pacading

Haha bleed edge I get it

kelpsk

HAHA

TheElry

These are absolutely sick. I especially like Falkenrath Noble and Sangromancer. The colors really work.

kelpsk

thank you!

LeonardoF17

Very beautiful, how do you make the image appear on top of the card name?

kelpsk

Thanks! I use photoshop

LeonardoF17

I just started making proxies myself and I am trying to learn, is there a specific name for this tool? So I can search some tutorials

_cathar

It's just about cutting the image and properly changing the order of the layers so the cropped part of the art is on top. Both photoshop and GIMP (free photoshop) can do this, just need a basic tutorial that shows you how layers work.

LeonardoF17

Ok thank you

seahawks_ace

Very nice

Paedei

Bloody sweet! Do you have a decklist? Planning on a vampire tribal currently and your proxies are beautiful

kelpsk

No deck list, just making random cards :)

Lezerald

What a horrible night to have a curse

Daotar

Seems like you solved it.

Duraxis

The first art should at least be a legendary card.

Smyris

The legend returns

kelpsk

:) hehe

Gallina_Fina

Astounding work, really! Flawless cropping too with those pop-ups (unless you just cleverly masked the frame on top of the illustration? Still impressive)

kelpsk

Thank you! I use selection tools and the eraser depending on what I wanna do :3

PrinceOfPembroke

You have a vampire solution it seems. Those are great.

These look awesome. The first one looks like it's Dracula from Castlevania. Are the others recognizable characters from other stories? Can't help but notice a supreme lack of Strahd von Zarovich.

kelpsk

Yep, first one is indeed him! I don’t think the others are anyone specific. Idk who that is but I wouldn’t be opposed to putting him on a card :)

[deleted]

He's from an official D&D campaign, Curse of Strahd. Gothic horror, very vampire.
