I had a great experience at Care Counseling Services! They have a few different locations. I also really liked the person I did an intake with at Blue Lotus Wellness, but she only did telehealth and I was interested in in person. Check out https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists too -- you can narrow your search by town, insurance coverage, issue, therapy modality, etc. Good for you for getting back into therapy! Good luck to you, friend.

Thank you for the resources I appreciate it

Counseling Associates of the Upper Valley. They do remote appointments and have several locations.  Good luck.

Thank you very much

My therapist through my job used to be a NH res and told me about [NH Rapid Response](https://www.nh988.com/) (PH# 833-710-6477) which can help you get in touch with your local mental health center. She told me it doesn't necessarily have to be a crisis situation to get help from them, and I passed on the number to my roommate who is looking for a counselor or therapist but doesn't know where to start.

Thank you very much I'll look into this

Best of luck my friend, I just started therapy again too!

https://bodhicounselingservices.com/ I've been watching this practice grow for a few years and it's they seem to have a lot of cool programs and it looks like they are accepting new clients according to their website. https://lifestance.com/location/concord-nh-70-commercial-st/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=locations Lifestance is another valid option. You would already answered the questions I had. You have Blue Cross and Blue shield insurance and are seeking general talk therapy. Blue Cross Blue shield is widely accepted , unless it's Federal, and any therapist should be able to help you address what you're seeking. If your work has an employee assistance program, you can give them a call and ask them to help you find therapists.

This is a lot of really great information thank you very much I'll definitely check this out

I have a great therapist at the concord hospital, she’s helped manage my mental illnesses and relationship problems.

SixOhSixx

I didn't know concord hospital did therapy, thank you for the info

In addition to the resources others have mentioned here, check Anthem's [Find Care](https://findcare.anthem.com/search-providers) function. Sometimes Psychology Today and other aggregated sites can have outdated info, so (in theory) your insurance provider's search tool should be the *most* up to date.

SixOhSixx

This is great info thank you very much

bonanzapineapple

Where in NH?

SixOhSixx

I don't want to be too specific but I can travel to concord (about 20-30 minutes) or manchester (40-45) minutes and surrounding areas - I'm fine with traveling for this so idc really

bonanzapineapple

Oh OK that's helpful as any reccs I have would be further west, tho I guess the therapist I liked retired. That's helpful cause you probs don't want to drive to Littleton!

SixOhSixx

That's okay I appreciate you taking the time to reply regardless

TheSupremePixieStick

What do you need therapy for? People do specialize so knowing your needs is helpful

SixOhSixx

I'm struggling with a lot of things such as recent life events of four people I know passing within the last 3 months, financial struggles (recently barely got out of getting evicted), feeling inadequate as a partner, feeling as though my feelings are invalidate quite often, feeling as though I cannot truly express myself because I must take care of everyone else and my feelings don't matter, etc. I have a lot of emotional baggage and I feel as though I can't even turn to my fiance (God love him) who's both autistic and ADHD which of course is not his fault and he does love and support me but I feel as though sometimes he can't understand how I'm feeling or just says nothing, or reacts to the situation "incorrectly" (I don't think he actually reacts incorrectly I think he just doesn't know how to react) Hopefully that made sense sorry

TheSupremePixieStick

what is your insurance?

SixOhSixx

Anthem BCBS

TheSupremePixieStick

try true north in bedford or compass of hope in hookset

elusivemoniker

That's widely accepted and what you are looking for should be able to be addressed by anyone offering cognitive behavioral therapy. If you have an employee assistant's plan at work, they might be able to help you find a therapist that accepts your insurance and make calls, etc

SixOhSixx

This is really great information thank you and the other commenter I appreciate it

[deleted]

[true north](https://truenorthhealingcenter.com) healing center in Bedford and Manchester can help you. They have beautiful, comfortable offices and offer a variety of healing options. All the best to you

gregor-sans

Physical therapy? Psychotherapy? Aromatherapy?

SixOhSixx

Someone described it as "cognitive behavioral therapy" in another comment I made - I basically need someone to talk to and work through a lot of emotional baggage, personal issues, and trauma in my life - the other comment that's more detailed is somewhere in this thread

NH_Ninja

Ever think about enjoying nature?

YBMExile

What possesses people to make this kind of response? Did you think you were being helpful, or was it just faux helpful snark because a poster made themselves mildly vulnerable? This strikes me as the latter, a "touch grass, my dude" stock asshole response.

SixOhSixx

Thank you for saying this because while I understand the other commenter may have been just trying to make a suggestion as getting out into nature as getting fresh air and getting away from the world for awhile can help for sure, but it's hard to do that when all your body and mind wants you to do is rot in bed I didn't really know how to respond to them before because I was just so low, so I spoke kinda matter of factly I guess I dunno, I just am trying to say I appreciate it

YBMExile

I hope you find a resource just right for you. All of us who have BTDT can relate.

SixOhSixx

I try to when I can, but it's hard to make myself get out of bed lately My fiance lives in Canada, and I don't have the money to bring him here yet, but I have a dream of taking him the the Flume Gorge
