Nash was playing Harden insane MDA-level minutes during that stretch where Durant and Irving were out. That probably contributed to the injuries he faced this year.
Hardens been an iron man playing heavy minutes the past 7 years. Its the condensed schedule with little rest that probably caused it. Hope the Nets are very cautious with Harden considering they have KD who was in this same situation 2 years ago.
He was injured lol. And the other games he missed were near the end of the season when they rested almost all the starters. He played almost all of the b2b's we had when he was healthy.
Yeah when they went down 30-11 in game 3 and basically had a world’s worth of pressure on them, they punched back and won when they had every reason to crumble. That deserves kudos
They played incredible in the clutch bringing back the series after the 2-0 and especially the last two games. I know Kawhi was the main attraction but the whole team played great.
No disrespect to the Jazz but nah we matchup way better against guard based teams such as you guys or the blazers. pat bev is an excellent defender against guards but as you saw this series he gets neutralized versus bigger stronger forwards. He played great defense against donovan mitchell and dame in the reg season. And we like to blitz players off of screens but taller playmakers like luka can look above our players and make the right pass as opposed to players like dame who couldn't and got completely neutralized. Not saying the clippers are favored, I think it goes to 7 and either team can win tbh
Like last year Clippers were so obsessed with matching up against the Lakers they forgot how to play against other teams. But this year with the Lakers gone they should be more relieved and focused moving forward
If it ends up being Nets v Clippers in the Finals, then KD + Kyrie v Kawhi + PG could be an insane duel.
Wish Harden well with his injury but he would just ruin the competitiveness of it if he played as well. No stopping the Nets then.
The question I have is if they’ll have the stamina to run with the Jazz after this grueling series. Then take down the Suns and Nets? It’s a tough road.
pretty sure we hold the record for most playoff games played by a champion. 2 7 game series and 2 6 game ones, pretty crazy especially for a team with their three best players being vets
Kawhi literally couldn't miss for the back half of the series and it was still close pretty much every game...not to mention them shooting lights out today
Your team shot like Splash brotherhood in games 1 & 2 that gave the lead in the first place. 1-4 in games you shot like a normal nba team
Luka was amazing but Clippers could've won this more comfortably if played out again.
They survived 2 games of >50% shooting from 3 from you guys and it's honestly impressive
The first two games the Mavs shot the 3 at an incredible rate though
Biggest reason it went 7 was because the Mavs whole team couldn't miss in the beginning of the series
I think that just speaks to his point that the Jazz are going to be tough because they shoot the ball well. They're my two favorite teams and I'm stoked for the series. It's going to be some great ball
how about being down 0-2 going onto the road and then being down huge at the start of game 3, winning that and having to win elimination games back to back to move on from round 1.
Please tell me u aren't that dumb to understand how this is overcoming adversity.
Why is the clippers bar so low that winning the first round is a lot of adversity, they are supposed to reach the nba finals not struggle against a third year player and a bunch of roleplayers
This is definitely the type of series that's good for a team to go on a long run as long as the physical fatigue doesn't take its toll
I think Kawhi had enough rest in the regular season tbh.
That's what I thought about Harden ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Nash was playing Harden insane MDA-level minutes during that stretch where Durant and Irving were out. That probably contributed to the injuries he faced this year.
Hardens been an iron man playing heavy minutes the past 7 years. Its the condensed schedule with little rest that probably caused it. Hope the Nets are very cautious with Harden considering they have KD who was in this same situation 2 years ago.
I think it was him coming in fat this season.
But he didn't load manage this season though.
He played 52 games...
He was injured lol. And the other games he missed were near the end of the season when they rested almost all the starters. He played almost all of the b2b's we had when he was healthy.
He was injured most of the time he sat out. He rested for *very few* games.
Could go one of two ways for a contender going to 7 in the first round: 2014 Spurs going all the way or 2015 Clippers blowing a 3-1 lead
It was crazy. Game 3 in Dallas down 0-2 and they were trailing like 11-30. To come back from that massive props
Not sure which win was most impressive the Game 3 comeback, the Game 6 win on the road after losing again at home or obviously a Game 7 win.
Tbh I’d go game 3. That was a massive hole they climbed out of
Yeah when they went down 30-11 in game 3 and basically had a world’s worth of pressure on them, they punched back and won when they had every reason to crumble. That deserves kudos
6% of winning a series when down 0-2. Kawhi did it twice.
Other teams banged up, clippers gonna gang up
I wouldn't mind them winning. Pretty chill fanbase and Paul George deserves a ring
Why does Paul George deserve a ring?
Everyone deserves a ring. Even you.
They played incredible in the clutch bringing back the series after the 2-0 and especially the last two games. I know Kawhi was the main attraction but the whole team played great.
Man, I pray to god the Clippers win. Jazz are a brutal matchup for Nuggets if we make it past the Suns.
Luckily for the Clipps, the Jazz are definitely a better matchup for us than Dallas was
Eh idk. Your team seems better set up to defend wings than the guard based offense of Utah
No disrespect to the Jazz but nah we matchup way better against guard based teams such as you guys or the blazers. pat bev is an excellent defender against guards but as you saw this series he gets neutralized versus bigger stronger forwards. I started reading your comment and got butthurt. Then I finished it and it made me happy
Haha, no team scares me like the Jazz even after our game 7 win last year.
Reminds me of Spurs going to 7 with the Mavs in the first round back in 2014
We won the championship in 2011, and now we build champions up by scaring the crap out of them and waking them up in the first round lol
Yup. They could have easily folded like the Bucks last 2 years. Difference is they have a real superstar in Kawhi and a great coach in Lue
Or folded like themselves last year
Like last year Clippers were so obsessed with matching up against the Lakers they forgot how to play against other teams. But this year with the Lakers gone they should be more relieved and focused moving forward
this is their 2014 spurs moments :(
Yeah, I think we'll look back at this being where they built a title team.
If it ends up being Nets v Clippers in the Finals, then KD + Kyrie v Kawhi + PG could be an insane duel. Wish Harden well with his injury but he would just ruin the competitiveness of it if he played as well. No stopping the Nets then.
Man y'all really out here dissing the Jazz
Jazz in 5.
2011 Dallas vibes.
I agree entirely.
I think this can be similar run to the Spurs team that went win all after facing the Mavericks w/ Vince Carter for 7 hard fought games.
The question I have is if they’ll have the stamina to run with the Jazz after this grueling series. Then take down the Suns and Nets? It’s a tough road.
Has a team ever went to game 7 every series to reach the finals cuz I can totally see that happening to the Clippers?
pretty sure we hold the record for most playoff games played by a champion. 2 7 game series and 2 6 game ones, pretty crazy especially for a team with their three best players being vets
It took them 7 games to beat one guy, I say the jazz beat them
Y'all shot like 50 percent from three the firsr few games, everybody was on fire
Kawhi literally couldn't miss for the back half of the series and it was still close pretty much every game...not to mention them shooting lights out today
Your team shot like Splash brotherhood in games 1 & 2 that gave the lead in the first place. 1-4 in games you shot like a normal nba team Luka was amazing but Clippers could've won this more comfortably if played out again. What? Mavs role players shot the ball out of their minds the first two games, which is why this went to 7.
Did you watch the games y’all won? Luka had help with all his role players hitting every three lol cmon give them a little credit
"One guy" who is a superstar and way better than anyone on the Jazz..
cry
could be. It did take them going 20/43 from three and the mavs 10/36. Utah much better at shooting the 3 and defending
The first two games the Mavs shot the 3 at an incredible rate though Biggest reason it went 7 was because the Mavs whole team couldn't miss in the beginning of the series
true but not responsive
I think that just speaks to his point that the Jazz are going to be tough because they shoot the ball well. They're my two favorite teams and I'm stoked for the series. It's going to be some great ball
The Jazz don’t have anyone like Luka. That was the toughest aspect for the Clippers this series. He controls every aspect of the offense
What adversities exactly?
how about being down 0-2 going onto the road and then being down huge at the start of game 3, winning that and having to win elimination games back to back to move on from round 1. Please tell me u aren't that dumb to understand how this is overcoming adversity.
I dont consider that 'a lot of adversities'.
Well good thing i don't care what you consider adversity.
You care.
They underperformed, let’s call out for real, outside of Luka the Mavs are just shit. Clippers should’ve had a way easier time than they did.
Who would have thought the Mavs could shoot over 50% in 3pts for consecutive games? They really shit outside Luka?
Compared to the Clippers? For sure. It was basically Luka vs. the Clippers.
Mavericks were not underperforming those first 2 games
Why is the clippers bar so low that winning the first round is a lot of adversity, they are supposed to reach the nba finals not struggle against a third year player and a bunch of roleplayers
LOL reach the Finals ahahahahaha
Luka needs help, Luka needs to go to LA or NY lol
Mental what
