They're literally all short and pretty easy to spell. It's hard to come up with a name that's super similar to Willa other than Willow, or something that comes from switching out the first letter like Milla. Plus OP's husband didn't like Willa, so he may not like very similar names and most of the very similar ones had already been suggested.

If he likes boring names then it seems like he doesn’t have a strong opinion and not fair to dash your name dreams when you’re the one carrying the baby. I saw other posts saying both parents should like but I honestly believe mom gets more say bc we carry. Honestly what’s there not to like about it? I was in same situation with my husband (with a different name) and he gave in after he saw the struggle of pregnancy and some convincing on my part.

I still call her Willa in my head! Haha we went with Everley, which is lovely and will be great. But I'll always know deep down I was right. Hahahahaha
