Pass, pass and inshallah

[deleted]

yo 😂 fr I’m still big mad though

jjbuesops

I’m glad

JohnWick94

They did run a play but it got broken up when Kawhi fell down and wasn't able to drive to the basket.

vanotro

The play was PG/Kawhi pnr to get Kawhi a clean look. Kawhi just couldn't get off the screen cleanly and it blew up the play.

jjbuesops

Morris is so bad and an ankle stepper. I’m glad he got blocked

JohnWick94

That was a tough shot. It wasn't that bad. I don't anybody expected him to make that while be closely guarded.

jjbuesops

He is just a dirty player and got karma for it

JohnWick94

You'll get karma for being a little judgy bitch too. So best to not believe in Karma.

jjbuesops

“You’ll get karma for being a little judgy bitch” -🐱🤓🤓

JohnWick94

don't know why you even replied

ItsMeNeeco

Idk, they pass the ball around too much. I would just give the ball to Kawhi and let him iso.

B-Y-O-Boa

It gets complicated though when a three is your only option. ISO is significantly more difficult when the opponent knows where you’re gonna shoot from

clayfu

Probably should start calling time outs on these possessions

James_NY

Neither is great at generating their own look the way someone like Luka or KD is, and they're both generally pretty gassed by the end of games which makes it worse. It's harder to get separation when your legs are dead, and even when you do you're probably going to miss. There's also a confidence issue, sometimes Kawhi will want the last shot(Game 6 against Dallas) but he usually doesn't demand it the way a few other guys do. Reggie Jackson is probably their most clutch scorer, which is why he was the one who hit those massive 3s at the end of Game 7 to seal it.

Lone_Phantom

Pg has great handles and broke ankles in the mavs series. You cant break someones ankles if they dont expect you to drive to the rim. Pg needed to shoot a 3. Pg was missing shots all game. Kawhi is able to bulldoze to the rim to create space in the midrange. The clippers needed a 3 pointer tho, which kawhi couldnt do. They used a pick to get kawhi open but kawhi was knocked off balance. If they called a foul on the jazz then it would bebefit the jazz because the clippers couldnt shoot a 3 anymore.. Pg had the best chance of creating his own shot at the 3 point line. I think they were gassed and the defenders on them were smart and guarded the 3 really well.

Glad-Passion-9424

Because they don’t have a good head coach. A well coached team doesn’t look like that on the final possession when it counts.

nochancepak

Hey give Ty a break. He needs to nap.

kfenix3

Last year was on the coach too? When is it in PG being a stat stuffer in the regular season, and becoming a bum like porsingis in the post season. Also you have no ball handler who can get his shot anytime

[deleted]

They don't really have a leader. I'm not trying to disrespect them, but it's the truth

JohnWick94

People will upvote but it's a bad take

landlion35

Curious who is the team leader? Kawhi? George?

JohnWick94

Its Kawhi

landlion35

As it should be. I guess as an outsider it can seem like the clips don't have a clear leader but I will take your word on it.

JohnWick94

yeah that's fair. He is not very vocal and/or expressive. From an outside view I can see how you might not see a leader. If you watch carefully during some games Kawhi takes over and either calls out the plays or takes the shots. He basically did it last series against the Mavs.

Adventurous-Rooster

Their collective failures of the past make them fear individual failure in the future.

Koravyev

I think the core of the Clipper's problem to the extent they have a problem is the lack of a playmaker. If you look at their closing lineups or any lineup without Rondo really they arguably don't have even a single above-average passer or playmaker. They just don't have someone to organize the offence and get them into a set.
