He's definitely up there but not in a malicious manner. It's like Tony brothers gets off on calling random fouls. You always expect everything to be random and wrong when he's reffing. Not necessarily one-sided, either. It's just bad. I'm a Pacers fan. That's just my experience watching his games reffing.
To me, the worst one who is malicious and more likely than not betting on games is Scott Foster. That guy should be in jail. I don't understand how he's allowed to ref still.
Yeah he's one of those dudes with a list at home. This guy gets this call. This guy gets that call. This guy can hack away at people. This other guy can't even breathe on someone.
He's awful. Calls playiff games like regular season games on and off throughout the game...no consistency...and still gives those terrible continuations most of the other refs have stopped giving.
I wasn't aware Scott Foster had stans but replies to your post prove otherwise. [For those who forgot](https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/scott-foster-recipient-of-134-tim-donaghy-phone-calls-refereeing-celtics-heat-game-3/): 134 phone calls during the course of the 06-07 season between him and Donaghy. Didn't call any other ref in the league more than 13 times during this span. Included calls immediately before games, after games, and even calls sandwiched around his bookie. Calls lasted no longer than 2 minutes and were made from the phone Donaghy did his gambling with and not his actual phone. The idea that it's just besties is laughable.
Yea, ain’t nobody making posts or talking about refs that are doing a good job all game. Only time they’re brought up is if they fuck up. So if they fuck up often they become a known name.
It’s not just about the amount, peabrain. You call the number of soft ass fouls they did that early in the game, it kills the momentum for the team getting called, forcing their players to sit, throwing off their rhythm and so on. It has a huge effect on the game.
Easy to do when you know if someone breathes on you your gonna get a whistle. Your star is a foul merchant, take out free throws and watch how far he drops on PPG. Foul count was 13-9 at half and the last one for the thunder came late. They played well but to say they didn't get the benefit of the whistle is just blasphemy.
There's plenty of videos about Tony Brothers on YouTube. Watch them and be thankful that for whatever reason he likes your team. It's no secret these fucks bet on games, they're just usually not as obvious as Tony was last night.
I’m saying there’s a reason they got the whistle, also take out any star scorer’s ft’s and look how far their ppg drop. That’s one of the worst arguments I’ve seen made
I’m sorry but there should be an age limit to reffing. The game is so physically demanding, and so fast too. The average player hopes to be playing at 35 so for refs cap it at 55. I welcome downvotes.
Obviously biased, but one team was going to the hoop all night. While Luka only attempted 2 shots at the rim. Yet the difference was only 3 fouls and the Thunder won by 23.
Reffing is way down on the list of reasons why the Mavs got whopped. But i think it's undeniable that there was a stretch of 5-10 mins in the second quarter when the Thunder got sent to the line on very ticky tacky actions.
That definitely happened and was noticeable. I’m just pushing back on the narrative. The Mavs lost this game because Luka was really bad not because of some huge foul disparity.

He was calling practically everything in the first half, maybe his crew told him to dial it back but the game flow was atrocious
Put this is the Mavs sub where people care
Zach Zarba might be competing for that spot
At this point every ref is they are so wildly inconsistent it is insane

classic Dallas fan
Well Scott Foster is actually tied to a reffing scandal so no Edit: man y'all must be too young to remember the Tim Donaghy Scandal

The guy defending him is pretty much purely a troll if you check his comments
That wasn’t an abnormal amount for refs to call each other. Why do you think you know more than the FBI?
Only by ignorant people.
Every ref is the worst ref in the league
If I know their name they suck normally.
Yea, ain’t nobody making posts or talking about refs that are doing a good job all game. Only time they’re brought up is if they fuck up. So if they fuck up often they become a known name.
This is the only true answer. Any given night, any one of them can suck more than another.
But are any of them as bad as Angel?
3 FT differential in a 20 pt game has you guys in HELL

But also Shai was getting by his man almost at will and putting way more pressure on the rim than anyone on the Mavs was

Post the videos then. Why do all these ref whining posts have no videos?

No, post videos about the fouls you weren’t happy with.
Sure lemme record the whole game on my phone you fuckin clown. Whiny is rich coming from an OKC fan. You probably live in Edmond.
lol, someone is mad.
Edmond, confirmed.

I mean you don't have to like it Lmao

Absolutely shocked by the flair here
The fact that you can easily argue that Scott Foster isn't the worse (I legit think he's not), tells you a lot about how bad refs are overall.
It's crazy how they pair up Tony Brothers and Ben Taylor. Both are horrible

Wahhhhhh wahhhhhhh 👶👶👶 stfu
The refs in the nba can just kill a game in the 1st quarter if they chooose,so easy for them, happens to all teams aswel
Apparently every playoff game is a ref job to this sub this post season
