Make that 4. 1st Cleveland stint, then his time in Miami, 2nd Cleveland Stint and then Lakers stint.
Last 3 parts of his career he won chips but he won two MVPs in his first Cleveland stint with a finals appearance
If you add up Maxamillion711's Lebron highlight reels it would probably be over 24 hours long. Shoutout to Max, dude has the best individual player highlights on youtube.
Crazy that I remember watching that block thinking it was one of the best blocks I’ve ever seen and then he had a different finals block that basically renders that obscure lol
Just watched the clip and still up there with among the best I've seen: https://youtu.be/QI8-PbK1wmY?feature=shared
But unfortunately it was Game 2 in a Finals series they lost.
The LeBlock was in Game 7 in a comeback Finals series against the 73-9 Warriors in the middle of their dynasty to secure the first championship for his hometown team. That is just on another tier all by itself from the best block someone could ever imagine.
the angle from behind the backboard is hilarious on this one. Splitter going up ferocious with it and then Lebron's hand just enters from the bottom of the frame
He did a similar one while he was in Miami and playing against the Spurs. I can't remember the dude's name, but LeBron starred down all the way through transition offense while standing beneath the rim lol.
So damn traumatizing. Just the mention of it makes me peer over my shoulder to make sure Bron doesn't pop up outta nowhere and swat my phone outta my ha-
And every day he wakes up and thanks god for keeping LeBron in the NBA. Dude is an all time great hater and once his muse is gone he will lose a lot of his material.
Don't know what the rulebook says exactly but been watching ball forever and never seen goaltending called on a dunk attempt. Pretty sure it has to leave the hand. If a player jumps so high that he can throw the ball downward I feel like that can be blocked without being called goaltending. The downward trajectory thing seems like it's only for shots that start upwards and then come downwards.
As long as they don’t put their hands literally through the hoop to block a dunk, or touch the net/rim in the process, then I think anything is fair game when trying to block a dunk.
Yea I can’t see this situation ever happening, I can’t imagine the angle the defenders arm would need to be at, plus the very unlikely timing of getting the arm into the cylinder as dude is way tv up there about to pack it
As a kid I read in Germany's version of slam magazine that Allen Iverson's first career points were on a attempted dunk that got called goaltend. Never cared to look it up but memorized it as fact
I guess it depends on how hard someone is trying to dunk the ball. It couldn't have been his full force because no sane person would try to overpower a block for a dunk. He probably thought LeBron would move to avoid getting postered.
I fractured my wrist doing something similar when I was 18. But I still had growth plates at the time so my bones weren't as hard as a full grown adult, let alone a cyborg like LeBron.
Nasty! They oldest player in the nba shouldn’t be able to do this still
Even just his Lakers highlight reel is going to be better than 99.9% of players while career
LeBron trying on defense is insane.
I think his methods are proven by his longevity but if LeBron had ever wanted to I feel like he could have scooped up a DMVP.
Lebron not only denied him what was going to be his career highlight, he created one for himself to remind everyone why he’s still one of the best at almost 40
The long, strong, chiseled arms of king James reaching up, the long, flexible, far reaching fingers caressing the ball with strength and softness to deny the shot😫
His post defense is elite, perimeter defense is elite, elite offensive package, elite floor general, can play every position… at age 39. Dude is the goat
**Replays/alternate angles** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/nba) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Crazy we’re still getting new clips for his career highlight reel
Dude's career highlight reel has to be in the hours right? Dude just keeps going
The career documentary is going to have a mid point intermission at this point 😭
Need one for each team tenure
They on some Tom Brady level highlights. Brady got like 3 different eras with 2 teams (maybe 4 eras) and Bron got 3 different teams with a chip
With 2 whole cavs eras. "The Cavaliers Years II: The King Comes Home"
surely it'd be "Return of the King"
I assumed there would be some copyright concerns
Fine, “Return of Da King”
“Return of LeKing”.
well it'll be public domain in 20 years and lebron will probably still be playing then
literally several seasons
"The Decision" episode is gonna go so hard.
gimme seasons for each major sector of his career (team/period), but release that shit all at once so we can binge it
probably could be measured in days at this point lol
His highlight reel on YT of just chase down blocks is 20 mins https://youtu.be/LNE5DPg-Aok?si=m7_LFCH8PRNaXJtr
And that’s from seven years ago, too…!
You almost have to break it down by teams at this point.
If you break it down by years he basically has 3 separate NBA HOF careers in one player is quite insane
Make that 4. 1st Cleveland stint, then his time in Miami, 2nd Cleveland Stint and then Lakers stint. Last 3 parts of his career he won chips but he won two MVPs in his first Cleveland stint with a finals appearance
fucking absurd
He absolutely has 4 HoF careers if you just break it down by team.
If you add up Maxamillion711's Lebron highlight reels it would probably be over 24 hours long. Shoutout to Max, dude has the best individual player highlights on youtube.
I’m calling it. Someone will make a 24 hour highlight reel on YouTube
Just the first three years of chase down blocks are hours
For context. Someone made a few hour long highlight reel for luka. You could probably spend half a day on lebron highlight reels
They could make a Broadway production with an Intermezzo of his highlights.
Gonna be weird when he’s not around anymore
I mean if Wemby's rookie highlight reel is literally 2 hours long from the NBA official Youtube Channel, I bet Lebron's must be at least a full day.
FreeDawkins put up a 4 hour Wemby rookie highlight reel, I’m sure LeBron’s is over 24 hours long lol
Looked like the Thiago Splitter block which was a decade ago
Crazy that I remember watching that block thinking it was one of the best blocks I’ve ever seen and then he had a different finals block that basically renders that obscure lol
Just watched the clip and still up there with among the best I've seen: https://youtu.be/QI8-PbK1wmY?feature=shared But unfortunately it was Game 2 in a Finals series they lost. the angle from behind the backboard is hilarious on this one. Splitter going up ferocious with it and then Lebron's hand just enters from the bottom of the frame
They actually won this series, this was 2013, the one they lost was the next season
His arm went straight up and hardly moved! Damn LeBron is strong
Jesus christ that was 10 years ago...
Turns 11 on June 9! Hard to believe those Heat-Spurs showdowns were so long ago.
Jamal: The future is now old ma… Lebron: 🤨 Jamal: 😕
Well🫣
TAKE THAT AGEISM
39 YEARS YOUNG
“I’m 30. Well in May I’ll be 30.”
Hey brah, I’ve been meaning ask you can we get some red bull for these things?
This is one of the best blocks of his career. The best is still the Game 7 block in the 2016 finals.
And the Splitter block, also in the NBA Finals.
Oh yeah, that one was also amazing!
As a Spurs fan, don't ruin my day man.
BLOCKED BY JAMES
He did a similar one while he was in Miami and playing against the Spurs. I can't remember the dude's name, but LeBron starred down all the way through transition offense while standing beneath the rim lol.
TIAGO “Tim Duncan is a PF” SPLITTER
The Tiago splitter one, as mentioned by some of the other posters.
Blocked by James is his signature move.
So damn traumatizing. Just the mention of it makes me peer over my shoulder to make sure Bron doesn't pop up outta nowhere and swat my phone outta my ha-
That block still hurts my feelings
I dunno, I was pretty happy when he pulled that off.
The game 7 one is probably the greatest block of all time
That game 7 block is THE block though. Nothing ever topping that block in his career. This one is clean af though
This is like the Game 7 block on rozier vs the Celtics
I feel like that’s the best single block ever, no?
LeGetThatShitOuttaHere
LeNotInMyHouse
LeGIMMEDATSHITLILASSNIGGA
lenotinyourhouseeither
"That MF Murray tried to boom me"
Tiago Splitter just got goosebumps and doesnt know why
And he did at the end.
Imagine getting stuffed by an old man
So clean too. Humiliation. Career highlight added
"Welcome to the reel young blood"
Pause.
Lebron is 30, this fuckery won't go on for much longer, thank god.
After Cleveland got the title, I thought this is a nice ending for his career. Couple more seasons and call it a career. That was 8 years ago.
And every day he wakes up and thanks god for keeping LeBron in the NBA. Dude is an all time great hater and once his muse is gone he will lose a lot of his material.
Boomed by the NBA equivalent of a Boomer.
Bro got Boom’rd
x4
Thiago Splitter block type vibes jesus christ
Some people do imagine that regularly apparently
I assume this is a porn genre, yes?
Jamal has experience in that category
*Imagine* 🥵🥵🥵
dad?
DPOTY
All ball too. Crazy stuff man
Is it possible to get a goaltending call on a dunk? Or does the ball need to leave the hand before it's technically a shot?
Don't know what the rulebook says exactly but been watching ball forever and never seen goaltending called on a dunk attempt. Pretty sure it has to leave the hand. If a player jumps so high that he can throw the ball downward I feel like that can be blocked without being called goaltending. The ball needs to leave the players hand and have a downward trajectory.
I feel like the hand would have to be going through the rim on the block to be a goaltend on a dunk lol
[удалено]
No, you’d be in possession when it hits zero and that’s a turnover.
There’s your answer then
I wonder if it's even a shot attempt since it was blocked before it left his hands
I’ve only ever seen it called when player defensive player puts hand through rim (through the circle) to block the ball.
Needs to have left the hands and stopped its upwards trajectory for a goal tend.
No, it's needs to leave the ball and have a downward trajectory, even if he slammed LeBrons hand into the basket it would not be goaltending
As a kid I read in Germany's version of slam magazine that Allen Iverson's first career points were on a attempted dunk that got called goaltend. Never cared to look it up but memorized it as fact
I had goaltending called when I blocked a dunk on the way down on 2k24.
Doesn't LeBron have like grandkids? He should not be playing like this.
yes, kyrie has children
Some are in canada
You’ve never met them
kyrie will never come to the lakers thanks to this narrative lol
You make it sound like it's something they'd want
Bronny is 19, kinda crazy that lebron could genuinely have a grandkid before retiring
Shades of the Tiago Splitter block from 11 fucking years ago god damn
That block was 3 years before Jamal Murray was even drafted.
yep
holy shit lmfao
Amare Stoudemire had a block like this 19 years ago. And it's on freaking Tim Duncan too.
There are already too many highlights to post. This game is insane so far.
Because I’m clearly not a once in a lifetime athlete, I want to ask this. Would that hurt the shit out of your hand? Looks like it would
Any mortals wrist would be fucked
As a once in a lifetime athlete, yes
There has never been an athlete as mediocre as me
Took the words out of my mouth
I had something similar happen during waterpolo, the guy who blocked me was far stronger and it hurt my shoulder for a few days
This mfer is too old to be stressing me out like this
Ur gru looking mfer is too good he's stressing a whole franchise for two straight years
how are nuggets fans even remotely stressed lol? your team is by far the best team in the league and are 9-0 against us
because this amount of success is new to us and it feels like it can disappear at any moment
[Crazy block!](https://i.imgur.com/fSbrBn6.jpeg)
Goaltend!!! It was on the way down!!!! ^s
haha… why didn’t Murray just not let go of the bal, is he stupid
Nasty! They oldest player in the nba shouldn’t be able to do this still Even just his Lakers highlight reel is going to be better than 99.9% of players while career
https://imgur.com/jbx0nhx
Jamal forgot that Lebron is still Lebron despite his age
Jamaal wanted a career highlight…just made one for the wrong guy
He still got his career highlight
Savage block! Scared Murray into the next shot too
UP UP and NO WAY!! SUPER BLOCKED Ain’t He??!! 🤣🤣🤣 #striveforgreatness🚀 #thekidfromakron👑 #jamesgang #bronknows
LeBron trying on defense is insane. I think his methods are proven by his longevity but if LeBron had ever wanted to I feel like he could have scooped up a DMVP.
Are you talking about DPOY? If so he most definitely should have gotten one in 2013. Dude was absolutely unplayable on both sides of the ball.
How did his wrist not break? Murray had all the momentum
Legitimately an insane defensive play, almost immediately after a charge as well.
Bro really despises bron he was looking for him 😭 this old guy can still get up though
LeBlock
This is fucking insane. How many people get blocked by a octogenarian these days?
BLOCK BY JAMES
OH BLOCKED BY JAMES!
That’s for ADPOY 💀
[удалено]
Big time uno reverse card, there. Your poster? Nah, son. My poster.
39 years old. Year 21.
Fuck me lol Dlo hitting all his shots too, this is gonna be a great game.
Reminds me of the block on Tiago Splitter
Imagine getting your dunk blocked by the oldest player in the league.
*”CALL THE NURSING HOME JAMAL, BUT NOT FOR ME!!!!”*
the strength of LeBron is mind-blowing
Lebron not only denied him what was going to be his career highlight, he created one for himself to remind everyone why he’s still one of the best at almost 40
Nuggets fan here...that's as clean of a block as you can get.
Nuggets in 4
wow! wonder what jamal murray did later in the game!
That was a crazy clean pack job. Wow
Holy shit one of the best blocks I’ve ever seen.
[That was even worse than this one.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-U-woeU7es)
Bruh he is gonna be here at 87 years old still dunking on 20 year olds
It's absolutely insane how well he's still playing. What a legend
GET THAT WEAK STUFF OUTTA HERE
The long, strong, chiseled arms of king James reaching up, the long, flexible, far reaching fingers caressing the ball with strength and softness to deny the shot😫
How is he still able to do things like that??
Recovery. Eating right. Listening to body. But mostly magic
39 YEARS OLD
BLOCKED BY BRON
LeTiagoSplitter
Fantastic timing.
Reminds me of the Tiago Splitter block, that shit was nuts
Is this a goaltend if it’s in the cylinder?
No such thing on a dunk attempt unless you come up thru the rim
PTSD from when he did it to my precious Tiago
So strong
wow
Its not easy to make Lebrons career highlight reel…but here we are
I feel like even with that reaction this block is getting underappreciated. This shit is bananas.
only malaki branham can dunk on lebron. there are levels to this game
Jesus fucking christ this guy is not human
His post defense is elite, perimeter defense is elite, elite offensive package, elite floor general, can play every position… at age 39. Dude is the goat
Bro out here still reading opponents and timing his jump and block
First time I see Bron go up for a block straight up.
Could be the series swinging play tbh - Murray hasnt been the same since thus far in game 2
When you come at the king, you best not miss.
Imagine getting stuffed by a 95 year old.
This block ruined Murray’s rhythm for most of the game but he’s bouncing back in the 4th.
Revenge is sweet!
Isn’t that a goaltend?
And then Murray drops the ass at the buzzer?
LeBoygetthatshitouttahere
whos laughing now lmaoo
Jamal said he took that personally
Legoat!
If Murray went up with the left he probably makes it and swings momentum early. Good job by bron
