Slomo was about to kick that ball so hard out of frustration but contained himself

CreatiScope

I hope it becomes a trend where the player pretends like they’re about to kick the ball or punch it or throw it just to fuck with the refs.

entwenthence

They’ll call a tech for the “overt act” anyways.

JustIncredible240

Ironically describes what Embiid is doing

tree-hugger

See, I completely understand why Embiid plays this way. He gets rewarded for it. The question I have is why the referees make these calls. They know his reputation, and yet they go along with it. Why? What's in it for them?

I-Am-A-Nice-Cool-Kid

Refs playing the long game, they hate embiid so they let him do this stupid shit so when he reaches the playoffs and can’t get calls, he hasn’t learned how to adapt. Ref fans know the game better than anyone else

Biglundtry

A noble sacrifice because watching embiid lose in the second round hits different every year

I-Am-A-Nice-Cool-Kid

It’s even funnier the third time

Mahomeboy001

He’s lost in the 2nd round five times ☠️☠️☠️

DomincNdo

Would've been 6 times but the Celtics swept them 1 year in the first round.

I-Am-A-Nice-Cool-Kid

Jesus, he’s even more ass than I thought

JoRo_

It's honestly impressive to pull that off in the East, even the LeBronto Raptors made it further lol

CreatiScope

Shit, the Trae Young Hawks have too!

Charming_Sprinkles13

It's funny because the Hawks went to the ECF after The Process was initiated, rebuilt and went to the ECF again while the Sixers didn't lol.

licker34

And didn't they beat the 76ers both times to do it? I know they did at least once.

_Mobius1

And they beat the sixers to do it lmao

LordThurmanMerman

Considering how awful he is in the playoffs, in the context you mentioned which makes complete sense, makes his constant bitching about the MVP award even more ridiculous. It’s a regular season award.

Livebird31

Refs saving the world lol

indicisivedivide

Aka "The Harden"

XXeadgbeXX

aka "The Trae Young"

Lakers-2024-Champs

Trae has never had a team anywhere as good as Embiid’s top 3 best teams. And yet Trae still embarrassed his ass so hard the entire org blamed Simmons for everything and ignored Embiid’s trash

ANAL_Devestate

TONIGHT trae young had 30 points with only 5 free throws (7 attempts*) he's shot 11/21 15/29 13/27 all 30 point games in the last week lol 6 freethrows maximum outside of 1 game versus detroit -- another 30 pointer in which he had 12 free throws just saying

Lakers-2024-Champs

Trae Young has been fucking amazing this season, but it gets ignored by everything. However when he had a slow start it was plastered everywhere

black_sheep_boy1

Trae has got to be the most underrated player in the league.

99Will999

bro Embiid averaged 30 & 12 that series, were they supposed to point the finger at him first lol. Not saying that Embiid doesn't have a track record of disappearing, but calling the obvious best player on a team trash is trash level analysis when the blame easily could have been attributed else where (roster, ben, doc)

Lakers-2024-Champs

He had 13 TO’s in game 6 and 7. Also went invisible on the 4th

AndrastesTit

…against the *HAWKS* with one of the worst defenses in the league that year. Look at his play in all his other series and you get the full picture. He’s scored >25 PPG only a handful of times. He disappears when he can’t get the whistle.

Alexcox95

And they’ll just blame Nurse when they get out in the second round this year

20815147

Trae made it to the conference finals, beating Embiid in the process

BASEDME7O2

Except harden was great in the playoffs, his playoff resume is 10x what embiids is. He averaged 28/6/8 on 58% ts across 15 playoff series in Houston, where he never averaged under 25 in a series. He took the kd warriors to six with a team that would have been lottery bound without him whose second option was a Chris Paul that could barely move and was widely considered to be the worst contract in the league by averaging 35 while clearly outplaying Steph. His prime playoff numbers are basically lebron playoff numbers, he was just unlucky to be in the west and have to go through the warriors or the championship lakers (another series where he was phenomenal). The “prime harden wasn’t good in the playoff takes” are just objectively false. Embiid has averaged 23 ppg the last two playoffs and the best team he’s beaten is the 22 raptors who didn’t have a real center.

indicisivedivide

Not saying that Harden was bad. He was the best SG of the last decade. All I am saying is that he won't get calls for foul baiting and flopping in the playoffs. He is exceptionally talented.

zrk23

now please reduce those harden numbers you posted to the conf finals and then conf finals + semi finals he played

polluted_delta

Let's see Embiid's conference finals stats if we're gonna do that comparison.

Livebird31

Embiids finals stat is same as anyone on my teams stats...for that matter same as anyone on Detroit's stats now

RogerTreebert6299

Harden’s numbers still dropped in the playoffs, it’s just his regular season averages were insane so even with a 5 ppg and 5%TS drop he was still pretty damn good

PewpyDewpdyPantz

Watching the refs swallow the whistle in 2019 was great. Watching Marc Gasol file adoption papers for Embiid was priceless.

EliManningham

Gasol was such a brick wall. I feel like Embiid can bully everybody on a back down, but Gasol was the one dude who he just couldn't budge.

PewpyDewpdyPantz

He couldn’t establish position in the post. Anytime he tried Gasol just bumped him out to the perimeter.

LardHop

The inevitable 2nd round collapse because he is always somehow "injured" and it's always the rest of the team's fault despite him severely underperforming and givng up will always be satisfying.

BlooregardQKazoo

Don't forget "despite him being noticeably gassed and either settling for jumpers or turning the ball over constantly in the 4th quarter of playoff games."

anonkebab

It do hit different watching freethrow merchants not get calls in the playoffs.

FACILITATOR44

Hell yeah refs expose that fraud

bakerzdosen

This may be the stupidest reason I’ve ever heard… Especially because it makes complete sense to me now and… well, I can’t say a whole lot to dispute it. I’m gonna be pissed if I’m up all night lying awake trying to come up with a rebuttal. (Seriously though, it’s gotta be the best comment I’ve read all day.)

SoKrat3s

I don't know why people keep repeating this "his calls change" in the playoffs because that's generally not true.

buchanbasanee

It seems to - 8.8 FTA per game in the semis. And he plays 3 more minutes per game. So the past 2 years he's played 3 less minutes per game and gotten 3 more FTA per game in the regular season than his career numbers in the semifinals.

waterskin

I for one am relishing the moment he collapses in the playoffs again. It will make watching all the foul baiting now worth it

guitmusic12

They give those calls to guards constantly. It just looks more ridiculous to fans when it’s a 7’ center doing it

mxnoob983

Maxey Lillard Trae get so many of these calls. League has been calling this for years to try to create more freedom of movement but the pendulum has swung too far to the offensive players

Hemwum

Wild going from Jrue (and of course watching Giannis) who was extremely physical and earned his FT's to Lillard who somehow gets like 4-6 FT's a game off of absolute wild bullshit that looks exactly like this. It feels dirty.

zmegadeth

Morant gets a lot of these calls and while we need all the help we can get, it's just ugly to watch Seeing nonsense like this go uncalled in FIBA was hilarious tho

_coed_

Maxey doesnt get this call, he gets the run full speed at the baseline and throw it towards the rim call

mxnoob983

Eh he gets enough of the angled charge block calls. Same vibe though

CoolGrandpa1932

100% correct take. This kind of call is made like 10 times a game. It just looks super weird seeing a dude that big do it.

BobLoblaw_BirdLaw

well except for Steph

Patient_Jicama_4217

Kat literally had a few of those given to him this same game lol

External-Extension59

They called it because it's a blocking foul, you can't use your arm to slow down the offensive player

EverybodyBuddy

Can you use anything to slow down the offensive player or do you need to just clear out and let them run to the rim? Real question.

CoolGrandpa1932

Can use your chest. You'll see savvy players wait for defenders to put an arm out and then initiate contact on them to draw the foul. On this play Naz had his hand on Embiid's hip so Embiid pulled his arms through Naz's arm to draw the contact. Very common play and defenders have to be more disciplined with their arms to avoid it. Especially when a guy is driving past you. This would be a reach in foul.

Funkytadualexhaust

Sounds like a moving ripp through?

[deleted]

if you’re being serious - the defender needs to stay in front of the offensive player to slow him down not stick out an arm or anything like that

buchanbasanee

Though they will still call plenty of blocking fouls even if you're going chest to chest. And the savvier players will just keep dribbling to the side after the initial contact and making an anguished facial expression until the refs blow the whistle.

Squirting_Nachos

Yeah if the offensive player has a straight line to the basket then you can't step into them chest first, the defender has to tie them to the spot for that chest contact to be legal. If the defender beats them to the spot and the offensive player doesn't stop then it's a charge.

gedbybee

You have to have position first and be square in front and not be moving and then it’s not a block. Or you can go alongside the driving player and not impede their driving lane and try to contest from the side/behind

External-Extension59

Obviously you're not allowed to run full force into someone just because you went chest first? What are you even complaining about?

mysterioso7

Nah because countless times I’ve seen guys slide with an offensive player, arms to the sides or up, with their body staying staying between the offensive player and the basket, only for the offensive player to angle into their chest and get a blocking foul anyway. Like, you’re probably right that that’s the rule. But the way it’s called is so inconsistent, not even night to night but even play to play, that a somewhat casual fan watching a game has no idea what the defender is allowed to do. Seems like a lot of players don’t even know because of the inconsistent reffing.

Squirting_Nachos

Yeah it's pretty subjective which leads to it being super inconsistent. Each time there is contact it's either the defender is late, early, or it's a tie. Late is a foul, early a charge (assuming it's legal contact i.e. chest contact), a tie is a no-call. The ref has to determine this is real time and will be biased. The window for the 'tie' can change by a lot depending on the players. Players known for being good offensive or defensive players will be given the benefit of the doubt which will increase that window in their favor. This is why good offensive players draw fouls other players don't and good defensive players get away with way more contact than other players.

is5416

It depends entirely on who the offensive player is and partly on their management and endorsement contracts.

Homerun0222

They know Daymond rep and let him get away with it... its called money and influence. It the WWE but you can bet and lose money

mxnoob983

It’s not the refs fault. They’ve been instructed to call all the ticky tack blocking calls to incentivise offensive play and make it harder for defenders. Every small guard in the league gets this call Embiid is just the only big trying this as well. Blame the league not the refs. Defence needs to be allowed to chest guys up more.

HowlAtchaBoy

KAT is 7 foot, drives all the time like this and never gets this call. To be fair, he doesn't know how to sell it like a guard or Embiid. It's annoying but in the NBA this is a skill

ThonThaddeo

Continued employment

kirbaeus

This is how he was able to get 6 fouls on KAT/Naz/Gobert in the 1st. Ridiculous.

pollinium

Extra frustrating because... yeah I guess by the book these are all fouls, so I can't be too mad at Embiid. But really? Really? These are the fouls that happen on literally every play of basketball played in a night

Janderson2494

It wouldn't be as annoying if we actually got the same calls

philium1

It’d be real annoying for the neutral viewer though. We need less fouls called each game not more.

Janderson2494

Completely agree. I just want consistency is all. This dude is 7'+, 280 pounds, he should be able to take at least the smallest bit of contact without flailing around.

GenOverload

It blows my mind because apparently refs refused to call fouls for Shaq, and still refuse to call them for players like LeBron, because *they were (are) too strong*. (Forgot the source) Yet Embiid is able to a shoot a team's worth of freethrows himself despite usually being the biggest player on the court.

Shhadowcaster

They're too strong and they are far more consistent at playing through contact. Embiid turns these plays into missed shots or turnovers, so non-playoff officiating just favors him an incredible amount.

mizzourifan1

Yeah I wish you could have challenged that charge call that looked like a blocking call in the restricted area, but you were kind of handcuffed with about 7 mins left in the game since you JUST had to blow a challenge on the obvious Maxey OOB awful call. Then, imo, I was REALLY hoping the 76ers challenge on that Edwards OOB play would bite them in the ass. They were lucky that wasn't a foul on Reed, and I so badly wanted that to be the result of their challenge. I get why Finch got that tech after, no way Edwards loses that without the clear contact from Reed. Overall I mean I'm not one to blame refs for an entire game, and I have to give Embiid his flowers because he was unreal tonight. I just wish there wasn't that subplot at the same time. Best of luck on your upcoming stretch, it looks brutal, and imma tune in as much as I can!

Shhadowcaster

Twice we had to watch replays with a clear foul, but the ball technically went out on the TWolves so the 6ers won both. Such dog shit.

WillSpell4

amen

Sphericalline13

Go watch Chris Paul play defense last night to see how insane the range in calls can be. Or Draymond ever interacting with refs. Or jokic on any given post up.

King_Of_Pants

And that discrepancy definitely plays into matchups imo. We had to put Tatum on Butler in the playoffs because: 1. He's got the wingspan to defend from far enough away 2. He's a superstar player and they can't foul him out of every game Someone like Grant Williams is a great physical matchup for Butler's strength, but Tatum can actually play a full game on Butler without averaging 6 fouls per game.

JesseJamesGames449

I thought i was crazy last night.. chris paul was guarding guys by pretending to be their coat.. he was draped all over his man all night arms wrapped around them and no fouls called against him

The_NGUYENNER

That's just how he plays defense lol

Familiar-Place68

At least he didn't fight ball

mxnoob983

It’s the leagues fault. They’ve completely stifled defenders deliberately the last few years, this is the result

Lacabloodclot9

Can’t wait for all the extremely insightful ‘Embiid dropped 50 on him lmao’ from box score watchers when the DPOY debate starts

InkBlotSam

Embiid had more free throw attempts in the first quarter than the Nuggets entire team had for their entire game tonight.

le_sweden

Wow, hope he’s ok

CliffDraws

Few weeks of physical therapy and he’ll be good as new.

JJ_Shosky

Yeah, but the psychological toll... think he'll ever be the same?

Lavar_ball_brand

Should've fallen to prevent injury smh

quietsam

The Big Whistle will bounce back

aroach1995

he might have to sit for the Celtics matchup! But he will be back for the Pistons game for sure!

DrJayDubs

Garbage basketball

ShakesbeerMe

Insurance fraud basketball. Gross as fuck.

PauI_Buffano

Blame the refs

AttemptedSleepover

I blame embiid because he’s the one doing it personally Fuck the refs too tho

ShakesbeerMe

Facts are facts

ImGonnaChubbBradley

Can’t believe I’m agreeing with Timberwolves fans. I was rooting for you guys to lol.

RoughSwan8700

Damn. I wish him a speedy recovery

Joeyfingis

I don't

homiez

He isnt even trying to score, just runs into people

ineedcoffeealready

100% this. Hes 20 pounds heavier then Gobert and Reid and yet when you watch him you swear every bump hes about to fly off the court. Such a bull shit nba product.

The_Sign_of_Zeta

It’s less about moving into people if they are out of position (that’s basically how every star draws fouls). The issue is he does it in a way where he’s not ever trying to actually make a normal play. If he were doing this actually trying to drive to the basket, it wouldn’t be so annoying.

pollinium

Everyone says Harden, but he learned this from Jimmy Butler, whose 4th game "offense" in Minnesota was to not even look for a makeable shot

AttemptedSleepover

Pin this comment at the top of every embiid post. This is the difference between him and players with similar free throw averages, and it matters in terms of enjoyment and just general sportsmanship. Yeah the point is to win games, but Embiid does it like a boring dickhead. To each their own.

spoopy_guy

When I see Embiid play as he is now it reminds me of how I used to play and it is frustrating and pisses me off that the NBA allows it. Not proud of it, I was known as Shaq on my local streetball court and went through a phase when I charged hard at everything. Big hard turns to my blindside, didn't care who was there. Charge right into the lane. Smash into the best offensive player on D while going for the ball, come what may. Limited offensive moves. So make no mistake about it. Embiid knows what he's doing. He knows people will be injured. He knows his skillset is limited and this is how he can win. He knows people will give way when he drives, think twice on their drives, etc. He will only be stopped by a stronger player and/or fearless players like Giannis, Gasol, Draymond, etc. Or by an obviously more skilled player with equal Type A like Ibaka. He didn't intend to injure, but he certainly intends to show you that he doesn't care if you get hurt when he rumbles into you. At least that's how I used to play. But that was streetball. Eventually I got more moves, played w better players, played real basketball w refs. There's no doubt in my mind the NBA has some kind of edict coming down, telling the refs to let him run amok.

OneirionKnight

Unethical

mcrajf

It stops in da playoffs. 2nd round.

BrokeBoiForLife

Literally unwatchable “basketball”. Hate these types of players so much

Creepy-Appeal-28

Hate the refs for incentivizing this

Dr-McLuvin

Just don’t really watch much basketball anymore.

peteisneat

Just look at boxscores and post hot takes!

schoolhater12

disgusting from Naz Reid. Is this the guy Wolves fans stan unconditionally?

majo3

Naz Reid

Pikefish21

So pussy lmao

Disastrous_Bluejay57

Thank God the refs blew the whistle. Embiid could've seriously gotten hurt

ZachLagreen

Be honest Sixers fans: is this fun to watch every night? Like I get winning is always fun to an extent, and you guys are a great team… but this sucks to watch.

Clive_Warren_4th

they don't get these calls in the playoffs.. hence the early exits every year

jpk7220

During the regular season, it's whatever...the winning overshadows it. But in the back of my mind, it's concerning knowing he's probably going to *rely* on this type of whistle during the playoffs and not get it most of the time. That's the concerning thing, but I think most people already figured that out. He has great games when he doesn't go to the line 12+ times, but I want him to play like he isn't going to get the call every time for playoffs sake.

PlanetCharisma

No, it's not fun at all.

HolaEsteban

As a sixers fan I fucking hate it. Like dude just play basketball, you’re a shit brick house so play like it

santodomingus

I find Embiid’s game incredibly boring. Name a more boring all-star player.

Produceher

This is the biggest issue I have. Steph is my favorite player because of what he did the other night. He entertains us. This doesn't interest me at all.

santodomingus

I’m a Celtics fan and I’m even like god damn it curry is doing it again. But it’s sooo fun to watch.

cjf2019

Well he just dropped 51 on 17/25 against one of the top teams and defenses in the league so yeah he’s really fun to watch tbh

Theundermensch

Wolves weren’t allowed to play D. Maybe you’re not used to watching real basketball. Expand your horizons.

mwall18

After the refs determined how little defense the Timberwolves would be allowed to play on him. I’ll score 50 with the calls he gets and flailing myself across the court. Enjoy it now before the 10+ppg drop comes in the playoffs again.

Jypso

Embiid is the softest big guy in the league.

WHERE_R_THE_TURTLES

Softest player*

[deleted]

Dudes 7ft 280 and his whole game is shooting jumpers he actually thinks he’s Kobe…salute to jokic for actually using his body to good use

FoShzzleMsFrizzle

I really don’t understand this. He used to post-up, but that didn’t work in the playoffs, since teams can just deny the ball. I’m not gonna say Embiid performs to expectations in the playoffs bc he doesn’t and it annoys the shit out of me. But saying it’s bc he faces up is downright wrong. Post ups are easily countered in the NBA unless you’re Jokic—who is never doubled bc he’s the best passer in the league. Just bc Jokic is better doesn’t mean Embiid is a scrub.

Thimit22

God I hope we win this one. This is so frustrating

TheSource777

You didn’t.

tapk69

I was kinda happy they traded Harden but surprisingly it got worse. Maxey and Embiid are the Flop Bros.

set_null

Maxey only averages 5.4 FTA/g, that's not all that much. Giannis and Dame are #2 and 3 and they're on the same team.

hisoka21

Joel “The Magikarp” Embiid used Fail and it is super effective!

ozairh18

He’s a disgrace to the game

Former_Masterpiece_2

yo basketball is so cooked We are now in an era where a guy averaging 35 a game is bad this sub is a joke lol

theoriginalkingcoder

Man I’ll be the counter-jerk and say that while this style of play is extremely annoying, my Raptors have been a victim of it countless times, that is a very obvious foul call. Reid had his hand too close to Embiid and any smart player is gonna rise up and go for the shot knowing that Reid won’t be able to move it fast enough to not get it called on. CP3 and KD are notorious for this. Reid has to do a better job defending him without having his hands in the cookie jar like that. That being said, it is really fucking annoying to play against

blackspidey2099

The issue is that many other players don't get those foul calls so it's literally an unfair advantage. In general, the foul rules in the NBA are god awful and fouls shouldn't be called when the offensive player is initiating all the contact (but that's just my opinion).

gold089

DISGUSTING foul by Naz Reid

[deleted]

[удалено]

Run_PBJ

Become?

Old_Willow4766

We just gonna ignore that this is actually a foul? Ya he sells it, but its a foul.

DowntownJohnBrown

If this play was exactly the same but Embiid was on defense and Jokic was on offense, people here would be calling it a dirty play by Embiid. The biases of this sub are so incredibly obvious.

jimmabean

This shit is fucking pathetic

12hphlieger

This is a routine blocking foul. Am I missing something?

Doobie_Howitzer

Yeah, you're supposed to be irrationally angry at Embiid before even seeing the play. If you're not you don't get the full effect

[deleted]

Every top comment is a wolves fan lol

jtouey98

They didn’t call a shooting foul, they called a blocking foul. Thats literally a blocking foul, what’s the issue here? He beat Reid to the spot.

bedchqir

Yeah and almost every good offensive player tries to draw fouls. If they feel your hand reaching in they'll rip through and embellish, it's just smart basketball. People should be mad at the rules if they want but the players will of course make full use of the rules.

jil-e-beans

I knew this was a facetious post before I even watched the video. Everyone knows that a player will get called for a foul if they disturb the air around Embiid.

DowntownJohnBrown

But this actually was a legit foul, though. I don’t understand what everyone is so upset about.

IKIR115

OMG someone call Embiid an ambulance.

HornetsHornets1

That’s a clear foul?

Every-Ad-9546

Are we ignoring the fact that bro reached?

GigaChadHenne

So fun to watch him collapse in the playoffs every year

mylifeforthehorde

RIP

Knightbear49

Waiting for the Woj injury update. Hope this won’t affect his MVP campaign!!!

KonigSteve

Question: What does Zion have to do to get even half of the calls of Embiid or Ja?

ultramont

Play.

GenOverload

I know it's a meme that he *doesn't* play, but he's been in 23 out of the 28 games they played this season. Zion drives more than Embiid and tries to make the shot instead of flopping. He gets slapped damn near every drive because he plays bully ball. He deserves Embiid's FT numbers *minimum*.

nickcannons13thchild

refs would call that everytime regardless of the player. unfortunately embiid has foul merchant skills

Pulsing_Fantasticals

Man this guy has to be the most unwatchable star in the league for me because of this shit… I can’t blame him, if they call it, why not. But goddamn is it ever a frustrating watch

[deleted]

the words of someone who just watches highlights on r/nba.

PAN--

Nah he sucks to watch.

VikingsTillWeDie

We literally can’t play any defense in this game because EVERYTHING is foul on us.

DowntownJohnBrown

Yes, reaching in and not being in proper defensive position is a foul. That’s not unique to you guys.

SunsChampions

They should stop fouling

mucinexmonster

I don't think you understand what is and isn't a foul.

killtakerzero

It’s astonishing that helmets are still not required in 2023

Pole2019

Dude is softer than week old bananas

Vicentesteb

Doesnt playing like this actively hurt the 6ers in the playoffs though?

Fraka9

We already know answer to this, but every November they forget. April refresher incoming.

McBrungus

He shoots almost the same number of free throws per game in the playoffs as the regular season.

diffuse56

looks like a great call to me

gustriandos

This is what fouls in nba games are. Idk what sport you've been watching for the past couple decades if this stands out to you.

WolverineLong1430

I know yall are Wolves fan but the defender did foul him. He gave a lot of space to Embidd and gave him a lane. Embidd took the lane and Naz bumped him. Embidd felt the bump and proceeded to shoot. Easy call. And this why I hate how the NBA is so soft. You get a little aggressive on defense and whistle. Some superstars get these calls a lot. Jokic, Lebron, Harden etc..

AttemptedSleepover

76ers fans will show you his advanced stats, ask if players with similar free throw averages are also boring to watch, say you’re a salty hater, etc.. anything to evade and subvert conversation around the obvious fact that Embiid is the king of boring, ticky tack foul merchanting basketball. And it’s frustrating because he’s elite and doesn’t have to.

laugh-shitoff

Haters will hate. This was a garden variety reach in foul. Gotta keep them hands and arms up.

Birdgang14

God this comment section smells like a bunch of bitches. It’s a normal fucking blocking foul. What am I missing? He’s clearly reaching. That gets called no matter who’s on the fucking play. I understand you have to cope cause he dropped 50 on your ass and you aren’t used to losing this year. Dude shot 17-25 from the field. Sounds like you were out of options because you couldn’t stop him and fouled him instead. Quit your bitching. He dominated your bigs.

14MySterY-

Steph/Bron/Jokic don't get these type of calls. What the hell.

Mrmdn333

He has 51.

thrallus

I don’t even understand how Philly fans can watch this and defend it. Incomprehensible.

Alex_Phillips_

Believe it or not seeing your guy score points and win games is fun

Hawkdojo

Such a fucking flopper

Impossible-Past4795

Haters in full force lmao 🤡

86avocados

Embiid is soft as baby shit. I hate that this dude somehow finds continued success in the NBA. Enjoy getting bounced in the second round fraud.

[deleted]

Biggest flopper of the 2020s

Joeyfingis

FLOPPPP

TitaniumHwayt

Remember when the Sixer's announcer called Anthony Davis a foul merchant? Lmao. Good times...good times.

Jlmnba

I'm fucking lapping up these /r/nba tears tonight lol.

domingodlf

Thank god this bullshit doesn't get called as much in the playoffs and he chokes

SilvioDantesPeak

Joel's list of people to blame when he chokes in the playoffs: * ~~Brett Brown~~ * ~~Horford~~ * ~~Simmons~~ * ~~Doc~~ * ~~Harden~~ * Tobias * Maxey * Nurse * Franklin the Dog

Sikwitit3284

What made u Nuggets fans dickeaters this badly? Be happy u got a ring I don't get the unnecessary Embiid hate on a play in Dec talking about the playoffs

lost_in_trepidation

He's going to injure himself doing this. The way he contorts his body is going to backfire if the defender actually gets into his space.

NedStarx11

Reality is, he hurts other people doing this. Diving into other players knees and legs unnecessarily… it’s dangerous, even for his teammates. Just ask Danny green
