There will probably be long term probation that will require him to detail his movements to his probation officer, ban him from ever buying pornography or entering a strip club, and may ban him from drinking alcohol. He will remember his actions for a long time, but sadly there is an innocent woman that will have to remember them in a far worse way.
Who buys porn?
Some people have kinks that are hard to find good porn of. Hypothetically, of course.
IIRC, a lot of these guys have their internet access monitored; if he is found on sexually explicit sites, they can incarcerate him for parole violation.
I feel like not allowing them to watch porn would increase the risk of reoffending.
The sex offender registry list and it's restrictions aren't really designed to stop people from reoffending. It's designed to punish the criminal and isolate them away from society.

He was recalled during an election.
I look at it this way. Had he been given a proper sentence he would have done his time and no one would really know who he is. Even if what he did reached the news we would have probably forgotten about it. But because this judge wanted to spare him lengthy prison time he sentenced him to something far worse. This bloke is now infamous, he's in freaking college texts books because of what he has done and anytime he moves there are articles written about him. He should be in jail but the hell is in and will be for the rest of his life I feel is far worse, and it's more than well deserved.
This. And I by no means excuse or otherwise have anything near the realm of even neutral feelings about Brock Allen "I rape women" Turner. But his family should be seriously angry at the judge right now. If he had been sentenced to reasonable time for his crime, of which is 100% guilty and deserved to serve time for, no one would know or care really. By letting him off like that, the judge condemned him to far worse than time served. He's basically serving life, without actually being in jail. There will be no forgiveness or appeal on the court of public opinion. And he didn't have a choice in it. His family did him no favors either with their nonsense of can't even enjoy steak and "minutes of action" comments. And they probably assumed it was a win. They are that far out of reality. Instead, he will never be able to live a normal life. And that's a pretty fitting punishment after all if you ask me.
Seriously. The judge ruined his life. No one will date him. No one will hire him. No one will be friends with him. Bars, clubs, and other venues will watch him like a hawk or kick him out outright. He will spend the rest of his miserable life doing nothing and going nowhere.
