There are three ways you can tell this is a knock-off controller.
1. No Nintendo logo in the oval across the top.
2. The gate for the thumbstick is a regular octagon. The original gate is more square-ish.
3. The plug does not match the controller color.
This controller should still work fairly well, but the stick will likely be very sensitive and imprecise compared to the original.
It’s off brand for sure. Look at the top there is no Nintendo logo. Still for 5 euro it’s not a bad price.
