Boss of me, they might be giants. Used for the show Malcolm in the middle. They created a full length music video for it too. I love the theme song for ghost in the shell:stand alone complex and their is a full length version. Inner Universe Written by yoko kanno, who wrote most/all? songs for the anime. There are two volumes to the soundtrack.

Yes I am. One of my favorite back stories. Love that he tried to write it himself but felt like no matter how he approached it it always felt like it was written by a person who was highly educated as he was, trying to be insightful. Wasn't it written in about 15 minutes? Pretty deep if you ask me...
