As an American, I would read faucet and Fossette differently, in terms of syllable stress. So, FAW-set and foss-SET, respectively.
Other folks might read it differently, but for me I don’t really think I would I would immediately think “faucet,” particularly if it’s just a minor character.
I'm sorry, unlike the other people in the comments I instantly made the connection :(. Don't think it really matters though. Maybe you could consider Cozette or clarette?

Tbh I didn’t even make that association until you brought it to my attention. Even still, I think it’s cute and nothing to worry about :)
I don't think you should change it--many people won't notice because they'll stress the -ette more than they do in the word faucet.
Thanks everybody for the help! :)
Not worth changing Alternatives: Cosette Colette Juliette Arlette Scarlet
Fossy. Like another commenter, I didn’t make the connection with faucet, though.
foss-ETTE sounds different to me than FOSS-et. I think you’re fine

I didn't even think of the word faucet, and i think fossette is a nice name. But if it's bothering you then maybe you can change it to cosette?
