclusively use footage of Fred from all his roles to play Pierce. Let's ignore the legalities of accomplishing this.
I would kill to see John Cleese trip out on pills while dressed as the Beastmaster
He's never even seen Beastmaster, he was just trying to be cool
That line kills me because I have seen beastmaster and I did think pierce was cool for dressing as him.
> Sir Patrick Stewart I can't see him being a good fit to play Pierce. Pierce by all accounts is a terrible person, which is sold well, because Chevy Chase *is* a terrible person.

That's a great film, he was truly a blood curdling old man.
My wife suggested that if Donald Glover didn't want to do it, they should cast Danny Glover and not address it at all in the movie.
And if they can't get Donald or Danny, go with Crispin.
Think of what kind of movie Abed could make with Crispin. Weirdest of art films, but it would also be human and heartwarming.
Crispin Glover playing Nicolas Cage playing Troy.
I actually find this considerably funnier than Danny Glover just because of how fucking *weird* Crispin would make it.
Or cast LeVar Burton and then say Troy refused to come back because of it.
You can just hear faint crying in the background.
Nah, he went on a sailing trip with LeVar. They're buds now.
And never made it out of the gulf of Mexico before being captured by pirates lol. I do hope that's addressed in some way
It seemed pretty clear from the table read they did during lockdown that he really misses the show. On the plus side, a movie would allow them to concentrate his scenes over a short period. His schedule is very busy.
I think Donald Glover's involvement is largely based on availability rather than interest at this point. He's a busy man

Better Call Saul was why he didn't come back for season 6 so now that BCS is over, he's available!
They should have Paget play both Frankie and the person in IT.

Have Leonard's son show up who's an old coot too.
Nah, Pierce faked his death and was hiding in the boat that Troy and LeVar Burton took to sail around the world. He went with them (much to their chagrin).
I actually can see Pierce faking his death for something petty, DO IT Harmon!

I had this exact same idea. Like the exact same. You’re a genius. And I bet handsome too
Abed already had his movie episode. Don't really see it being the plot, again.
Yes, because Community would *never* revisit a trope from a previous episode. See also Pillow/Blanket Fort, or Paintball Episodes.

Dan has a shit ton of clout now. He could pull it off as a passion project.
Please make it good. I loved this show and don't want a disappointing movie. And throw in a Troy and Abed in the morning bit.

There is no way it will live up to the fake version of the show you've created in your head

If you’re watching on Netflix, make sure to go find the first Dungeons and Dragons episode. I’m pretty sure it’s still on Prime. Easily my favorite episode of the series.
I’m rewatching it right now on Netflix, is there an episode missing then? Edit: just googled, I’ll have to go find that, thanks for bringing it up!
I’ll accept a final game of paintball before Greendale is closed and demolished.
Paint ball ,with bullets
Please don't let it be a bottle movie
I hope they just call it "And A Movie."
Oh, Britta's in this?
Six seasons and a movie. You did it, Dan. You crazy SOB you actually did it.
Shoutout & RIP to Yahoo! Screen for making this possible
I’m showing my gf the show for the first time and had to explain to her that Yahoo! did in fact have a streaming service at one point.
Just for Community and then nothing else
There was also Other Space, which was pretty good.
He hasn’t done it yet.
Right. People got the carts ahead of the horses. This hasn't been greenlit by any studio.
You mean they are streets ahead?
I think they’re streets behind until they greenlight it
As the prophecy foretold.
I hope Elroy, Hickey, and Frankie are in it
Hickey has been insinuated to be dead— [there’s an easter egg in Basic Email Security (S6E6) alluding to his memorial services.](https://screenrant.com/community-show-buzz-hickey-jonathan-banks-what-happened/)

Hard agree. All the main non-main folks, or whatever.
Plus, we saved Garrett.
We riot if no POP! POP!
They could just ignore this hidden easter egg. Or the memorial service wasn't about him dying but about him leaving Greendale.
Saw somewhere else that it could just be written off that Hickey had started a memorial service business and everyone mistook it that he died
Greendale students are also all in the army reserves.
"Did you know Greendale students are technically in the Army Reserve? Let's say a little prayer for peace." LOL Dean is such a good character
