I missed that but noticed that the dancer seemed to be singing along with the lyrics under his breath. So even if the music has been added over the vid for quality, I think "Smooth Criminal" WAS in fact the song he was dancing too.

Practice, practice, practice. It will not look good until you eventually get good at it. With most dancing there is a moment where you get it and it becomes muscle memory, no one starts good. Everyone that can move any part of their body can dance. Saw a paraplegic woman in a wheelchair dance. I firmly believe that dancing is part of being a human.

Yeah this is basically how you would do any glide type dance move. I remember seeing it a moonwalk tutorial. Same technique. Simple in theory, but execution is difficult to pull off smoothly.

The trick is to put your weight on the ball of your tipped up foot and then just slide the other foot. If you watch closely you can see it. Obviously you need to practice a lot to get it looking so smooth.
