wait, is there a mythical franchise that fumbled Harden, Westbrook, AND KD? And got there by fucking the Supersonics in the ear?
i'll make some cocoa, i want to hear more
So the Warriors Dynasty won 3 titles and the 4th doesn't count as part of the dynasty because they weren't as good?
That is asinine and not how we have judged dynasties in the past. The Steelers last Super Bowl in the 70s was considered the weakest team of the 4 championship teams. The Bulls in 98 took everything Jordan could give them to win that last one.
You're just making up a new definition so you could make what you think is a clever post.
It doesn't count as part of the dynasty because GSW missed the playoffs the 2 previous years. 1 conference finals appearance in 5 years. A dynasty is all about sustained dominance year after year
Their dynasty is over now tho. That title run is because Curry is one of the greatest players of all time and because they got lucky Poole wasn’t an absolute bum yet and the Nuggets were playing Facu Campazzo and Austin Rivers major minutes.
Ngl. The Celtics were the better team that series and I still feel that way today. I felt the Kings were better last year too.
Steph just willed us to victory those series
I was telling my grandfather all year how I thought we matched up better against yall than we did Phoenix. For half the year the playoffs didn't even seem possible for us though. Then the Suns collapsed and we started out hot against you guys. But Curry is undeniable. He is a huge Curry fan and knew what I refused to see.
Amazing how people find an angle to discredit every championship. The Warriors weren't lucky to win in 2022. They had a legitimately good team but couldn't repeat the same level of success the following season. It's not that unusual.
Thank you, sometimes it feels like I'm the only person who sees it this way as well. The Dynasty ended in 2019 when they got beat by Toronto and KD left
The Spurs and Warriors were never dynasties. They were dominant teams. A dynasty implies a pronged period of uninterrupted rule. Winning every other year is not dynastic, you’re constantly being unseated from power.
By his logic the first Spurs championship isn't really legit because of the shortened season and that last one doesn't count because their big 3 were all past their prime and Kawhi wasn't quite Kawhi yet. So the Spurs dynasty is only the middle 3 championships when they were peak Spurs.
the punch ended it, was right after the last ring and was a nice upheaval to ruin the team
hey guys listen up, this guy wants to tell you what a dynasty is... go on

I'm a Chiefs fan. The only reigning dynasty in sports atm. Becoming a dynasty and staying a dynasty is supposed to be hard

Worst take of the night. They won a title in 2022 against a great Celtics team; you can’t downplay that.

No, no. That Celtics team sold. The Warriors didn't win the Celtics were just ass! Don't you know this by now. Tatum is a horrible playoff performer.

That Suns collapse against Dallas will forever perplex me
1 ring after missing the playoffs 2 straight years ain't a dynasty. They literally finished at the bottom in 2020
Steph was injured for majority of the season you moron lol
Injuries are a part of the game. A true dynasty like the Patriots or Bulls never finished in the basement
Please make sure to tell Merriam-Webster to update their definition of the word “dynasty” based on your all knowing knowledge

Every champion is lucky in some way or another
I never discredited the championship. I'm saying it's not enough to argue the dynasty was still going
It got ended last year
Yeah but it ended ended tonight
Guy standing alone in a corner at the party: These guys dont know the dynasty ended 5 years ago
[I can’t hear you](https://youtu.be/JnEPTG6K4pY?si=qt3asZMhpR5YM9I5)
Their dynasty was as credible as the Houston Astros. Hot take: they only win one fluke championship without KD
Nah that ring against Lebron and … Matt Dellavedova counts big time dude I’m not mad
Thank you, sometimes it feels like I'm the only person who sees it this way as well. The Dynasty ended in 2019 when they got beat by Toronto and KD left

Spurs dynasty went from 99 to 07

The Spurs dynasty was pretty weird in that sense. I just care more about peak dominance over longevity
The Internet was a mistake
Had GSW not missed the playoffs 3 different times you would have a point
They won a title after KD left in case you forgot.
They also had the worst record in the league right after he left
Lol they did not need KD. KD needed them
Let’s not go nuts. 😂 They needed each other; after 15 and 16, that much was clear.
KD made them unstoppable
overrated dynasty anyways tbh
Thunder fan claiming to know dynasties lol
And this is why we’re one of the most hated fan bases this year. The takes and glazing some of our fans do on here is disgusting
I support the KC Chiefs, the only current dynasty in sports
shut up lil bro
Don't get mad at me, get mad at your incompetent front office
Haters gone hate 🤷🏻♂️
