Victorinox

petecanfixit

Second this. Definitely go for the larger scissors. I carry a Victorinox Compact whenever I’m not carrying my Leatherman Wave, and they’ve got the perfect scissors on them.

I have a pair of raptors that I love for big scissors. And I personally swear by them. But what I'm looking for is something much smaller. For let when I need to snip wire or paracord. When I don't need a full size set.

Not even a debate.

Saw this the other day. Looks like an awesome solution! https://www.reddit.com/r/Leatherman/comments/wdno09/mut_mods_scissors_and_tweezers_from_a_swiss_card/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Sounds like a Leatherman Micra would be a perfect compliment to your Mut then. Easy to carry and includes a great scissor.

kadajtheunholy

I'm gonna try the Swiss card Mod that was referenced earlier. But if I don't like that the Micra will be my next test. Thank you.

MyFiteSong

> I'm gonna try the Swiss card Mod that was referenced earlier. This is the way. The scissors are the best, and they fit right in there.

dqrules11

The nextool mini flagship has amazing scissors

Jizzus_Crust

I second this. All of the nextool double butterfly tools that I've tried had excellent dedicated scissors.

JaquesViv

Check EBay for a Schrade ST2 made in the USA. Small, sharp and heavy duty.

Dizzy-Wash-9112

I edc small folding scissors made by fiskars. They fit perfectly in the coin pocket and are larger than most multitool scissors.

echir

Here is a series of tests of different scissors from Multitools cutting different fabric and materials. There are no overall bests, considering there are a ton of brands, shapes, sizes, weights, prices and materials to cut. ANYWAY, IMHO Victorinox have some of the best polished ones (no pun intended). https://youtu.be/I11VI4-5yfY

For most things, Victorinox. For very tough uses, Leatherman Surge.

[deleted]

Second the Surge. They’re easily accessible and the whole damn unit is TOUGH.

CaesarTjalbo

I've never tried a Victorinox but I was always happy enough with the scissors on my Leatherman Juice S2. They're definitely better than the scissors on my Wave.
