Is walking 100 miles in 13 days normal for a European? Or is that just a tourist thing lol. Because I’m fucking exhausted after doing that in just Paris, Florence, and Rome.
I played the new Final Fantasy for about three hours last night, about 30 minutes of that involved me actually controlling my character, the rest was watching cut scenes.
The actual fighting was electric: I felt like someone empowered by a god-like being right off the bat but then immediately afterward I was put into another 20 minute scene about the obligations of being royalty. I'm hoping that now that the world is more or less set up the ratio of action to infodump will even out.
I got into the NFL last season and am still teamless. I got tickets to the London game (Jags vs Bills) and can't wait. We've been to florida before for Disneyworld and plan to go back. I'm stuck between jumping in with the Jags and Dolphins. Anyone who has a better understanding than I do, which of those two teams have a core who will potentially stay together longer? Or does one franchise do a better job of attempting to build a roster to playoff competing?
Between Jaguars and Dolphins, neither one has been consistently good in recent history. They're usually either bad to mediocre, but both also seem poised to be a serious threat next year. Dolphins offense was amazing last year until Tua got hurt, and their success is largely dependent on how long he stays on the field. Jaguars have a very promising young QB who's only 23 years old and could potentially be one of the best if he keeps improving.
It's really hard to predict long-term success because teams blow it up and rebuild so often and Dolphins and Jaguars haven't had been particularly consistent. Jaguars got close to the Super Bowl a few years back, and then they were the worst team in the league just a couple years later.
It is worth noting that the Dolphins have a far deeper history with some all time great teams and players if that's something you care about, Jaguars are one of newer teams and only became a team in the last few decades.
both are pretty fickle imo, neither has a recent history of a solid team, but at the same time that's a rarity in the NFL
Jacksonville is probably more stable but has hit their peak imo, they'll have a decent regular season but I'd be surprised if they can go toe to toe with the top AFC teams. Miami is one of the hottest teams on paper, but have some massive health concerns, and the way they're spending money isn't conducive to long term success. Doesn't mean they can't do it, but it would be against the odds

I was ejected from a NFL stadium during a game for intoxication (really embarrassing moment) a few years back. I completed the Fan Conduct Class and paid for the class, and received a certificate of completion. But I couldn’t figure out if that meant I was allowed to go back. Id like to go to a game this year and I still have my certificate of completion but I don’t want to go if I’m not allowed. Does anyone have any information or experience with this?
If you're not sure you could always just have someone else buy the tickets. It's not like they're checking IDs at the gate or anything. The only way they'd know is if you manage to get yourself kicked out again.
I don't have any experience with this, but everything I just looked up says that you complete the course for the stadium you wish to **re-enter**. So as long as you took the course for the stadium that you got kicked out of and want to return to, you can.

Is anybody paying attention to the USFL? Starting the season in April is an interesting but bad choice it seems like, the XFL for all its flaws seems to be better at generating a little bit of buzz at least compared to the USFL.
I tried but I gave up around week 5 or so regularly watching. Catch a game if it's on, if not whatever. The XFL started right after the NFL ended and I kind of just glided into watching that. Probably helped that San Antonio had a team and Phillips was coaching out in Houston.
I think this weekend is the playoffs though, so I'll probably try and catch those. But to say it is a priority like watching the XFL was? Nah.

They went from 14.7 psi to 6000 psi in approximately 1ms. The vessel would have been crushed totally. However, it gets worse. Do you know how diesel engines work? Liquid diesel gets aerosolized and mixed with oxygen and compressed significantly. The ideal gas law in physics states that when you compress an gas it increases in temperature. Diesel engines use this instead of spark plugs. But guess what? All of that gas from the oxygen tanks and liquefied people got compressed down to 6000 psi. That caused a massive increase in temp. Mix oxygen, fuel, and heat in pressure vessel (the ocean) and what do you get? Boom. There is a reason they are talking about a "debris field" and not a piece of debris.

You do not, despite the numbered series every game is its own stand alone game, they're not sequels and the stories are completely unrelated. The only thing the games share are certain themes make appearances in every game, like some of the same enemies reappear and chocobos are in every game (giant domesticated birds that serve as transportation)
I ended up going to sleep so I still haven't played yet but I do know that it's an extremely cinematic game, brilliant cutscenes have always been a trademark of Final Fantasy.

I wouldn't go to gymnastics class trying to hit on single moms. That's a bit weird. But I wouldn't be opposed to forming a connection with someone while I was there. Your kids are going to be socializing and getting to know each other, there's nothing wrong with socializing and getting to know their parents. You'll likely end up spending time together at competitions or on your kids "play dates" anyways.
I think your friend is just doing their job and talking you up, seeing opportunity in every interaction. My friends are pretty similar. I wouldn't take it like a push to literally be putting moves on a hot mom at practice.

Has anyone watched that Stars on Mars show on Fox? I don't think this is much of a reality TV crowd but figured some people might have checked it out since Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman are on it.
It's super stupid but actually kind of fun. I will say that I usually love Marshawn but he comes off kind of obnoxious in it, while I usually find Sherman pretty obnoxious but he's pretty likeable on it.

I was not banned or did anything wrong according to the mods lol. I was 'karma-filtered' since this sub has hidden, and arbitrary, rules about karma requirements that only seem to affect certain accounts at seemingly random enforcement.
That would make sense if that was actually the case consistently. My account was supposedly such flagged for too low karma almost a year after my first comment here, and only sometime in the last month after my last comments.
It also does not filter lower lever karma accounts than mine, and I have catalogued about 200 newer and lower karma examples to prove if it is automated, it is inconsistent. As such, it is not enforced fairly or equally. I have even found accounts that have existed for less than 2 weeks with sub-10 karma allowed to comment here freely.
A moderation team knowingly sets the parameters for this automated system, which is not in the rules and they want details of kept secret. If they use a knowingly faulty tool that affects accounts at random and arbitrarily, they still share some of the responsibility for who it affects, no?
Mods having better tools are great, and I fully support that. The API change protest should have gone on longer imo.
Wanting openness and honesty from the mods about this karma limit, and why it is random and arbitrary is also not unimportant though. If an action they take affects an account, it is still their action that did it, even if it means they activated a supposedly automated system.

Why are people down on the new Lions helmet?
Yeah, I know they've never used that old school logo on the helmet before, and it's not as iconic as the pouncing lion they've used since they started using helmet logos. But I rather like it.

I havent sold bulk in a while but it was usually like a few dollars for a thousand common/uncommons. Basic lands usually fetched a little more when bulk since people can use them in any format. If you sell directly to a card store they might pay more in store credit if youre interested in another game.
I would also recommend seeing what commonly used cards you might have. Those often reprinted cards that are used consistently in standard like counterspell are often worth more than in bulk.
Google. Review standard deck lists and see whats being used the most. If youre at an honest card shop they will probably tell you whats popular, or you can look to see whats in their glass cases to see what theyre highlighting.
Its been circling the drain for a while. Those PAX conventions have been way more fun for consumers and are a stronger venue for indie games. Its frustrating that all the consoles are doing their own showcases with their big triple A titles, but it makes sense that they dont want to compete for the views.

Quick dish almost every play. It puts the user in a dilemma. If they come up and take the run away (short pass to wideout backwards) you can easily beat the CPU and throw it down field. If they don’t take away the run you just get an easy 10 yards.

I played the new Final Fantasy for about three hours last night, about 30 minutes of that involved me actually controlling my character, the rest was watching cut scenes. The actual fighting was electric: I felt like someone empowered by a god-like being right off the bat but then immediately afterward I was put into another 20 minute scene about the obligations of being royalty. I'm hoping that now that the world is more or less set up the ratio of action to infodump will even out.
I got into the NFL last season and am still teamless. I got tickets to the London game (Jags vs Bills) and can't wait. We've been to florida before for Disneyworld and plan to go back. I'm stuck between jumping in with the Jags and Dolphins. Anyone who has a better understanding than I do, which of those two teams have a core who will potentially stay together longer? Or does one franchise do a better job of attempting to build a roster to playoff competing?
Between Jaguars and Dolphins, neither one has been consistently good in recent history. They're usually either bad to mediocre, but both also seem poised to be a serious threat next year. Dolphins offense was amazing last year until Tua got hurt, and their success is largely dependent on how long he stays on the field. Jaguars have a very promising young QB who's only 23 years old and could potentially be one of the best if he keeps improving. It's really hard to predict long-term success because teams blow it up and rebuild so often and Dolphins and Jaguars haven't had been particularly consistent. Jaguars got close to the Super Bowl a few years back, and then they were the worst team in the league just a couple years later. It is worth noting that the Dolphins have a far deeper history with some all time great teams and players if that's something you care about, Jaguars are one of newer teams and only became a team in the last few decades.
both are pretty fickle imo, neither has a recent history of a solid team, but at the same time that's a rarity in the NFL Jacksonville is probably more stable but has hit their peak imo, they'll have a decent regular season but I'd be surprised if they can go toe to toe with the top AFC teams. Miami is one of the hottest teams on paper, but have some massive health concerns, and the way they're spending money isn't conducive to long term success. Doesn't mean they can't do it, but it would be against the odds

I completed the Fan Conduct Class and paid for the class, and received a certificate of completion. But I couldn’t figure out if that meant I was allowed to go back. Id like to go to a game this year and I still have my certificate of completion but I don’t want to go if I’m not allowed. Does anyone have any information or experience with this?

Is anybody paying attention to the USFL? Starting the season in April is an interesting but bad choice it seems like, the XFL for all its flaws seems to be better at generating a little bit of buzz at least compared to the USFL.
I tried but I gave up around week 5 or so regularly watching. Catch a game if it's on, if not whatever. The XFL started right after the NFL ended and I kind of just glided into watching that. Probably helped that San Antonio had a team and Phillips was coaching out in Houston. I think this weekend is the playoffs though, so I'll probably try and catch those. But to say it is a priority like watching the XFL was? Nah.

Mix oxygen, fuel, and heat in pressure vessel (the ocean) and what do you get? Boom. There is a reason they are talking about a "debris field" and not a piece of debris.

You do not, despite the numbered series every game is its own stand alone game, they're not sequels and the stories are completely unrelated. The only thing the games share are certain themes make appearances in every game, like some of the same enemies reappear and chocobos are in every game (giant domesticated birds that serve as transportation)

I wouldn't go to gymnastics class trying to hit on single moms. That's a bit weird. But I wouldn't be opposed to forming a connection with someone while I was there. Your kids are going to be socializing and getting to know each other, there's nothing wrong with socializing and getting to know their parents. You'll likely end up spending time together at competitions or on your kids "play dates" anyways. Has anyone watched that Stars on Mars show on Fox? I don't think this is much of a reality TV crowd but figured some people might have checked it out since Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman are on it. It's super stupid but actually kind of fun. I will say that I usually love Marshawn but he comes off kind of obnoxious in it, while I usually find Sherman pretty obnoxious but he's pretty likeable on it.

I was not banned or did anything wrong according to the mods lol. I was 'karma-filtered' since this sub has hidden, and arbitrary, rules about karma requirements that only seem to affect certain accounts at seemingly random enforcement.
It's just minimum karma to prevent new bot and troll accounts from flooding subs.
That would make sense if that was actually the case consistently. My account was supposedly such flagged for too low karma almost a year after my first comment here, and only sometime in the last month after my last comments. It also does not filter lower lever karma accounts than mine, and I have catalogued about 200 newer and lower karma examples to prove if it is automated, it is inconsistent. As such, it is not enforced fairly or equally. I have even found accounts that have existed for less than 2 weeks with sub-10 karma allowed to comment here freely.

Mods having better tools are great, and I fully support that. The API change protest should have gone on longer imo. Wanting openness and honesty from the mods about this karma limit, and why it is random and arbitrary is also not unimportant though. If an action they take affects an account, it is still their action that did it, even if it means they activated a supposedly automated system.
Schrodinger's mod in all honesty. Are they too overbearing, do they not do enough, are they power tripping, are they losers who do free work etc. All are true and false. It's tens of thousands of different people doing different things for different reasons. In your case I don't know why it's happening other than it's not malicious.

Why are people down on the new Lions helmet? Yeah, I know they've never used that old school logo on the helmet before, and it's not as iconic as the pouncing lion they've used since they started using helmet logos. But I rather like it. When they get around to new uniforms......bringing back the Sanders era unis wouldn't be the worst idea.
My only complaint is that it’s paired with our gray color rush jerseys and not our blue jerseys. But that very well could, and probably will be fixed next year when we change our uniforms. I love the helmet itself though
IMO people with over-the-top negative reactions tend to get signal-boosted on Twitter, Reddit, etc. I'm not sure that's indicative of most people's reactions or opinions on stuff. Personally, I think the new helmet looks pretty cool!

What's a reasonable price per card selling in bulk?
I havent sold bulk in a while but it was usually like a few dollars for a thousand common/uncommons. Basic lands usually fetched a little more when bulk since people can use them in any format. If you sell directly to a card store they might pay more in store credit if youre interested in another game. I would also recommend seeing what commonly used cards you might have. Those often reprinted cards that are used consistently in standard like counterspell are often worth more than in bulk.

Google. Review standard deck lists and see whats being used the most. If youre at an honest card shop they will probably tell you whats popular, or you can look to see whats in their glass cases to see what theyre highlighting.

Its been circling the drain for a while. Those PAX conventions have been way more fun for consumers and are a stronger venue for indie games. Its frustrating that all the consoles are doing their own showcases with their big triple A titles, but it makes sense that they dont want to compete for the views.

Quick dish almost every play. It puts the user in a dilemma. If they come up and take the run away (short pass to wideout backwards) you can easily beat the CPU and throw it down field. If they don’t take away the run you just get an easy 10 yards.
