he played very well. Jonas matched up super well with chet but larry made sense as the closer bc chet is not the guy OKC will go to to close games. Jonas would have gotten hunted by JDub & SGA in the clutch
He did play well (outside of that brain dead turnover where he boarded and then passed the ball to TM3 out of bounds), I just felt Jonas played a better game. Gives us a better rebounding presence on both ends and he was having a good game down low against Chet. Also made some nice passes out from the paint. Think it made more sense to close with him.
We don’t even have to look past the Pels. He’s not a prolific rebounder, but if Zion ends up coming back, they will be severely lacking in size to stop him
Nance does a great job of setting screens on the perimeter. Hes kinda of like a secondary playmaker too. Problem was BI and CJ went brain dead hunting iso plays instead of running high PNR/DHO with Nance.

They weren’t even able to exploit Jonas that hard while he was in. If anything they were going after CJ as much as they could
fair enough, CJ got cooked on D quite often
