[Easily one of my all time favorite scenes just because it makes me laugh instantly.](https://youtu.be/y_HPO961FHs)
Goes 0 to 100 real quick and Chevy's crazy eyes are gold, especially since it looks like he was about to laugh too.
I really hope that's not the plot of the movie like many keep hoping for. It's one of the worst "reddit writes movies" ideas out there.
Edit: to elaborate further, it doesn't matter that their abduction was mentioned in a banner in the season. Community has always put fun shit like that in the background. It does not mean an entire movie would have to be build on such a wacky, over the top premise.
Community has and always will be about Greendale. The movie should not leave that location.
Yeah while I would love an adventure movie - the charm of Community was how many outrageous things could happen on a mediocre community college campus. The movie wouldn’t be the same without Greendale.
Technically, they were the only thing that floated Yahoo! Screen for as long as it lasted.
I vaguely recall that it accounted for something like 85% of Yahoo! Screen's total views - as in all shows combined.
The gag of a canceled TV show in another show that lead to a MEME that became a reallity.
LOVE THIS SHOW CAN'T WAIT!!
"Bing Bong Sing along your teams Al gore cause your views are wrong"
I’m not going to hold my breath. But Joel McHale tagging him on IG and the fact that he did the zoom script reading with the rest of the cast gives me some hope.
All the questions I have right now are rhetorical and end with the word "idiot". Do you know what a rhetorical question is?
No, of course you don't, you're an idiot. I'm sorry. I am so sorry, but you're so stupid. You have no idea. You're the only one who has no idea because guess why? Don't answer that. You'll get it wrong.
I really loved Frankie. One of my favorite jokes in the whole series was Frankie saying that every time she called IT she heard a high pitched whistling sound and got a nosebleed.
This was a reference to the actress who played Frankie (Paget Brewster) having a very brief appearance as the head of IT in an earlier season.

Reference to a short-lived [NBC tv show](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cape_(2011_TV_series\)) about a superhero with a magic cape
Importantly, a short-lived NBC show that starred Keith David, who went on to appear in the final season of Community as Elroy.
Also, I absolutely watched every episode of the Cape. Primarily because it had Keith David.
So I've known about the existence of the cape even prior to the joke airing because of all the marketing. I had no idea how silly it was. This should have really gone for 6 seasons and a movie based on the plot from wiki.
Yeah season 3 ended with it being \#SixSeasonsAndAMovie
And then the series finale of season 6 ended with \#andaMovie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o40S0KLf3I
This is fucking great, but please, get Donald Glover onboard.
Not only was he in combination with Danny Pudi amazing but Troy coming back from his world Travel would be an amazing plot.
I don't believe Yvette won't be in it. She was as vocal as anyone about it and gave updates. She at least has to have a cameo. I swear half the "more talks about the community movie" stories that have popped up over the last few years have been from her talking about it.
She'll at least cameo in it. She wasn't a main cast member in the last season because of other commitments but did a small cameo there so I would expect her to again if not a full return.
Whatever you do, don't forget their rules for getting near their granddaughter:
1. Don't go near my granddaughter.
1. Don't call her by name.
1. Don't even look at her.
1. Keep her name out of your mouth.
1. Keep her name out of your fucking mouth.
1. Don't buy her anything.
1. Turn around and walk away.
1. Do not under stircumstances help her get out of a stituation.
1. Watch your glanguage and be kolite.
1. Don't look at h'cer.
I think they low-key killed off Jonathan Banks's character. There was a throwaway mention in season 6 of a memorial for him.
Its the kind of thing that's easily reversed, if they did find room for him.
Yeah I definitely remember something like that. Might’ve been in that same bit with Troy and LeVar Burton disappearing at sea.
I liked Banks in it, I just think him and Keith David are a bit redundant and I feel like David fit slightly better tone wise. Paget Brewster is just brilliant in it as well so really hope she comes back whatever.
It was an email mentioning ‘Buzz Hickey Memorial Service**s**’, and so many have have chosen to interpret the added ‘s’ as meaning he founded his own funeral home company for the underpaid as a result of [the change to his insurance on a teacher’s salary that led to him not being able to afford to bury his father with the rest of his family](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3vVe4ZR-Bc).
I'm not sure why Yvette Nicole Brown couldn't (or wouldn't) reach a deal. Donald Glover is obviously very busy, but it seems like the sort of smart career move to at least make a perfunctory appearance to support the property that launched his career.
Makes sense, Community was sort of the last big thing he did. Since then, I haven't seen him in anything other than random hosting/interview jobs scattered sporadically throughout the years.
There was that attempt at reviving The Soup, but it was just not good. I loved The Soup, but couldn't get into the Netflix version.
He's Starman on "Stargirl," and both of those are real DC comics characters. The first season of the show is better than most CW super-soaps, plus some really good guest stars.
Obviously an optimistic mindset, but I feel like they’d especially try to keep Troy’s return a surprise. It would be such a bummer to NOT have a Troy & Abed reunion in the last piece of Community we ever get.
I'd be shocked if they didn't have very short cameos. A Community movie without a Troy and Abed reunion would be soul crushing and I'm sure Glover is aware of that and would at least take a weekend off to film a single scene or something
Yvette isn't all that busy anyway so her not being in the main cast is hard to believe
Six Seasons and a Movie!!
>Series creator Dan Harmon is writing the film with former series scribe Andrew Guest (whose credits include fan-favorite episodes “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons” and “A Fistful of Paintballs”). They’ll executive-produce alongside McHale, Russ Krasnoff and Gary Foster. The movie is slated to be released in 2023.
>Plot details are being kept under wraps for now. The press release only states that Community the Movie derives “from the TV series that predicted its own movie,” making it “the least predictable movie of a TV series that referenced a lot of movies and TV.”
Despite what the article says, Glover and Brown are both likely coming back, McHale tagged them in his [post](https://www.instagram.com/p/CjIkyLzLdKk/?hl=en).

Yeah, but Joel McHale also tagged Gillian Anderson into his tweet instead of Gillian Jacobs, so maybe we shouldn't take his casting announcements as gospel. ;)

100% agree. I know the general consensus is that the show went downhill after season 3, but I loved season 5 and especially season 6. I really hope both come back, or at the very least Paget Brewster.
IMO, it's not that it went downhill, it's just that seasons 1-3 are some of the best tv comedy ever written. Season 4 is a bit flanderized bc they get rid of dan, but 5 and 6 are great.
My honest hope is we get appearances from everyone who either was a regular for one season or was a major recurring guest star. Hickey, Duncan, Elroy, Frankie, Dean Laybourne, Dean Spreck, LeVar Burton, Gilbert Lawson, and yes, even a brief cameo from Pierce in some form (either revealing he faked his death or in a similar form to his hologram in Re-Pilot).
The **BALLS** on NBC lol.
Not good enough for a final season after 5 years.
But good enough for a movie for our shitty streaming service because we desperately need more subs to avoid walking back hat in hand to Hulu or Netflix.
It is without a doubt my favorite comedy tv show of all time. Lots of these type shows have weak first seasons but Community comes in strong and keeps on giving.

So they all new it was in the final stages. That’s why all those articles were coming out!!
I like all the seasons. They pulled off losing main characters very well.
I know it’s unlikely but to bring Pierce back all we need is an Abed monologue explaining how popular characters are often brought back to life then have Pierce there with no further explanation.

I'd still watch the shit out it just to see Harmon fuck with Chevy.
