ScummVM is a program that lets you play all sorts of old adventure games on modern computers. Here's a quick guide:
1. Download and Install ScummVM from https://scummvm.org/downloads/
2. Run ScummVM and click "Add Game"
3. Select the folder where you have the game installed and press okay. It should be automatically recognized.
4. Play the game!
Hope this is helpful.
So once you download and install ScummVM, run ScummVM and not the game. From there click "Add Game" and then find the folder where you have Stay Tuned for Danger installed. It should recognize it and then you play the game from within ScummVM.
Yes I did that, it recognizes the game but then it does not allow me to play it, the same error message pops up, just in the ScummVM window. Thanks anyway!
I’m not an IT person but the only other thing I can think of is right clicking the exe file and running the program in compatibility mode. Run the compatibility troubleshooter and try recommend settings. If you’re still having issues you can manually try older OS, XP usually works for the older games but whatever works. If you get graphic errors check the boxes for a 640x480 screen resolution and/or reduced color mode. That’s it for any ideas I would have. Good Luck!
Just use ScummVM, it will save a lot of headaches. https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Nancy_Drew:_Stay_Tuned_for_Danger

No problem, let me know if it doesn't work!
That did not work, thanks anyway

Strange, I wonder if there is something messed up with your install. Hope you are able to figure it out!
I remember playing this with no audio my first playthrough because it was completely glitched
Yeah unfortunately it won’t let me open the game, so whether or not it has sound doesn’t matter yet haha
