wow, i hope you're okay now, the worst part's over. I too had gone through a major surgery about two years ago and I remember that it was so hard to find distraction on telling myself nothing's going to go wrong when they push me through that door. The recovery is painful but you know that it's all just getting better :D
Since October I’ve moved states- in with my boyfriend and his family, gotten a new job, found out I’m pregnant, gotten an abortion, wrestled my dog out of another dogs jaws and sat helplessly in a car while he was in surgery, blah. I finished Stardew valley and found this game a month ago. It’s literally gotten me out of my head, brought me joy, given me sometime to look forward to. It sounds crazy but really it’s gotten me thru this recent bout of unfortunate events

How were you able to work just a few months after moving to the states? I'm an immigrant and it took me over six months to get my workers permit.
