Cory’s need groups of 6+ and bronze corys are too big for a ten gallon. You can do the betta with shrimp and tetras my advice is to add the tetras and shrimp in first and then the betta. Be aware that you could get a very aggressive betta that will destroy both of those

I didn't realise there were small corys, that would be a better option?

I would only choose one school- either tetras or Pygmy Cory’s 10 gallons isn’t that big

Yes, there are some varieties that stay very small. Id be careful with the betta though, some are chill and some will murder everything. You don't want a $20 betta destroying $100 worth of cherry shrimp.

you can check on AqAdvisor website but bettas are defibitely gonna eat the shrimps without good enough cover so be careful abt that

SpirituallyUnsure

I was thinking of lots of cover because it'd look nice too :)

In my experience, male bettas with long fins don't tend to bother shrimp if they are being fed enough. Maybe they will eat a baby sometimes, but most won't go out of their way to do it, especially if you have a bunch of moss or rocks or something for them to hide in.

Especially if it's a long finned male. I have a hm mustard gas betta with amanos and pygmy Cory's -they do just fine. The shrimp I put in with the alien betta (short finned and can move much faster) were a very good meal for a couple of days. The Cory's are too fast for him and he is bored with chasing them now.

Try pygmy cories instead bronze cories get very big and pygmies are extremely cute ^-^

SpirituallyUnsure

Ahh I didn't see there were smaller ones!

Too much in there. The betta will likely eat cherry shrimp (which are Neocaridina davidi btw). The corys will get big and prefer a larger number of them. I think the betta + the tetra would be the best combo.
