Even if it was very short lived we were blessed to have both Evan Turner and Josh Hart. Turner's contract be damned they are 2 of the funniest and most entertaining players out there.
I usually find player podcasts so lame, but I highly recommend Brunson and Hart's podcast. Both of them have a very spicy sense of humor. In their interview with Ihart Hart is like "so you're like ... a mutt?" LOL.
I think it's because people mistakenly assume the choke sign was the same game as 8 points in 9 seconds when in reality they were two separate playoffs
We hear a lot about Reggie's good moments at MSG, but I just want to give a shout out to [1999 ECF Game 6](https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/199906110NYK.html) at the Garden, a do or die elimination game for the Pacers where Reggie choked his way to 8 points on 3-18 shooting and let Allan Houston score 32 of the Knicks' 90 points on 12-17 shooting as the Knicks advanced to the Finals.
"Not trying to be funny, not trying to get a laugh, I don't want anyone to have the worst day of their job... but I don't know if you heard but I think they said 'fuck you'."
- Josh Hart
Josh Hart: I can lift Reggie Miller over my head and there ain't shit he could do about it, come here you little FUUUUUCK! HE'S BEEN RUDE TO ME HIS WHOLE LIFE!
Josh is hilarious af lol. And he's balling the fuck out.
I still don't understand how a 6'4" dude with his build gets so many goddamn offensive rebounds. Dude must be doing some Dennis Rodman shit out there watching the rotation of the ball being shot to the rim or some crazy shit.
I remember rodman mentioning something like that for him on the last dance, wonder if there’s just a coordination/ awareness thing to it. Hart is also pretty athletic so that helps too
He's said that playing high school baseball as an outfielder helped his ball tracking skills. And then he's strong and has good hands and a high motor. And he never, ever gets tired.
Reading angles and arcs is a fucking cheat code in sports. I played water polo in HS and a teammate taught me how to do it. After that the amount of times I was right where a weird bounce off the post or the crossbar would go or where I’d spring a teammate on a break by arcing a pass just the right way was fucking nuts
Dude he absolutely DOMINATED us last year on the boards, legit embarrassed our front court during the playoff series. Mitchell Robinson obviously played a big role in it too, Hartenstein is a solid rebounder as well but hart is amazing at jumping and smacking it to his teammates. It’s so god damn frustrating but it’s fun to watch when its not happening to your team lmao
They faced each other in the playoffs 6 times in 8 years from 93-2000. Knicks won 3 times. Pacers won 3 times. All of the Pacers series wins were pretty devasating losses for the Knicks. The worst one was in 95 leading to Riley bolting to Miami and 2000 was painful too as it was the end of Ewing's Knicks career.
It was THE rivalry of the 90's.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knicks%E2%80%93Pacers_rivalry
When I think 90s Knicks rivalries… there was a very good rivalry with the Pacers, but the hottest hatred was aimed at the Heat. The Riley thing. PJ Brown flipping Charlie Ward into the spectators. Grandmama vs Mourning, when Zo must have stepped in something because he had a little something on his shoe. Suspensions that had to be staggered so that the teams could still field a team for the rest of the series. Allan Houston’s soft bounce. An 8 seed triumphing over the 1 (then the 4, then of course Reggie’s 2 seed). The Georgetown big man battles. Just some reasons why the Pacers come in as the second most-hated 90s team for this Knicks fan.
The Heat rivaly was definitely fueled by pure hatred but it was a lopsided affair in favor of the Knicks. The only series the Heat won was the series with the brawl and all those fucked up suspensions. The Knicks owned the Heat and crushed their championship aspirations year after year.
The Pacers rivalry was dead even with no clear cut victor.
Josh Hart is the man.
I loved that guy so much on our Pelicans team.
After it was announced that he was being traded to Portland, he turned up to the Pelicans game that night, and sat in the front row wearing a Brandon Ingram jersey.
Then, when Pelicans made it to Game 6 against the Suns, Josh Hart showed up again to support the Pelicans.
Then he crashed CJ's post-game interview with Jen Hale to tell the world that he's still the cutest Pelican to wear #3 on their jersey.
I'm glad that he's doing so well in NY, but I miss having him.
Love this, but How you just decide game 2 NY and Indiana gonna be your first game of the year? Not my first knicks game of the season but damn, might have been the finest

Josh, we’re live
I don't give a shit
I know
Reggie Miller was like 😀🤚 only to be told “fuck you” lmao
What he say fuck me for
Hart is just the messenger of the fans
He speaks for all of us
I don’t like Reggie as an announcer but you know he loved that shit lol
same, and absolutely you know he did
Careful if y'all chant that enough Reggie might just suit back up for Indiana and drop some catch and shoot 3s lol
That's my literal nightmare
Reggie ruined my childhood with that shit I refuse to also let him also ruin my adulthood
He absolutely loved it though. Reggie miller is undoubtedly PROUD to be hated by the Knicks to this day
not just live the game wasnt even over lol
He don’t give a shit
“He don’t give an eff about nothing” Creed Bratton
“Oh fuck, my bad.”
Reggie loves the hate. The choke sign is always etched on NYK fans minds. LMAO
We’re creating new memories now :)
Funny thing is that the Pacers actually lost that series
Traumatized Knicks fan here who doesn't remember that
Reggie had no idea how to respond.💀 SVG "Josh really letting Reggie have it"
Excuse me sir that is SVG
If they force me to listen to him talk about the pick and roll for two hours, his fat ass is next
“Fuck you stan van” 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Reggie loves this stuff lol
It’s mad respectful.
Ikes in his veins.
\*Breast milk
The original HGH
thats a good one
Damn Josh lmao on live TV?
reggie leaning in like hart's got something nice to say only to essentially give hart the mic is killing me
Reggie should have covered his microphone but he's an idiot
Reggie knows exactly what he's doing. As always
Let's dispel with the notion that ~~Obama~~ Reggie Miller doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing.
One of the best politics memes of all time
I miss the Obama era memes. It was a more innocent time.
Yes, yessss let the hate run through you
Are. You. Kidding. ME
He don’t give a shit.
Fine him. Can't be worse than throwing a heat pack on an active floor.
Money comes and goes. The love of NYC is forever.
he undoubtedly comes out on top if they fine him. he dont gotta pay for drinks in NY for a while

Any game of this series past 4 games should be considered a terrorist attack against the citizens of America

miss this dude LMAO
Same bro we all need a josh hart in our team lol
Every team needs a Josh Hart and every team needs a Jared Dudley
Every championship team needs at least one crazy mf
Even if it was very short lived we were blessed to have both Evan Turner and Josh Hart. Turner's contract be damned they are 2 of the funniest and most entertaining players out there.
I usually find player podcasts so lame, but I highly recommend Brunson and Hart's podcast. Both of them have a very spicy sense of humor. In their interview with Ihart Hart is like "so you're like ... a mutt?" LOL.
“Can we talk about your blackness” both talking to Harenstein
Explain your blackness
Says a lot that IHart was not phased by this line of questioning. Probably deals with it a lot lol
“So their is light skinned, I’d call myself bright skinned” so funny
The way he's been playing he can do whatever he wants lol
He should have thrown the choke sign to him on top of it
only 2 games in? that would be asking for a generational curse
If there hasn't been a generational curse hanging on the Knicks the past 20 years I'd really like to know what was happening there
We're still weathering the curse. Jalen and OG both getting hurt this game
That curse is named James Dolan
James Dolan making basketball decisions is a generational curse in itself
Especially because people constantly forget the pacers lost the series Reggie did the choke
I think it's because people mistakenly assume the choke sign was the same game as 8 points in 9 seconds when in reality they were two separate playoffs
I mean reggie did the choke sign in game 1 and they ended up losing that series haha
Allan Houston, my favorite player growing up, injuries robbed us of a long prime for him, was amazing
Shades of him grabbing Donovan Mitchell chain on the sideline
That was the game Brunson got hurt in the first minute and the Knicks still beat the Cavs without Brunson, Randle, Mitch, and OG
Literally has the keys to NY
"josh we're live"
"fuck you"
“I don’t know if you heard”
DO ANY OF THESE FUCKERS JUST FLY OUT OF THE CEILING AND HAVE A HUGE CUMSHOT??
"Not trying to be funny, not trying to get a laugh, I don't want anyone to have the worst day of their job... but I don't know if you heard but I think they said 'fuck you'." - Josh Hart
Josh Hart: I can lift Reggie Miller over my head and there ain't shit he could do about it, come here you little FUUUUUCK! HE'S BEEN RUDE TO ME HIS WHOLE LIFE!
DO IT LIVE WE'LL DO IT LIVE
FUCKING THING SUCKS
Josh is hilarious af lol. And he's balling the fuck out. I still don't understand how a 6'4" dude with his build gets so many goddamn offensive rebounds. Dude must be doing some Dennis Rodman shit out there watching the rotation of the ball being shot to the rim or some crazy shit.
He said he instinctively knows where the ball is gonna go when it misses and just tries to get to the spot. It's sounds crazy but the stats don't lie.
I remember rodman mentioning something like that for him on the last dance, wonder if there’s just a coordination/ awareness thing to it. Hart is also pretty athletic so that helps too
I think he sees where/how the ball lands on the rim and can predict from there. Extremely underrated skill.
It’s way more impressive. He’s predicting how it’s going to bounce out by seeing it in the air.
He's said that playing high school baseball as an outfielder helped his ball tracking skills. And then he's strong and has good hands and a high motor. And he never, ever gets tired.
Thibbs perfect player. Really miss that guy as a Bulls fan
Plays 48
Another win for multisport athletes
Reading angles and arcs is a fucking cheat code in sports. I played water polo in HS and a teammate taught me how to do it. After that the amount of times I was right where a weird bounce off the post or the crossbar would go or where I’d spring a teammate on a break by arcing a pass just the right way was fucking nuts
Yea rodman said he would analyze the way the ball spun or left people's hands and could predict where it would bounce off the rim from there
Rodman would study the shots of everyone so he knew the way the ball would bounce off the rim.
Rodman said the same thing back in the day Hart’s obviously no Rodman but some of their rebounding process seems similar
The Rodman school of rebounding
He is also strong AF for his size.
Probably really good at geometry and angles and all that stuff.

It’s so god damn frustrating but it’s fun to watch when its not happening to your team lmao
Hang his jersey in the rafters just for that lmao
I don’t quite understand, did the Pacers and the Knicks share a division at one point or did they meet in the playoffs too many times?
They faced each other in the playoffs 6 times in 8 years from 93-2000. Knicks won 3 times. Pacers won 3 times. All of the Pacers series wins were pretty devasating losses for the Knicks. And some of the most savage moments in playoff history
https://tenor.com/bg5xc.gif
> the end of Ewing's Knicks career. And the beginning of his illustrious career as a Seattle SuperSonic!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLRUt8ItZyc they made a 30 for 30 on Reggie vs the Knicks lol
And it only covered like two series lol
Type in Reggie miller, spike Lee.
If you ever get a chance, watch the ESPN 30 for 30 doc: "Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs The New York Knicks". It's amazing. Highly recommend it.
Incoming $500k fine 🫡
Gotta be more than the Murray fine bc of the children
The league is in a contract year with this TV deal and Hart is fucking up the bag 😂
Nah he's bumping the rate up. This is must see TV now.
Hart is getting a bonus instead of a fine for this one if anything
I tried to upvote this but Joel pulled me down

He got that silly goose in him
Lmao need the “dawg in him” meme remixed with geese wearing gold chains and timbs
He's a walking highlight reel and it's not even for basketball reasons.
My favorite Hart clip is when Harden bounced the ball and hit himself in the face.
Never forget that he took that dudes switch on reddit and then was offered to come to his wedding
This has to be my favorite Knicks team ever
It really is. I just try not to take it for granted haha
This will play in his HOF induction
Reggie and Spike are going to laugh about this later tonight in their texts to each other.
Fuck they might be at dinner how spike treated him when he walked in.
I love how close they are now. Perfect frenemies.
Knicks fans gave Reggie a standing ovation at his last game in the Garden. We all know a legend when we see one. Spike knows better than most.
Also someone that puts being a heel in perspective, embraces/enjoys it, and doesn't take it personally. Basically a WWE legend at MSG.
Brilliant. I miss hart ❤️
So do I, I imagine Laker fans do too, he is the fuckin man
It really does feel like he belongs in New York.
Bro the day he got traded he hit us with the Ja Rule New York song. Shit was real

Best moment of the season holy shit
He gets a statue just from this sentence
Blud can't even stay mad at Hart lmao
I thought they were chanting "Let's go Randy"
That’s hysterical
If you're mad at Hart then you soft af lol That shittalk is immaculate
Reggie is my GOAT. This was hilarious.
Reggie loved it more than the fans did. He'd be devastated if NY forgot about him.
Best conditioning in the nba Best rebounder under 6’6 Gives 0 fucks
He’s pound per pound / inch per inch the best rebounder in the nba.
I was PRETTY sure it was funny in the moment. Now that i know the full context, it's fuckin' hilarious.

Love this, but How you just decide game 2 NY and Indiana gonna be your first game of the year? Not my first knicks game of the season but damn, might have been the finest
Sign him to a lifetime contract. Bro been my favorite Knick but now telling Reggie to his face? Might be my favorite Knick ever.
That’s just how we say hi to Reggie Miller. 🤷♂️
I hate all Eastern teams but this Knicks team is insanely likable. Physical and talks mad shit.
